Sin and Punishment.
Melon Bread is the tutorial guide. <3
Been playing halo 3 for about a week. Still as awesome as ever, but also going to see if my wal mart has gotten phantom hour glass tommarow!
Enjoying a little Sin and Punishment m/ Pretty awesome shooter.
Played some Halo 3 last night... I owned my little cousin in multiplayer... And he's the one who owns the 360. I haven't played H2 since last year
Gotta burn out the Sonic Rush Adventure before Phantom Hourglass arrives.
Time attaaaaaaaaaaaack!
Melon Bread....like that thing from the Dice Maze on Gunstar Heroes?Hahah!
Despite getting both in and Punishment and Graffiti Kingdom recently I've been hooked to Halo 3's online multiplayer.
I've also been keeping things in order in Animal Crossing again, but it's lost a lot of it's enjoyment after a year and a half of play...I need a new relaxing hand held game, preferably with online play...
I just finished up playing Kingdom Hearts 2. I was going to go ahead and try to get through Final Fantasy 12. But I have a problem. I think KH might have ruined my Final Fantasy 12 enjoyment.
Why? Well, I think the story and world that Final Fantasy 12 takes place in is great. But I am really struggling going from the fighting system in KH to the Final Fantasy 12 fight system. KH is just so much more engaging in that respects. I almost feel bored fighting monsters in Final Fantasy 12.
I got Phantom Hourglass yesterday. I havn't played it much, so I'll do that right now. The only thing so far that I don't like to much is the fighting. I just need to practice a little though; should be good soon.
Edit:
Boomerang is AWESOME!
Sin and Punishment seems crazy hard. I don't think the GC controller is cutting it though... I need to buy a Classic.
The Story is hard to follow, especially since none of the subtitles are in english... and none of the mouths move... All I know is I'm controlling Saki... and something weird happened after the rooftop battle >>
Got Phantom Hourglass today, haven't played it yet due to work, but I'll rememdy that soon.
Sin and Punishment some more. Man, this plot really DOESN'T make any sense. There's one scene where you take out tons of battleships and fighter jets all while inexplicably flying on a giant slab of rock. Imagine "A Whole New World" from Aladdin for a moment. Now imagine it in broad daylight out in the oceans with enemy fire coming from all directions, from aerial fighters, from giant battleships, and from mutant seamen who jump onto your carpet. Also imagine that your carpet is made of concrete. It's kind of like that.
Also, since CPS3 emulation is more or less perfect now, I've been playing a LOT of Street Fighter 3 recently. Started with Second Impact since that was what was in my university's arcade (and, despite some rotation of the arcade cabinets - House of the Dead 4 came back, for instance - still IS in my university's arcade), but I've since found I far prefer Third Strike. Gill's a pain. Did I mention that Gill's a pain? I think I did in some unrelated topic... yeah, he's impossible. If you thought M. Bison was impossible, this blue/red freak will give that guy a run for his money.
lol, indeed. I just finished that level...
I really want to give the co-op mode a try. I have a hard time moving and aiming at the same time...
I'm also worried about the continues. If I run out, do I have to restart the game? If so, laaaaaaame
SH, you are aware you can smack Gill good and hard when he does his ressurection, right?
Been playing SRA, Tekken 5 and Guilty Gear AC since it came out FINALLY. Time to learn Ky/Millia and beat down people.

Very aware. The problem lies with getting the fight to the point that he HAS to resurrect; generally I'm down for the count before that point.
I've found that being a bit more... physical with him seems to help. Earlier I was being a bit more defensive, and that tended to, well, not work - but being offensive, while still yielding a high failure rate, tends to be more reliable.
Finished RE3: Nemesis. Great game, favourite of the series so far.
I've started RE: Outbreak following this, and from a few minutes playtime already, I have to say it's quite... wierd. Controls feel wierd, and moving in particular feels very clunky. I dunno, I'll have to give it a proper playtest before I give any verdict on it.
My best suggestion is to learn the parry system well...I can't remember how I beat him...or mixup him up. That should screw him over...
Yea...sorry, I remember beating him on my first try but I've been playing SF for years now and find the computers easy to beat...humans on the other hand...
W00t and yay for sin and punishment! I got this game via eBay a few years ago. Its freaking awesome action and once you get the controls down, they become an extension of yourself and you stop even realizing that you are holding a controller. I love it and its great news that it finally becoming available to a wider audience.
