Battlefield 2 (just a few games here and there) and Call of Duty 2 multiplayer hardcore. That game rocks.
Lets see in the last week I've played:
Kirby's Adventure(Nes emulator on GP32)
R-type 3(SNES emulator on GP32)
Shadowgate(NES emulator on GP32)
Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages(GBC Emulator on GP32)
Ms. Pac-man Maze Madness(GBA)
Ms. Pac-man(SNES emulator on GP32)
Tetris(GP32 and VBA)
In other words: I've been logging some serious hours on old school games via my Gamepark 32.
The pinball game that comes with Windows. Using an Xbox 360 controller. Also just played a game of RayStorm on the PC with said controller. Me loves this controller. I'll never use another PC controller on my XP system again. Once I tire of pinball I'll most likely play through Mega Man X4 again on the PC, and then probably go back to Medal of Honor Eurpoean Assault (GC).
Classic NES series: Dr. Mario. Would be playing Shadow the Hedgehog, Megaman Zero 4, Zatch Bell! for Gamecube, and Goldeneye if they weren't all else where (one on loan to a friend, three at a cousins.)
Really need to get some Melee in; there's a tourney a month away, and I'm seriously out of practice. Oh well, I'm bottom tier for life!
Madden 06. It's so great.
I am currently playing...
The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons
The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages
We ♥ Katamari
I just bought Oracle of Ages and Seasons yesterday for only 10 dollars each.
Resident evil 4. very fun, just killed saddler.
Phantasy Star Online GC, at least until I get my PS2 memory card back off my girl-friend, then I plan to play through Devil May Cry 1, 2 (against my better judgement) and 3 again, with brand new saves.
Got myself a new PS2 over Xmas, so been catching up on my old games, namely SmackDown! Here Comes the Pain, Final Fantasy X, and Romance of the Three Kingdoms VIII. I haven't touched my XBox in ages. o_o I'm so ashamed. ;_;
But yeah, planning on borrowing a friend's copy of Star Ocean: Til the End of Time, thinking about buying Devil May Cry 3, and borrowing The Warriors.
Madden 05 ps2 online
Everyone's a meanie =(
Dude on Madden 06 I was gettuing slaughtered because of that dang QB vision, but now I don't think i'll lose a game...ever again. =) Oh and to stay on topic still freakin' Madden 06...on about a 7 or 8 game winning streak. ^.^
I turned QB vision off after three passes (or pass attempts, heh), and haven't messed with it since. Which basically makes it Madden 2005 with updated rosters, but I'm still glad I bought it since I wanted the updated rosters and I've found that I prefer the GameCube controller for Madden. (I have 2005 for PS2)
Anyway, I've been uh, "testing" the PC version of Need for Speed Most Wanted. >_> Plays great with the Xbox 360 gamepad (so long as you're using the XBCD drivers), and is a bigger graphical improvement over the console versions that I realized. I was rather surprised by the difference when I compared it directly to the GC version I own (which still looks pretty nice itself). I'm liking it enough that I'm toying with the idea of buying the PC version even though I already have it for GC (and I still like that version). Also nice that this controller has a nine foot cord, as it allows me to play the game through my TV and pretend that I have an Xbox 360.
Not sure what I'll be playing next. There are too many games I'm in the mood for at the moment and I can't decide what to play. It'll probably either be more NFSMW, or Mario Sunshine, since I haven't done much with that yet.
having finished FF7 today, i finally get what the heck is going on in advent children. oo
i will now tackle megaman x 5 and 6!
WWE SMackdown V Raw 06, Shadow and a little bit of Resi 4.
Burnout 3: Takedown, and MK: Shaolin Monks! Love 'em both!
Yea that QB Vision used to be a pain. Once you get it though, you got it. ^_^
I'm currently trying to beat the Boss Rush mode on Ristar. But I keep losing to that blasted Awaueck.
I just bought Final Fantasy IV Advance a week ago and have invested about 20+ hours into it...I'm trying to power up all my characters before taking on the final bosses...go RPGs!
7th run through with Shadow. =)
Hahaha @ Rico. Everquest II nice. I'm gonna try to start and finish my 9th run through of ShtH. The game has me hooked like a fish.
Need For Speed: Most Wanted.
Currently 13th on the Black List, and aiming for 12th.
Super Shadow. *shot*
I got my brother Mario Kart DS for his birthday. So, naturally, I wasted no time in hijacking his DS and trying this online play out. I got to race 2P against some guy called "lukers", who pretty much creamed me overall. But hey, I had some fun, and some of those finishes were very close...
Other than that, I beat Bare Knuckle III again for the heck of it. Forgot to unlock Ash, but I got Shiva this time, and... man, playing as him is fun, and his run is AWESOME. I really need to finish the game as Axel, though, instead of relying on Ash/Shiva to finish the job.
I just beat Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time(Enjoyable game, but it could have used more secrets, non-liner and be a bit longer).
Right now, I'm into Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow and will probably play some Psychonauts soon.
