Comcast's G4, a cable network aimed at young men, has hired Howard Stern's longtime girlfriend, actress Beth Ostrosky, to host irreverent countdown series "Filter" and recruited Fox Sports correspondent Olivia Munn to co-host pop culture news show "Attack of the Show."
Hires are part of the channel's evolution away from videogames into broader-based fare for guys.
....
In addition, both "Filter" and "Attack of the Show" will be relaunched in June with a scaled-back focus on technology. Heavier emphasis will be on attitude, humor and a broader range of male-oriented topics.

Jeez, as if the world needed another Spike TV. XP
all they need is UFC.
seriously, i haven't even thought about Filter in a long time. Diane mizota sure was hot though, i'm gonna miss her.
Diane! Is gone! I'm protesting. This is unheard of. Absurd! Geez G4 blows.
I was under the impression that G4 was a network about, oh, I don't know...GAMES. The only shows I ever watched were Icons, Anime Unleashed, Cinematech, and X-Play. And now X-Play's hour-long night slot has been replaced by Star Trek 2.0 (I don't frickin' CARE about a stupid SPOCK MARKET.). G4's continued evolution into an MTV/Spike TV (with the Whip Set, Barbed Wire Biscuit, the Man Show, and now this) channel is depressing. They barely show Anime Unleashed anymore (I liked Last Exile and Dai-Guard too.), and Cinematech's night cousin (Nocturnal Emissions. Har har, what a clever in-joke.) is just freaking weird.
I miss TechTV.
Oh well. At least Star Trek: The Next Generation's always on during dinner. Gives me something decent to watch.
G4 was always crap. Now they just want to be Spike TV, only they can never hope to achieve that level of greatness without MXC in their daily lineup.
Ahhh yes...MXC. I need to start back watching that.

I find it hilarious how much more serious the original, non-dubbed show is.

No, even the original Takeshi's Castle was a bit silly. MXC, however, is just... wow.