And the plot whack as crap. An army runs the world that employs all manner of mutants and monsters. Also a genetically altered food source called 'ruffians' is swarming all over the place. And one of your guys turns into a giant robot...and then you go into the past...ummmm
I got my Christmas present, and I'm just making sure it works.
360 Elite.
I've also made a vow that I won't play any game I will enjoy until Christmas.
So of course, I'm playing Sonic The Hedgehog.
Needless to say, I've been playing Halo 3 ever since it came out. I haven't had a need, desire or want to play another game.
laaame... I was playing Yoshi's Island GBA... Made it to world 3, was 8 pts from 100% on World 1... and I reset my game =
SH, I concur...Gill is a punk. Seriouly. I've only beaten him a few times. Who do you use mostly? His brother is mighty powerful and once you get used to using him, you can wreck some killer damage pretty easily. Although...it's bene ages since i've played SFA[considering I let a friend borrow it and still haven't gotten it back yet].
As for me...i'm still playing my VC games[R-Type, LoZ, Gradius, Super Star Soldier, etc] but a friend of mine bought the Lego Star Wars games and we've been playing them. Co-op modes rock!
I'm excited for the Wii's version of The Complete Trilogy... Might have to convince mom and dad to get that for my little brother for Christmas.... Then I'll... uh... 'test' it for him
I'm playing Metroid Prime, seems pretty cool so far.
Finished playing Resident Evil Zero and its a criminally underated game. The item system was fairly clunky but worked alright and the partner puzzles were awesome. Also, revisiting (or should it be previsiting?) areas in Resident Evil 2 was so full of win.
<3 Rebecca. She kills a Proto Tyrant with just a handgun m/ (yet can die by just a Hunter in the REmake... o.o)
I'm undecided on which game to go onto next... either Jill mode for the REmake or play Code Veronica X. Hmm...
Just got to world 4 on Yoshi's Island. Hopefully tomorrow I will be playing some Drawn to Life, Yoshi's Island DS, and Brain Age 2
Mmmmmmm, I forgot how fun it is to play Advance Wars. I'm also finishing up Trials and Tribulations and playing alooooot of Halo 3 at my friend's house =D
Fatal Fury!
Produced by SNK.
Hoping to get through more of Halo 3's co-op campaign on Legendary soon, but I don't know when it'll be happening for sure. In the mean time I've been messing with the XBLA version of Sonic 1 (got the Spring Yard theme stuck in my head again) and the first Splinter Cell for Xbox.
I've been borrowing that one from someone for a while now, but I just got around to trying it yesterday. And I'm finding it to be really freaking fun. Based on my hatred for stealth-related stuff in other games, I didn't think I'd have any interest in this series. But it's turned out to be a lot more fun and entertaining than I expected. Since you can get most of them dirt cheap now (and they're all compatible with the 360), I'm most likely planning to pick up the Xbox versions of these games in the near future. If I can, I'll probably end up getting both the Xbox and 360 versions of Double Agent as well, since they're apparently quite different (but both good) from what I've read. (and the Xbox version was added to the 360's compatibility list not too long ago) Yay.
Got up to world 5 of Yoshi's Island... and have now switched to Advance Wars... I like it actually. I've never considered myself a strategy fan, but this game is fun.
With the exception of trying to finish Halo 3's Legendary campaign and probably trying to complete Sonic 1 on the 360, I'll likely be playing the Splinter Cell series for a while. I just bought the entire series for Xbox (SC, Pandora Tomorrow, Chaos Theory, & Double Agent), along with Double Agent for 360, and everything combined cost me less than the price of a new 360 game. Sweet.
Shenmue. I'm finally progressing in this game. I gotta find Charlie! XP
Still playing Persona 3. I'm logged at over 100 hours of game time. And it appears I'm nearing endgame now. Won't be long before I can finally put this game aside and dwelve into .hack//G.U....
(Meanwhile...)
It would seem a flub on the part of one of the VAs for the english version of P3 had basically confirmed that Atlus was in the process of localizing FES, before it was taken down from his website. Expect an official announcment from Atlus soon.
Playing LoZ: Phantom Hourglass... My only complain so far is I WANT TO USE THE DAMNED D-PAD!!1!!1!
Other than that, the game is beautiful <3
Funny, but I have yet to play any Splinter Cell since I bought the series because whenever I've had free time, I've mostly been playing Halo 3. (along with finishing Sonic 1 [XBLA]) Just finished Legendary though, so aside from some occasional online tinkering, I'm going on a Splinter Cell marathon.
Just got done with Shemue. Finished Disc 2...i'm on 3 now. I love this game.
