Remember that first trailer @ last year's TGS? Well, Konami's showing off a new 7 minute long plot trailer at this year's TGS.
Epic does not begin to describe it. It's Japanese w/ english subs. Oddly enough, the game will be out in North America on October 5th and two days later for EU territories... while Japan won't be seeing it until December. So far, it's been getting some good buzz and first impressions have been favorable. This may truly be the first Castlevania 3D console title to break the mold and become a somewhat respectable entry in a storied line of increasingly underappreciated 2D offerings.
I had a passing interest in the game beforehand but after seeing this trailer it's now become a day 1 purchase. Man October's getting really cramped for video game releases; I've got Enslaved coming out the same day and I'm interested in Vanquish and New Vegas too. So many games so litle time >>
Wow...this does look[and sound] very very...theatrical to say the least. The Castlevania series is one i've wanted to get into. I suppose I will eventually. And we should just have one TGS topic...because there were quite a few big games shown off. For instance...*creates a topic*
