Okay I know what your thinking: Look it's Pat with a another SEGA rant well this is not exactly what you think it is this is my lost post on this forum so if you think I going to offend you tough luck cause I'm not coming back, so don't waste you time banning me, so expect my to say some negetive stuff about Nintendo,and Sony and Mircosoft and even E.A., Activision and some not so positive things for SEGA.
First of all I'm just appaled at Sony right now in the way they are marketing PS3 I can't believe my ears when I heard them say that losing the GTA exclusive franchise don't mean nothing and won't hurt them, it's almost like they are in denial about how BAD of a decision is was for them to price the PS3 at $600, although the PSP is doing very well I've already believe that PS3 would be Sony's first failure since there were constant rumors about a delay until 2007. As far as I'm concerned the PS3 will be a miserable marketing failure much like the Saturn.
Now to Nintendo, I've noticed alot of fanboys living in denial about Wii,hoping Nintendo will succed again first they got over the name, now they really think that everybody will own one,while I've noticed alot of other gamers who see my point that the Wii suffers from one major flaw: It's just a gimmick. Sorry I sound harsh and I don't give a care, this is a reality check.
Think about it, what feature that Wii has that will assure anyone that it will live very long? none. Nice games, interesting ideas, but the fact that it will have to relie on it's awkward controller to sell will make it hard for it to live past two years, plus lack of HDTV support and complexty will cause it not to sell to hardcore gamers, my prediction is that although the controller is a nice idea, it will wear off very soon, even though the controller will seem fun, much like the R.O.B. and Virtual Boy, the Wii will become useless and repetitive. The Wii will probably only live for less then two years. And the way their going at it, it's almost like Nintendo knows that they won't be making much money on home consoles anymore and knows that by an indication of DS's sales handhelds is where the money is. Mark my words, expect Wii to be Nintendo's last home console.
As for SEGA, it's a tradegy that I can't find not one good thing said about them, everything I hear is bad. It's like people want SEGA to just dissapear for good or become a 1st party developer for Nintendo or Mirosoft. Maybe it's time for SEGA to see that they aren't cutting as a 3rd party publisher and that the only sensable thing to do is return to the hardware market, too bad the PS3 version of VF5 is only a poorly done port and that PS3 can't match Lindbergh's power, I hope that things get better for SEGA anad that by next year therer will be a SEGA brand console avilble.
So my point is that the indusrty is crashing like 1983-1984, it's to bad that nobody understands it yet, but you'll see what i'm talking about soon. goodbye.

There is enough originallity in games out there. Shadow of the Colossus (You + Horse + Dead Girlfriend + 16 Giants = Heaven), Katamari Damacy (Dung Beetle Simulator), Wario Ware (Reactions Test), Oddworld: Strangers Wrath (Hunt your ammo.
Also just because something isn't original doesn't mean its bad.
And just before this closes. I meant it about the hedgehog rescue.
His last post didn't seem any different from his regular anti-Nintendo, anti-Sony, anti-everyone other than Sega posts despite attempting to say something negative about Sega.
He will be remembered as an examp--nay the definition of a deluded fanboy in denial.
It's okay, I'm sure there will be a place for him at Gamefaqs' or IGN's message boards.

He may of been a decluded fan boy. But he was a damn articulate one. Console or not I've beggining to lose faith in segas abilities to create good games. I've been a sega fan since preschool so don't think I'm one of those noobs who just got into the sonic games this decade.

Coherent point with which I am inclined to agree.
The Ps3 won't fail, but chances are it will lose quite a lot of its market dominance due to what have been some pretty stupid strategies.
Personally, I'd take the Blu-ray player out of the thing and replace it with a DVD player. No-one would care much, and it would probably halve the price.
Quick question: Can the PS3 play DVDs?

What he meant to say (probably) is the exclusivity dealing that happen behind closed doors.
Example: A cheeky back hander to Ubisoft from Microsoft for keeping Splinter Cell Xbox only for 3 months.
