The only thing worth watching on G4 anymore is X-Play (mostly due to their sarcastic wit and intern abuse. 😛 ), Icons (video game history. That's gotta count for something), and Cinematech (mostly because there's no host voiceover). And sometimes Anime Unleashed, depending on what show they're showing (last ones worth watching were Last Exile...and, despite its weirdness, Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi).

Aside from that, G4 is a load of sucking suckitude. TechTV was much better.

They still have to show some TechTV shows in Canada because their broadcast license has them down as a "technology-related informational broadcast", as opposed to a purely entertainment-centered venture, thus, they must keep certain items like Call For Help until their current broadcast license expires in 2007 or whenever.

Though it's pretty much limited to the only shows Ultra listed. I refuse to watch just about anything else on that channel. ESPECIALLY that "Attack of the Show", a gamer's-wannabe The Screen Savers.

I was only able to watch the Screen Savers a few times before TechTV merged. The quality was far superior to that of Attack of the Show...and the color scheme was much easier on the eyes.

i like G4, and personally i never liked Screensavers because it was overly boring.

But the Man show? YEAYAH!!! i've waited so long to see jimmy and adam's seasons again.

it was really funny.
but as far as the whipset goes, (with Streetfury,formula D and fastlane.) i only like Formula D because of the part of me that likes cars, while i like street fury because of the male part of me that loves Hot woman on Uber-kickass cars.
fastlane i can live with out. as i could probably live without G4tv.com

See, bringing in The Man Show simply reflects the fact that G4 is geared towards that kind of people. The kind of people who don't like The Screen Savers and would prefer to watch shows like Videogame Vixens. As if the women in regular beauty pageants weren't fake enough already.

Screen Savers ruled, no lie. Mainly because of Chi-Lan(Goddess), but AOTS is pretty funny if you ask me. Kevin has me cracking up sometimes, but I don't don't the show is that bad of a replacement of TSS. Too bad TSS had to leave though. Anyway yes, The Man Show coming to G4 has got to be the most random thing EVER. Why?!

G4 used to be WAY better - now it's completely excluding females such as myself. The people at G4 are using gamer stereotypes as their target audience. That's not right.

I stopped watching G4 after they pulled Robot Wars. It's gone downhill from where it used to be.

Funny, I always considered dropping Robot Wars an Improvement In overall show quality.

Battle-Bots > Robot Wars

I'm still waiting for Comedy Central to pick up Battle-Bots again. The quality of Robot Wars doesn't even compare.

Well, to be honest,
Watching wedge-shaped robots ponderously make their way around an arena in "OMGWTF X-TREEEME ROBOT COMBAT ACTION" Is boring no matter what the show to me.

Wedge-shaped robots are crap, and yet everyone picks them. How the hell is a fight between two doorstops on wheels supposed to be thrilling? More to the point, how are they even supposed to battle? Do they just drive over each other like ramps until one runs out of battery? GAH.

True that.
People build wedge robots because they're easy.
But now robot shows are flooded with them and they're all boring as a result.

If I were to build a robot, I'd build it six feet tall with two hammers, a buzzsaw, spikes, tank treads, and flamethrowers that pop out of the sides and spin around. I'd also build in a speak & spell or something so I could make it trash-talk the other robots in the middle of a fight. I mean, if you were fighting a gigantic behemoth robot with your piddly little wedge and all of a sudden it starts spewing things like "YOUR MAMA IS A PROSTITUTE" It'd be pretty distracting.

It'd be like that guy in the wheelchair from Family Guy. Y'know, that one guy with the robotic voice who hates Joe.
