Ahh Formula Front, Eggpire? Yea that game looks pretty nice, but isn't it like an RPG type thing. Turn-based and schick.

Nope. The original Japanese version (which I think sold like poo in Japan) was a thing where you customize the AC and then sit back and watch as you send it off to battle, as far as I'm aware. (yawn) However for the US release, Formula Front Extreme Battle, Agetec added in the option to make it playable. (go Agetec!) From Software rereleased this version (with some additional stuff, I think) in Japan as Formula Front International. Yay for Agetec making the game worth playing. :D

Hahah yea I Torn or so I did. My girlfriend, however; is german. =P Yea thats right you customized it then watched it battle, so it's not even as interactive as an RPG. lol I saw this game[International I believe] for sale at GameStop for a very discounted price.

I feel that it is a perfect adition for th AC family(even thoughit is kinda hard to see on the PSP)! I'm going to pick up AC:4 whenever I get the dough! God these new games are expensive!

Took a break from Forza 2 and went back to Guitar Hero II for a bit. I'm simultaneously thrilled and annoyed with it. Medium has been getting kind of easy, so I decided to try more of Hard mode. And I actually ended up making it much further than I ever expected I would, completing 45 of 48 songs. So I'm thrilled with that, because I never thought I'd ever get half that far in Hard mode. But I'm annoyed because after repeated failures, I'm seeing that there is no freaking possible way I will ever get past those last two songs (Carry Me Home and Institutionalized). >_< Even if I did beat those it's not like I'd probably ever complete Free Bird on Hard, but it's still annoying. Ah well.

I'm fairly satisfied with what I've been able to do there, so aside from multiplayer, that's probably it for GHII for now. I've since gone back to Forza 2, although for some crazy reason I haven't even started a career yet. When I first got the game I just started messing with the Arcade mode, so now I kind of want to finish up with that first before I move on. That mode doesn't look particularly long anyway, so it shouldn't take very long. And it helps for getting used to the cars and tracks.

And on a random 360 related note, I drug the system downstairs the other day because it was too darn hot up here. The TV down there, although it's certainly not an HDTV, does actually have component video inputs. So I went ahead and hooked it up there for the heck of it.

Wow. I was quite surprised to see what a different there is with the component cables, even on a standard definition TV. The color looks noticably better, and everything is much sharper and clearer. Some of the small text in Forza 2 and PGR3 is considerably easier to read as well.

Wish my TV had component inputs. >_>

Geez you guys ruin all the fun. Gyser's got it right. Laser + Homing does own everything. I knew it wasn't a secret but I always thought the chaser sucked so I avoided it at all costs. But it's when it's combined that it rocks all.

Lightning + Homing does not work well on level 5.

Yeah it does. A quick double jump and you've switched targets, if your refering to the laser getting stuck on the boxes while enemies have their way with you.

Besides, if you've got free shot, you should be moving at all times, so it's not an issue.

Well M. Bison stuck it to me on Level 5. Must say that Gunstar is just plain insane. Man...that series definetly should've been continued[excluding the GBA]. I guess today i'll continue with GH, get in some Blazing Lazers and maybe Super Star.

There are seven, total. You haven't even reached the HARD level yet, either; if you think Stage 5 is hard, you are going to CRY at Stage 6. You'll see why.

Unless you have Homing+Homing, in which case the odds are more even.

Just finished Case 3 of JFA...

And I just got totally wasted in The Twin Snakes... = The first guard killed me. I was having trouble getting the gun out lol... I gave up since the TV I was playing on was utter crap to begin with... I'll try it tonight on my PC =)

After giving up on TTS, I played some more Super Paper Mario... I'm on 4-3...

7! Seven! Siete! Sieben! VII! AHHH!!!! Sweetness. Well stage 2 was hell for me for the longest. lol The boss having 7 forms and all. Stage 6 of Super Star Soldier is hard as everything for me...it can't be as hard as that(although I haven't lasted longer than about 15 seconds on that level). I guess i've got my work cut out for me. =)

I've been playing Lumines 2! I never really did get into the Lumines craze until just lately, but damn is this game addictive. I wish I could brag about everything I got, but considering I got less than 5% it's kinda pointless!

I just finished playing sonic triple trouble on the game gear. I havn't gotten too far because I'm not used to the game gears screen anymore. I feel like my eyes are about to catch on fire! But it's rather fun. I love the second boss. It kind of reminds me of a mach speed areas on Sonic 2k6.

My sister got bored, so in a sort of impulse buy, we picked up a bunch of used Mario Parties for my Gamecube. So far, we like Mario Party 5 out of the rest.

I haven't been home to play much on my consoles lately so that is why I've playing the hell out of my PSP and DS. I recently picked up Dragonball Z: Shin Budokai because it was so cheap. I've actually been having quite a good time. It is a very balanced and somewhat deep fighting game which is fine with me!

