Either Paper Mario game. Be it the Nintendo 64 original or its GameCube sequel. These are two of the greatest RPGs, if not just games in general, ever made. I want to make love to them, but that would ruin said cartridge and disc so I don't think I will.

But seriously, I love these games. I really don't think I've enjoyed any game as much as I've enjoyed these. For one thing, the concept is fun. You can't not love the ability to turn into a paper airplane and fly around, or the ability to tear scenery to shreds. Also, they're not angst-fests like, say, most Final Fantasy games. The Paper Mario series remains lighthearted and entertaining, while also being a bit challenging and, admittedly, sometimes frustrating.

They show an unusual amount of quality put into them; the text is superbly translated, to the point where you can't tell that the games originated in Japan. The characters are all unique and have different personalities. The graphics are also great, which shows that you don't need a high poly count and extreme realism to make something pleasing to the eye. But I digress.

wut do u think of these games tell m3 plz

als0 do u think ther shud b a third gaem i do

It will never live up to it's predacessor. Plain and simple. 'Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars' was a cult classic, it had a genuine story and I'd prefer it to pretty much any RPG to this day.

You cant beat a classic. But I guess the Paper Mario games are okay, more original then the FF Game franchise for sure.

The first one was good but the second one was great. One of those sequeals that's actually better than the original. The enjoyed the humor the plot twists of the Thousand Year Door.

Beldam: you've got a date with eternity.
Doopliss: That's right eternity, Slick!
Beldam: Shut up, freak!
Doopliss: Oh, okay.

Yes you are Wesu. The original for the SNES was great. It wasn't a very hard game though...Culex offered little challenge but it was still great and Geno needs to make another return.

Agreed, Geno rules. Although, Frogfucius was a close second for fave character in Mario RPG.
The first Paper Mario was cool and I enjoyed collected all the badges. Unfortunately, I have never played the GameCube version but I've heard nothing but good things about it.
I wish they'd make a GBA version of Mario RPG (portability would be good for the series). I played Superstar Saga but thought it was a little too silly, even for a Mario title, and paled in comparision to both Mario RPG and Paper Mario.

Did anyone else knows that the Paper Mario 2 and Fire Emblem: The Scacred Stone have like the same plot? Even created by the same company?
