Cuz if you haven't and are still wondering how the game will play, it's literally the exact same as you left it. Literally. Even all the animation-frame rules are in play. If you really have to know, download Super SF2 Turbo HD and then turn that into 3D with of course the new reversal systems and such; you got SF4.
And I can't freakin' wait. *giggles like a school girl and goes to play 100 more matches in SSF2THD*

Yep! Played it in September at the GS manager conference, </ego trip>. It was pretty neat. They had four cabinets back to back, so vs matches were linked, (meaning, just like in Japan; one side is player one, other side is player 2, you're never side by side... which I personally think kinda sucks). But yeah, seriously, the game plays just like you left it. The only thing keeping it from being "pure" is the smoothiness that brings to every game when it's turned into 3D. You're just not used to that. You have to take into consideration when you're pulling off your certain animation-frame reversal moves and combos that you might have to wait or time it one split milli-second earlier or some such.
All in all though, AWE-SOMMME! 
Sweetness dude. I can not wait for that game. Oh man! But I have played it...HDRemix. Good lord almighty! The game is basically flawless. Fei Long has new moves. Wooo hooo!!! He's even deadlier, now. But my gosh...one of my friend's used Zangief and was he kicking arse. The Red Cyke is serious this time guys. But the game is absolutely amazing. I must own it. Must...own...it. MUST!
I'll start with what i'll most likely be purchasing all the way up to what I can only dream of.
The controller I will most likely definitely get. I haven't played a SF in the arcade[not counting Vs series] since like...SFII, back in '95 or '96, so in that regard...a controller is just better for me. That FightStick though...is very pretty. And the Tournament Stick...good lord. Really? Anywho..has anyone posted anything on this yet...sorry if I overlooked it. I was wishing for a better controller and i'm glad they're doing this. The SFAC they released a few years ago work wonders. No more trying to finish off an opponent by way of a Super Combo but dying due to faulty input commands, because the D-pad doesn't get your 2nd quarter circle. =P

No, it wasn't a figure. It was supposed to be an artbook that went with it, (if a figure was announced, I'm clueless on that). Apparently that's recently been taken off the CE sku and instead has been replaced with... ... a Ryu bandanna. Lame.
As for the arcade sticks, if you have a 360, if you can find yourself a Hori stick, whether it's just the green and white one or the DOA4 one (they're both the same, I have the DOA4 one), get that one instead. I'm just not a fan of MadCatz, never have, never will. While the sticks look pretty and I wish I had a chance to actually USE them as opposed to just see them sit there and look pretty, but MadCatz has never had a good track record with me, and speak to anyone else who works in the industry, and you'll probably hear the same thing.
I could be wrong... and it'd be the first time I'm wrong. If you had to go with a control pad, though, I don't think theirs would be bad. I think MadCatz's weakness is analog sticks more than anything else, (thus my super weariness with the arcade stick) - same goes with Pelican. They're always stiff and don't really move in a complete 360 degree motion, just in 8, (which is lame for now-aday thumbsticks, but I guess perfect for arcade sticks, now that I think about it).
BUT, whatev. Hori stick for me. $50 or so on eBay/Amazon. I suggest those.

As for me, I have no system to even play SFIV on, but i'm getting the PS3 copy. 😛 I want Nubytech to do these actually they're SFAC[ontrollers] ruled. But yea i've never really been a fan of MadCatz either...but I think they're pads will be alright. Hopefully, because I am getting one[or two].
The pads and stick (Not too sure on the pads) are being mad in cooperation with SDTekken's Markman, and he knows quite a bit about controllers and arcade sticks. So they should be good.
Oh heck yea! Hope this is true for the pads as well. *crosses fingers*
As someone who's better with a dpad I'm very happy to see the Saturn styled pads return, definitely want.

I've been playing various versions of Street Fighter II on my Sega Mega-Drive and my computer while I wait for Street Fighter IV to be released. I almost always play as Ryu since he's my favourite Street Fighter character. And Deejay's a f*****g pimp. Good times!

Right, right I see. Awesome man. I love II as well, but I gotta Third Strike took me by storm. Sure like...only 4 of our beloved II characters returned so im sure that was a turn off for like...90% of the II fans, but the game is golden. Oh my gosh! Hahaha As for IV...it looks to maybe top III s my favorite. It's got all my favorites so we'll see.
