It's a 2D platformer with 3D graphics that kind of reminds me of Valkyrie Profile 2 visually, the creation mechanic looks to be taken from those Crayon Physics games, looks like it could be great fun.
It's for PC and PSN according to GT.
thats one good looking game. They dont make enough 2d games like that. Braid was the last one i played. Hopefully it has a longer lifespan than Braid though Reminds me of Oddworld a bit too.
Definitely one to keep an eye on.
Sorry, when I looked at the title, my first thought was the attack from FF7 that always killed my entire party...
Dang, I want a PC port of this and Braid (more so this however).
I still need to get Braid, a PC version would be great.
I have to say there seems to have been a growing number of side scrollers/old school styled games over the past couple of years, the aforementioned first of all, but also Valkyrie Profile 2, Odin Sphere, Muramasa, Megaman 9, Bionic Commando Rearmed, Street Fighter 4, Klonoa, Little Big Planet, etc...
Think this might be a sign of the times? It's easier to program and design 2D games thus they're likely cheaper...and with the economy screwed up maybe we'll see 2D gaming becoming the norm again.
Just a thought anyway. 😛
Wow! That does look quite fantastic. Nice find Robo. I'd love for lot of games[Sonic preferably grrr!!!] to go back to the 2D platforming ways. And like you said...with the economy in the state it is in...lol
