I still haven't played the first. I hear it's great. I heard it was great back in 2000 when GameFan Magazine wouldn't shut up about it. Now we know the VC release wasn't a complete fluke.
I have the first on VC but need to give it a proper go to know if I love it, nevertheless I am glad to see it's getting a sequel, and hope it's as fun as the first is said to be.
Never played the first one. I do love Ikaruga, wich was also made by Treasure, so I'll try the first some time before the sequel comes out to see if I like it.
Y'know, odds of this actually happening are slim to none, but if they included some extra Treasure games in there as unlockables - ones that couldn't possibly work on VC - that would certainly help seal the deal.
Y'know, Radiant Silvergun.
Oh wow...I might get the first one, after seeing that. Looks quite awesome, indeed. Does remind me of Ikaruga...but also Space Harrier, maybe? Kinda? All this news is like...overwhelming. Thanks!
Yeah, the flying bits seem a bit Space Harrier-ish to me. I don't think they flew in the first one, just running and maybe some flashy jumping.
Well, it's not quite flying in the context of Space Harrier, but there was this one scene which had you shooting planes down while on a flying slab of concrete.
This looks pretty awesome, this makes me want to play this game.

Radiant Silvergun...you love that game don't you? I need to play that for sure...I love space shooters so it's definitely a good one. The first S&P has moved up my list bigtime.
Heck yes. Thank you Treasurrrre :3
This trailer makes me want to own, and play "Sin and Punishment 2" for Wii. This also makes me want to own the Wii gaming console system, because of this.
