Ignore the stupid, cliche pun, I'm a gal in dire need. I've recently purchased myself a Wii (finally) and despite reading game magazines/websites/whatever for any news on such, I could use the opinion of my fellow forumers on just what game is worth getting on Wii. So shout it out on what I should spend my well earned money on...
...Except horror games. It's not the gore and monsters (which I'm fine with), I just hate being surprised. I'm a wuss like that. And no Zelda: Twilight Princess suggestion. I already played the GC version and while I know the Wii offers something different with the control scheme, I'm not too sure I'd wanna shell out 50 bucks on something I know I won't have the attention span to play through again (maybe I'll buy it when it's cheaper).
Despite those two cardinal rules, go nuts.
Mario Strikers Charged?
Super Paper Mario?
Warioware?
Sonic and the Secret Rings?
Cooking Mama?
Brain Academy?
I was gonna say RE4: Wii but
Not to forget Trauma Centre, the game which can traumatise you.
Oh yes, silly me. If only that bloody game came out here already. >:
Well personally...i'm a sucker for the Virtual Console games. So i'd say:
Super Star Soldier
R-Type
Gunstar Heroes
Soldier Blade
As for actual Wii games, Sonic and the Secret Rings was very good IMO. I can't really say anything about any of the others.

Ahaha, sorry for being such a wuss. Maybe I'll get over it someday.
I got Mario Strikers Charged since I like soccer and my little sis loved the prequel and I've heard good things on the current list you give. Brain Academy sounds like a game the whole famly can enjoy (my sis would kick my ass on that game), and I want Super Paper Mario, so I'll probably buy that in the near future.
Just how good is Sonic and the Secret Rings? I heard it's better the most recent Sonic games, but I'd like a bit more detail.
I second Super Paper Mario and Warioware: Smooth Moves. The only Virtual Console games you should even consider buying are the N64 games; anything else can be easily emulated.
Sonic and the Secret Rings is alright. A lot better in my opinion then his other 3D adventures but still not quite absolutely brilliant.
Steering in the right direction, tho.
I wouldn't suggest Sonic... It wasn't worth the money.
If you are alright on holding out, Metroid comes out at the end of the month.
I can't believe that no one suggested Raving Rabbids?! That one's good. As for Secret Rings, maybe this will help:

Sonic and the secret rings is fun. I don't know if I got my moneys worth with only 8 hours of gameplay though.

That video is hilarious. The guy really has anger issues about the new Sonic voice actor.
