$400? Apparently the PS3 over in your area must be fairly cheap, the prices are still $600 over in my area (there also isn't any games interesting enough for me to warrant out the cash for said console).

Hahah no it was a joke. Considering the other PS3s available play PS2 and PS1 games...they're not solely PS3, so to speak. While the 40GB which only plays PS3 games is but $400. But yes I kno what you're saying. =P
