*playing shadow, falling off platforms, basking in the angst*
Been awhile since I posted here, but I was playing Guild Wars all summer up until a month or two ago. That one just kinda got old. Then I played Lineage II a free, high-rate server, which was fun since you could get level 80 in a day. But that got boring quick. So now I'm playing the Battlefield 2 demo in preparation for the possibility that I get it for Christmas. Next on my list to play is Call of Duty 2, once I finally go out and buy it.
(Is being impressed by Resi 4)
Yeah, really. It's actually extremely good....
Though the giant guys are a teensy bit hard.
I'd made it up to #5 on the Blacklist in NFS:Most Wanted a few days ago, but I've since kinda of taken a break from it, partly due to being sick and not doing much besides sitting around watching Star Wars DVDs. Planning to get back to NFS soon, but as for right now, due to a strange fit of randomness, I've found myself playing Mega Man 6. Still definitely my favorite game in the classic series, even though it's a bit easy.
Currently playing Mario Kart: Super Circuit. (Still having trouble with getting a triple star ranking. ><) 150 cc Grand Prix is so awesome in this game. I'm getting ready to play people over WiFi when I get MKDS.
I headed towards my GameCube a couple days ago with every intention of continuing where I'd left off in NFS Most Wanted... and for some reason found myself putting in the Zelda Collector's disc and playing Zelda II. Probably had something to do with recently re-reading the entire Zelda Comic archive. As of currently, I still haven't gotten around to playing more NFS. Me loves Zelda II. Still my second favorite game in the series by far (with Ocarina of Time coming in first). It's also reminded me why it was well worth it to purchase a Hori digital controller a while back, even though I only have two or three games to use it with. I'd go insane if I had to play this (or Zelda I) with the normal GC controller's d-pad.
I've recently loaded up my GP32 with a bunch of SNES roms and playing some old school games I missed the first time around, and reliving some of my old favorites. Playing Super Mario World, Castlevania IV, Zoop, and the original Harvest Moon at the Moment.
I've been playing(and am playing) Sonic Advance 3 on my DS trying to get the last Chaos Emerald and beat the game before I get Sonic Rush for Christmas. If I beat it before I get Rush, I might play some Super Mario 64 DS and maybe some Sonic Gems or X-Men Legends 2 on my 'Cube.
Star Wars: Battlefront II
^___________________^
Two games i'm always playing: MechWarrior4 Mercenaries (In league) and Gran Turismo 4 (Might be the best game ever.) For games I play for a month and then move on, Sim City 4 Deluxe and Star Wars Battlefront II.
Me is playing Doom 3! Even though I beat it several times, it still scares the hell out of me!
I've also got Zelda The Misih Cap in my DS, and I'm waiting eagely for Prince of Persia Two Thrones!
I've been playing Psychonauts(Xbox version). It's quite a hilarious and fun platformer that is horribly underrated.
Made it up to the Great Palace in Zelda II... heh. Think I'll be taking a break from that one for a while. Hearing about the end of Working Designs has put me in the mood for it, so I'm off the play some RayStorm again (and most likely RayCrisis after that).
Right now, I've been balancing my time between the original Unreal (it's the classic Unreal, it instantly wins) Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls (hey, as much of a Fire Emblem fan as I am, it'd be nice to have a different game in the GBA for once), and of course, Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance (Ninja-like assassians, dragon-riding pirates, and drunk snipers. what more could you ask for?)
Now I'm juggling between Earthbound and Seiken Densetsu 3.
I'm thinking about having a mech day today. Like some Armored Core 3 & Nexus, VOOT, and ZOE. So at any point during the day there's a good chance i'm playing one of them.
Alternating between Zelda II and RayStorm. Thinking many many many many many not-so-nice things about the Great Palace and that friggin' evil game over screen that TAUNTS me... >_<!! heh. I've actually managed to get to Dark Link, but by the time I made it there I had no remaining lives, no magic, and hardly any life left. Didn't even get one hit in before he killed me. Insert evil taunting Ganon laugh here. Yay, I suck.
*makes an impolite gesture at the TV*
And yet I continue. "> I'll probably go back to RayStorm for a little bit after my next inevitable FAILURE. *twitch*
Speaking of which, I've just recently noticed that RayStorm looks quite awesome when emulated on a PC.
EDIT: HA. HAHAHAHAHAHA. HAAAAAAAAAAA. YAY. I just realized something. Selecting Continue after beating Thunderbird means you don't have to fight him again. It's just straight on to Dark Link. Had no idea. Which resulted in successfully beating him with a life to spare. "> Yay, now I don't feel like I suck quite as much.
*happy freakin' dance*
Of course, now I've got the urge to dig out ye olde NES cartridge of Zelda II, just so I can say I've completed it there... Hopefully my save file is still there...
I guess that's enough Zelda II ranting, heh... As for now, it's off to RayStorm.
Played some VOOT earlier, now i'm stuck on ZOE. Insane. I don't know why I stopped playing this game. It's been over 2 years, but it rocks. Hideo Kojima is my new daddy. ^_^
Back into Phantasy Star Online for the Cube.