Finished Digital Devil Saga 2. Going to play through a little on new game+ when I get a chance, just to wander through, immune to pretty much anything the starting enemies can throw at me. ^^

Going to play Devil Summoner next on PS2.

Playing FFVI Advance. Currently on the Floating Continent.

A bit of advice for Nocturne;

Where as stat-upping and stat-downing (Buffs and Debuffs) are fairly useless in most other RPGs, they can be quite vital to your success in Nocturne. Also, keeping Dekaja and Dekunda (The skills to get rid of all your opponents Buffs, and all your Debuffs) around for easy access is a must.

The 2nd Level 5 Boss on Super Star Soldier is upsetting me. The first time I made it to him[a few months ago] I wiped him out. Now I can harldy hit the guy. AHHH!!! Loving the game still. Just frustrated I haven't progressed past the first 20 seconds of level 6. =/

I gave up on Metal Gear Solid... Seems like it is a beautifully told story. I know I'm going to be missing out on a lot of great gameplay. I just don't like the sneaking around. I'm one of those 'Guns blazing, kill everything that moves' kinda guys. If the whole thing was first person, I'd probably managed it a little longer.

Anyways, I traded it in for Wii Play. My sibblings rented Mario Party 8. Seems decent. Wouldn't buy it, but it's decent enough.

I've been playing the Halo 3 beta pretty much nonstop the last couple days. But it's over now... Can't even view films anymore. :(

*cries in a corner*

Since I'm still in a Halo mood, I'm probably going to mess with Halo 2 online at least a little. I only really played that one online so I could get into Halo 3, so I'm not all that familiar with it. Might as well get some more use out of it. Who knows how long it'll keep me entertained after playing Halo 3, though.

Probably also going to play Halo PC online a bit as well, since I haven't been on in quite a while, and I still like that one quite a bit. (there are a few things about it that I still like better than Halo 2 & 3) I wish the melee attacks worked as well in that one as they do in 2 & 3, though.

And seeing as how I'm still in the mood for shooting things, I may pull out Gears of War again soon as well. Haven't played that one in a while.

I haven't really done much with Forza 2 yet either, but I'm not hugely in a racing mood at the moment, so I'll probably be taking a break from it at least for now.

Hahahha I love this Halo 3 then to Halo 2 trend everyone is following. Since the beta has ended I ca'nt tell you how many people i've heard of going back to H2. Anyway...I was playing Super Star Soldier last night and WHOA! I made it like...more than half way through level 6. That game just gets too crazy. It can't be beaten. I'm sorry no, it can't be. XP

I bought a 1600 microsoft points card. So I downloaded Contra, Double Dragon, and Gauntlet. So far I love all 3! I'm having a little trouble finding someone to play with on Double Dragon though.

After my bout of Poke-madness (beat the Elite Four in Diamond, but I got tired of the meta game so I started up FireRed and Emerald and played through both one after the other, concetrating only on the team I would use to tackle the Elite Four), I think I'm completely poked-out.

I've started Valkyrie Profile 2 over again after having left the game prematurely for Kingdom Hearts 2 (it's been a while). Probably for the best, I was a tad overleveled at the point I was in because I kept trying to farm materials for the shops instead of progressing the story.

Won't be doing that again.

Playing through case 4 of JFA. Only on the first day of trial.

Played a little Wii Play. I love TANKS! and that's about it.

Mario Party 8 was... okay, I guess?

I need me my Metroid Prime or possibly Mario Strikers... Something with a little more depth.

Deciding to finish off J4A's second playthrough after all these months, because I want to loan it out but don't want to go through Case 4's investigation again.

Also working on a Big Boss rank for MGS:TTS. GO GO KITTY STEALTH SHOES!

I bought Trauma Center and Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney the other day since they were both $20 cheaper.

Loving Trauma Center more right now. I think this is the first DS game I've ever truly enjoyed for more than 1 hour. If Second Opinion came out in PALstralia, I might consider buying a Wii at the end of the year.

Might!

You've been shopping at EB, haven't you? *Shake finger*

Recently been playing through Devil Summoner. Love it to bits. It's so different to the other recent RPG offerings from Atlus, yet still holds that charm. I <3 it.

Everyone gather around... here we have a rare specimen. Sprite here is enjoying Trauma Centre, which means that there has yet to be significant progress.

Observe how the subject's sanity will begin to collapse as the game's difficulty increases to "Even Asians think this is hard" level.

Yes, but how can anyone resist those mid yearly sales? I'll get onto that Play Asia bandwagon soon, once I set up Paypal or something.

Actually I didn't have too much trouble with the game until I got to chapter 5 which is pure evil. I'm stuck on the level with the worms at the moment. I could use an extra healing touch for this one. ;_;

Oh well it'll keep me busy until Megaman ZX comes out this week (almost a year after Japan... definitely time for Play Asia).
