Either GOTY or the worst pile of poo since Jungle Book 2.
No middle ground.
More art.
Considering it's being headed by Warren Spector, as in System Shock Warren Spector, as in Deus Ex Warren Spector, I'm very much looking forward to seeing how this turns out.
The art and concept for the gme are both beautiful, bringing back forgotten characters from the original animated shorts is a kin to seeing Batman driving his original '39 Batmobile in Batman: Brave and the Bold, you don't have to be from that era to appreciate it.
So long as it has great gameplay, and what I hope is a big adventure, I'm getting this.
I don't know what to think but the art so far is kind of awesome! That's all I got though.
Epic Micky...A suiting name for a game that looks the word. I Hope this game is as good as KH!
But Poor Mickey his entire park has been turned into a twiseted deformed evil version of what it once was....Probably to reflect the way Modern Disney company operates! LULZ! (I kid & in all honesty they are getting away from that Teeny bopper BS & slowly making more traditonal works.)
looking foward to this.
Confirmed: Epic Mickey is a Wii exclusive.
Probably has something to do with the paintbrush Mickey's holding.
Well I been dun seen About Everehthaang! When I seen a cybernetic Elephant climbing Up a building!
Looks great! Thats the kind of Disney stuff I totally can dig.

Edit: Well I think these are the ones you posted:
I'm intrigued. When was this announced?
Beyond the 3D platforming are more than forty 2D side-scrolling levels,
each of which lasts about a minute or two. We were able to play one that
featured Disney classic Steamboat Willie, and playing through the stage
made you feel like you were actually walking through the old cartoon.
It was presented in black and white and had an old-film-like look. The
stage featured multiple path platforming, much like the early Sonic
the Hedgehog games. We were told thatthese stages were added as a treat to Disney fans, and were meant to
break up the 3D action a bit.
With a screenshot:
Which reminds me of the classic Disney platformers on the Genesis and Super Nintendo, particularly Mickey Mania, an old fave of mine.

That noticeably resembles Shadow. o.o
Really, I think that when even such cutesy titles as Mickey Mouse are pushed into this style, the whole "darker and edgier" thing is going a bit too far. There's all kinds of Disney ideas that could be pushed into the "intense" category (the mainstream Disney movies alone could provide a variety of options) so why did they go for making Mickey Mouse dark? o.o

How early 1950's Mickey resemble Shadow to anyone is a mystery to me.

How is this game exactly "going to far?" Because unless you haven't watched old Mickey cartoons or real his comics, then this so far looks more tame than dark. I mean if you want to see Mickey going to FAR?
... Go watch the entire run of House of Mouse!

Hmm?
*Google searches Shadow SA2 cutscene*
You mean you don't notice any resemblance to this in terms of appearance?
EDIT: And I don't know much about the history of the Mickey character, it's just that as far as I'm aware Mickey was typically presented as a primarily cutesy, cheerful character who encouraged others to be kind and friendly. If he's being presented in a darker light in this game (which seems apparent from his unusually grim-looking facial expression) then I'd hope there's a good explanation for it within the story. (Maybe he snaps after being severely tortured by some Disney villain?)
Well Mickey started out as mischievous and occasionally cruel and sadistic in his earliest appearances, but was gradually white-washed into the goody-two-shoes appearance he holds now. This lead to the creation of the cantankerous DONALUDO DAKKU to fill in the void.
Daffy Duck
I think you meant Donald, didn't you, TTG?
I meant precisely what I intended to say.
Dude... I reserved this not even expecting a special edition. All I can say is, SWEET! 8D
This game looks like an epic win. I think the mischevious scrapper side of Mickey is alot more appealing and entertaining then what's becoming of him now. Although, if Disney would like to reestablish that personality, then they need to ditch that one preschooler kiddie show "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse"