Leveling up, and looking for some nice Rares.
Kingdom Hearts Expert Mode + Sporadic playings of Mario Kart Super Circuit + Sonic Advance 3 = Pure Bliss.
Mario Kart DS, Sonic Rush, LOZ:MM, and Shenmue2! I've also played a bit of Fable here and there as well as some KOTOR!
RE4((Gamecube))
Shadow of the Colossus
Resident Evil Outbreak File #2((WITH GAME SHARK BOOOYA))
After years of trial, torment, error, forgetting, and laziness, I have finally beaten the original LoZ. Yay.
I play alot of Mario Kart DS, unlocked everyone, everything, all the courses, beat everything.
Animal Crossing Wild World. Fun if you give it a try.
Super Smash Bros Melee. Nuff Said.
Since my friend can't find his copy of Shenmue, i'm playing VOOT. Perfecting my skills with Raiden and his selective firing capabilities. Ahhhh....fantasy mech combat is the best.
Finally gotten back to playing Need for Speed Most Wanted (GC), along with a few short random fits of nostalgia with my copy of Super Mario Bros. Deluxe (GameBoy Color).
FOr some strange reason I've been playing nothing but Megaman games lately! Right now I'm playing MMX:Command Mission, MMBN3 Blue. Every now and then I play Megaman 7, and Megaman Legends!
Shadow the Hedgehog *shudders*
Currently messing around with LoZ: Ocarina of Time a bit. Comparing the N64 and GameCube versions, and noticing I'd forgotten just how much better it looks on the GC. And just how much I hate the N64 controller. >_<
Well, I've rented Billy Hatcher to see if I wanted to get it. So, I've been playing it, and have quite enjoyed myself doing so!
At the mo' I'm playing a combination of *deep breath*:
Burnout Revenge (PS2)
Shadow The Hedgehog (PS2 and it rocks!)
Skie Of Arcadia Legends (GC)
Resident Evil (GC remake)
Command and Conquer Generals (PC)
And lastly good old Earthbound on my ancient SNES that SOMEHOW is still working.
Well I've been playing Pro Evolution Soccer 5 lately.
When its christmas though,I will be playing on Pro Evo 5,Shadow The Hedgehog and Grand Theft Auto:Liberty City Stories.
Hoping Armored Core Ninebreaker is under the tree, i'm trying to see how much of this last 4% on nexus I can get before morning. =P
Resident Evil 4, greeaaat game. The only scary part is the alien that looks like an alien from Aliens, which basically scared the s**t out of me.
Great game. Blastin' some Dre or Rage and unloadin' on some italian.. zombie.. things.
Ummm... trying to play Madden '06 onlnie but it freezes like crazy. It's clipping more than those early pictures of Shadow we saw. >>
Well I got Myst V so I guess I'll end up playing that until its beat.
Soul Calibur III, unlocking lots of stuff.
Right now it is Mario and Luigi 2:Partners in Time which was a Xmas gift.
Half-Life 2 (when time allows) and Metroid Prime.
I never actually beat Metroid Prime, or have even gotten out of the temple until a few days ago.
...And I've only had it for 6 monthes or so. =P
I've been playing Animal Crossing: Wild World. My friend code is 223400127146. Anyone else wanna share theirs?
Unfortunately I didn't get AC:WW, but I did get Mario Kart DS and i'll be playing that for oh about another 1,000,000,000 hours. ^.^
Sonic Gems Collection. Imported, as I swore up and down I'd do. I just finished unlocking all the games today - I'd unlocked Vectorman 2 yesterday, so I must admit, I'm sorely unimpressed with how long it would've taken me to unlock all the games in the US version. Good thing I have Bonanza Bros. and all three Bare Knuckle games to seal the deal!
At the moment I'm obsessed with Ratchet: Deadlocked. It's pretty different from the previous games in the series, but I still think it's the best one yet.
Well, I've had a pretty good run with Shadow tonight(Monday) and almost beat the pure good route. I got it for Christmas and I've been having a blast with it despite what most think about it I think it's an awesome game. I've also been playing some Sonic Rush(which I got for Christmas as well), and enjoying it, as well as Sonic Advance 3; although, I will be playing Shadow more so you may be seeing less of me than usual!^_^
Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones kicks ASS! I got it Christmas and I love it! I'm also playing NFS: Most Wanted which I also got for Christmas, and some MK: Shaolin Monks! In my DS I have Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow, and MMBN5!
Just spent about 3 or 4 straight hours on VOOT, finally unlocking Alpha Raiden. So sweet, so sweet.
i'm playing through FF7, finally working out the reasons behind jokes in various gaming comics and giggling randomly at renaming aeris to iris.
cloud looks cute as a girl. oo
Playing Kart DS trying/failing to get the gold in special cup 150cc* |
Basically what ColdHeart is doing...except in the 100cc. >_<
Unreal Championship 2! Also LOZ:OoT!
Haven't had a chance to play a lot, but when I have, I've been playing Medal of Honor European Assault (GC). Haven't done much with it yet, but I'm loving it so far.