I just got back from a round of Halo 3 at my friend's house, and it was probably the best I've ever played. =D I've also been playing Advance Wars: Dual Strike a lot. I've finally beaten Mission 24 (it's taken me about a year to do =/) and I'll end up beating Mission 25 (Ring of Fire) tonight. I want to beat the game so baad.

It's trying at first, but eventually you'll get use to it. Some of the weapons are fun via stylus (especially the hammer, gotta love it). I recently beat the game and enjoyed every bit of it (except the Hourglass challenge cuz' I hate sneaking around in video games).
Linebeck is the best character ever.
Oh, man I hate Linebeck. But so far I just beat that one windy island (forgot the name) and so far really enjoying the game. Just Halo 3 has had me destracted most of the time.
My brother got Singstar.
...Apparently according to that, I'm good enough to be "lead singer".
...I lied. I can't pull myself away from Halo 3. >_> Got the last of the skulls, and am now trying to get the last few achievements that I think I have a chance of getting. I came so freaking infuriatingly close to getting an Overkill in ranked FFA today. And that's one I realistically never expect to get. But having it dangled in front of me like that makes me cranky. >_<
Hahaha, Zero, Zero, Zero. I'm stuck on Soul Calibur. So, so good. And Shenmue...i'm scared to finish it, because I don't have II and I don't know anywhere besides the internet that'll have it. Oh and Zero...any word on a new AC?
Not that I've heard of. Someone asked that same question over at Agetec recently:
p207.ezboard.com/fagetecf...7425.topic
Although not directly related to your question, Valk's comments about Sega's handling of things are an interesting read. Kind of makes me wonder how Armored Core's future in the US will turn out if From Software does make another game in the series (don't see why they wouldn't, as popular as the game is in Japan).
I miss Agetec.
Still playing Phantom Hourglass... Getting the last metal right now... It seems decent. Vast improvement over WW.
My brother brought a new PlayStation 2 for God knows what reason.
So now I've been playing SingStar against my family - totally kicking their asses. And I decided to give Final Fantasy 12 another go, because I stopped because I couldn't beat this one boss. But I did on the first try this time around, which is odd.
SOCOM: Combined Forces (PS2)
Freedom Fighters (PS2)
Rented them both out of boredom.
Ha...yea Zero I see. Interesting indeed. I really need a system that plays AC4. The demo drove me to near ecstasy. Recently i've been playing my roommates PS2 alot. Been playing AC:Nexus[just need 3 more S's and i'll have 100% yay!] and SSX. I've really missed SSX. That game seriously has to be one of the greatest launch titles ever[and going by IGN it is...comes in at 10].
Playing Fire Emblem for the first time, and I'm enjoying it. I've also been playing Halo 3 at my friend's house, but for some reason I keep getting worse and worse (I think I had like 2 kills in one match ='(). Also, I've been trying to beat AWDS once and for all, and I've never noticed, but I really suck at Advance Wars.

I really need a 360 [to play] AC4.
Fix'd!
*killed repeatedly*
As for Halo 3, I've noticed my performance seems to vary greatly. Some days I do really well, and others I can't seem to do anything. I had the weird problem the other day where I kept starting out poorly, but managed to pick up later in the match. (which made for a couple intense comeback wins )
I've also noticed things can vary depending on who I'm playing with. I was playing with one person yesterday who was of a comparable rank/skill level, and we won most of the matches we played. Then we got a couple more people in our party who were of a noticeably higher rank, and we got destroyed in every match after that. heh. >_< I think part of the issue is that you have to fight against higher ranked people than you normally would when you have higher ranked people in your party. So sometimes you're almost better off playing with people closer to your rank. I played Social Doubles with someone whose highest skill is 48, and just felt completely useless most of the time because we were being put up against other people in the 40s. At the time, my highest skill was a 10.
So needless to say, after last night I think I'm taking a little Halo break, haha. Finally went back to Splinter Cell. Which is still awesome.
okay, so I just finished Phantom Hourglass. Very impressive for a DS game. 2nd favorite Handheld Zelda.... First is and always will be Link's Awakening.
Spoilers (Select To Read): lol, was I the only one to go OMFG WIND FISH!!!1!11! at the end? Although one thing about the ending confused the heck out of me. That would be Linebeck... Wasn't he a part of the dream world as well? He had to have been, seeing as his lover was... Then how did he return to the real world?
Right now I'm just playing some Final Fantasy XII. Completed Zelda Twilight Princess awhile back and Call of Duty 2 awhile back aswell. Also playing the Wind Waker again, just for the hell of it.
