Saw the trailer and it seems we got a different sort of the song, "Passion." By the way, has anyone else listen to the "Passion ~after the battle~" song? Like the original Passion, I had to listen to it like three times before I decided it was good.

Oh, and trailer was nice, even if Vivi only blinked and did nothing else, but hey, at least I saw him move...well, his eyes anyways.

Not got around to the new trailer, but I have to argue that Passion is, as it stands, something I cannot stand. Perhaps if it gets Simple and Clean'd it might sound a bit better, but I doubt it, Hikari was INSTA-WIN awesome (as were the orchestra versions of it), I just don't see Passion having the strength to become a lasting theme for the game, I mean even if it makes it as a stand alone song, would it be suitable for sampling and remixing like Hikari/Simple and Clean was? Would it sounds as good by an orchestra or played softly on piano?

I just can't picture it. Perhaps I'll spoil myself to the soundtrack in Jan to confirm/deny, but I'm sort of holding that off, if only to let the music of Beast's Castle and Pirates. KH1 had the best soundtrack since NiGHTS in my opinion, I just beg they can top it, especially as we know nothing of it, besides Passion.

If craig is still watching, then I just want to say; his worries about the theme song is unfounded...

They worked an orchestral song with themes from that song into the intro movie, it seems absolutely fine, maybe not QUITE as good as Simple and Clean but nearly as good.

Also, I'm about to dissapear as well, having seen the ABSOLUTELY stunning intro movie that caps KH1 and CoM for people who may of missed it, ABSOLUTELY stunning.

And the theme song FITS the action, the staircase scenes from CoM is just, sublime. And It's got Marluxia attacking Sora with that axe, in 3D, even if only for 5 seconds...

Against my better judgement, I decided to check out the DVD quality 'Secret Ending' from KHII that was recently released by KHU. Turns out, it follows Another Side, Another Story's lead and retains the vagueness while almost absolutely hinting at what might be possible in the next game.

So, in other words, there are NO SPOILERS for KHII in the movie, so for those of you who were worried about that you can breathe a sigh of relief and watch it at your leisure.

For those that had already viewed it, your thoughts? The imagery was compelling enough though the FFXII judge rejects seem a little out of place, but then so did the cloaked men in ASAS.

And yes, I do feel a bit weird discussing possible KH3 plotlines without the privilege of having played KH2 yet.

Eh, I'm still gonna hold my own and watch the ending once I get KH2. It's more or less a test for me to see if I can truly make it through without spoiling myself. I failed it in FFIX, I failed it in Jak 2, I failed it in Advent Children, I ain't failing it in KH2, damn it!

I did when I got my DS, a month or two back. I warn you, storywise it's like 80% stuff you've already done with the word "Heart" being replaced with "Memory"

The 20% of it which is new plot is pretty good, and lets us get to know the Organisation Members. Except, you know, they die and wont come back in KH2

The gameplay is EVIL and mind destroying. Be warned.

The gameplay isn't too bad until the later bosses where the difficulty goes from insanely easy to downright unfair. But aren't most Squenix games like this? I do hate the card aspect...but it does balance stuff out. Do you know how easy Sora's story would be if Arcs Arcanum was an attack combo of 27 (And yes I know of the zero cards but still). Course I want to see more of Riku's final attack, rules so much.

Dark Aura does kick all kinds of tail, however it is rendered useless on the godmod bosses who have an unlimited supply of 0 cards. If you can use it on Riku's two hardest bosses (ie: the ones I can't mention by name for spoilage), then you're cheating. Full stop.

Then I guess I'm cheating because I did Dark Aura in the final battle when I stunned the final boss' ultimate attack. Works just fine for me. It helped knock off his insane amount of hp.

I heard the pushed back the release date of KH2 about another month...either way I've got a chance to hear the soundtrack and...eh, now I realize why I don't like listening to soundtracks before the game comes out. It doesn't impress me much but I'll get a better feel for the tunes when I play the game...

Yep. May release in the UK now, opposed to March. I assume that's to up the sales of FFXII more than anything else.

I've been informed by people that have the soundtrack that the Atlantica stages are musical in gameplay and soundtrack and are quoted to be "Mute the TV or play when no one else is around" affairs.

I wont spoil anything but I know who sings and which songs.

I have absolutely no problems with the musical songs in Altantica. Maybe cuz' I like musicals in general (which is why I'm excited to play Atlantica), so I'm not that ashamed or anything.

Any who, got the soundtrack too and frankly, I like it, especially Hollow Bastion (which I still think is a cool name).

Oh, yea, and considering this is the KH thread, I need some help. I recently snagged a copy of Chain of Memories and Captain Hook is kicking my ass (who'd have thunk a bumbling man like him could do such a thing), so...any tips?

Use block cards. If he uses his 3 card Sleight, have some 0's at the very very very bottom of your deck you you can L past the friends and reload, then card break his insane swish attack.

To prevent your own attacks being broken, use sleights. Buy some potions if you haven't got enough cards to survive a battle relying on sleights.
