A new Wario Land is coming soon. It's titled 'Wario Land: The Shake Dimension." Apperantly, Wario shakes his enemies to get their loot. Oh Wario, you jerk.

Like its predecessors, the game is entirely 2-D. Though there are anime-esque cutscenes thanks to Production I.G. (the guys who created the original Sonic Riders intro. So you KNOW the scenes will be great)

Is that Captain Syrup in the upper right hand corner? She's hot.

Awesome. Wario Land games always felt like a cross between Super Mario and the old DuckTales NES game (also awesome).

A Marina Land: The Shake-Shake Dimension is fine, too.

*agrees with PSX*

I loved Wario Land 2, until I lost it anyway...I've always wanted to get the whole series, and Wario World...

Anyway, I look forward to this muchly!

Never tried a WL game. Might give this one a try, though. For Wii, yes?

Judging from the screens and the series' history, DS most likely.

I love me some Wario Land. 2 was unbelievably awesome and 3 was smashing as well. I didn't much like 4 but oh well.

Call me excited.

It's been so long since I've played a Wario Land game. But I'd buy this in a heartbeat.

It looks awesome, both the intro and the gameplay. I love the sprite animation too!

I saw the manual aiming and vehicles and immediately thought Yoshi's Island.

This game just gained a few more notches on the #!+$ WIN meter.

From what I could gather from the scan and the opening cutscene, this big Shei King guy stole Uretopia's treasure which "makes infinite coins fall if you shake it" and has also kidnapped Queen Merufu (the turquoise-haired chick).
The little green Uretopian is completely clueless about Wario's intentions and even makes a small attempt at a speech about it being a point of no return if he accepts.

I'm looking forward to this, I quite enjoyed the previous Wario Land games and was disappointed with him being mostly confined to WarioWare games as of late... also, Master of Disguise supposedly wasn't great either. :/
The fact it's 2D is cool, too! Here's hoping other companies try to follow suit! I'm looking at you, Sonic Team! D<

Does anyone else realizes that the Wario's Brawl victory theme is similar to the song in the gameplay video.

I guess Brawl was advertising this game. o.o

Makes one wonder what else was cleverly hidden advertisements.
