I think Dhalsim is an odd choice as a returner, but I don't mind, I think it looks and sounds great so far.

More info about the game and two new screenshots with Ken taking on Ryu. Apparently the game is prequel to SF III which sort of explain Dhalsim and Chun Li appearing in the game.

I'm not gonna go by the rumours yet, there's a good chance that the screenshots are from an early, incomplete build, which explains the rough looking Ken, and the story setting seems odd for a numbered title.
What's more I don't see why being placed between SF2 and SF3 makes it more understandable for Chun Li's return, since she was in SF3: Third Strike, which is an epilogue to SF3.

I prefer Ken to Ryu generally, I just love that pic because of how effortless Ryu's attack looks. 😛

The gameplay itself is looking excellent, I'm not fond of Ryu's face though.
I wonder if there is the off chance of juggles...seeing as how Ryu was able to hit Ken in the air with a fireball...please no juggles in SF. They also took out air guard so my strategy of chicken guarding is moot now...great!

Hopefully the new Saving System will give some benefit back there, but yeah, dropping Parrying and not including Air Blocking while adding some slight air juggling could be rather iffy.

I can not stress this enough...if it was to come to the Wii. I'd personally fly over to Capcom Japan's HQ and submit myself. I'd forever be their servant and do whatever it is they need me to do. Be it, killing, stealing, or what have you. My gosh...please bring it to the Wii...with all the features of the other versions[online really is all i'd want]. :DD Thanks for that tidbit Shadonic. Unless of course...it doesn't get ported to the Wii...in that case...run for your life, because i'm going to find you.

As long this is not becoming a Street Fighter 2 with one extra character (character-wise), I'm game.
New character, El Fuerte (meaning The Fort or The Strong One).
He looks pretty cool, though I would have preffered a more original looking lucha libre character.
Character design-wise, he looks awesome.
Name wise, it's bland.

The new Fuerte character is pretty damn awesome. I might be using him a lot when I play this game. I'm definately digging his design and style of fighting.