Ive gotten back into Fianl Fantasy III (VI for you PSX people), and Morrowind for X-Box.
Played some Burnout Revenge (PS2) at my brother's recently. Seemed alright, better than Burnout 3, but I still don't care for the series much. Or at least, it seemed alright until my car clipped through the road and fell out the bottom of the track. Other than that it was decent enough that I might consider picking it up some time after it's dirt cheap, but not any time soon. Either that or I might wait for the 360 version, which would be even longer off since I won't have a 360 for quite some time.
As for now, I'm off to watch the Steelers game (go Steelers! ), but I'll probably play a little Need for Speed Most Wanted during halftime.
For a reason I don't know why I'm trying to get all of the movie sets in Shadow the Hedgehog. I only 50 more to go!
Say, Eggy, just wondering, have you beaten final story yet or are you planning on getting the other 50 movie sets before you beat final story?
Trying to beat the pirates in Sly 3.. its like level 4 or somthing.. really hard.
You've got 276 movies? you have patience of a god. I get angry with the dispose all of the small bombs mission in central city and you...cor! Also playing Shadow, Smackdown V Raw 06. Bloodying John Cena muhahahahahaha
Playing Mario Sunshine has put me in the mood to play Mario 64 again, so I'm alternating between the two (M64 at the moment). Mario Sunshine is decent so far (although it's voice acting and storyline make me want to set fire to my GameCube), but I still like Mario 64 best, despite it's camera being a bit more annoying than I remembered.
I'm now down to 27 movies. I've pretty much memorized all of the levels down to the fianl detail, and I'm going crazy trying to figure out which path I haven't took, and which paths I haven't finished in both good and bad endings! And yes I have beaten the fianl story!
When I'm on the road I'm usally playing Castlevania Dawn of sorrow!
Playing DreamCast due to PS2 laser assembly going on extended vacation. And it was a Sony DRE free replacement, too!
I miss DQ8 already. ;-;
Currently alternating between Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver and Soul Calibur (Hmm... soooouls). FFIV Advance in mah DS... can I get a w00t! for the Lunar Ruins? Talk about replay value, I'm Lovin' It!
Now, about that lag...
Now that I almost beat Shadow, I'm gonna play some Ultimate Spider-Man and probably mix some(or alot ) of Shadow into that game time.
I just spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to do this in Mario 64, only to find out after finally succeeding that Yoshi isn't even there unless you have 120 stars, meaning all you get for your trouble is a wing cap and three lousy mushrooms. BLARG.
So it's back to Mario Sunshine for now, during which I will be grumbling excessively over GameStop not having the Mega Man X Collection until Friday or as late as Monday, meaning I'm going to have to wait around for an online order instead. >_<
Little bits of;
Need For Speed Most Wanted (PS2)
Untold Legends (PSP)
Phantasy Star Online (Gamecube)
Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne (PS2)
Final Fantasy 6 (A la Final Fantasy Anthologies) (PS1 (On PS2))
Tetris- Cell Phone- OH NOES! ADDICTION!
Dance Dance Revolution Extreme 2- PS2
Animal Crossing: Wild World- DS
Getting MegaMan X Collection sometime... Not sure which system...
Got stuck on a boos on Castlevania oS so I'm playing Psychonauts(Xbox version) which is one of the best platformers I've played this gen. And you guys should get it too because if you don't then you are missing out on a very enjoyable experience. Trust me.

Ooohh, I would like to get it because I saw it on Cheat on G4 and it seemed cool; unfortunatly, though, I only have a GameCube and as I'm sure you know, there is no GC version. If I get a 360 or PS3, this gen, I may get it then but until then or it comes out for the GC, I just have to play Shadow and Ultimate Spidey.
There's a PC version. Just hope you can actually FIND it.
I don't know if this is accurate or not, but the page for it at GameSpot seems to suggest that the PC version doesn't come out in the US until Feb 10, 2006.
www.gamespot.com/pc/actio...index.html
But then I just noticed that you can order it (relatively cheap) from Amazon.com, so who knows why they list that date.
Sounds like something I might look into eventually, since i haven't had any decent 3D platformers in years aside from Mario, and playing Mario 64 and Sunshine lately has reminded me how much I like that type of game. The PC version is probably what I'd need to get though, since I don't have an Xbox, and I don't really want to buy anything for PS2. Both the PC and Xbox versions look considerably better than the PS2 version from the screenshots I've seen anyway, plus I've read that PC version plays pretty much the same as the Xbox version when using an Xbox 360 controller, so that'd be nice.
I don't even know if this is something I'd like though, maybe I should try out the demo...
Well that's just weird, because I definitely saw copies of the game at the store LAST year.
About the game, Psychonauts(Xbox) is not compatible with the Xbox 360 so if you get the Xbox version you can only use a Xbox(shouldn't they be cheap anyway?). Also, I've seen the game at Ebgames at $40 for the Xbox version and I think Target has the PS2 version for around under $30(maybe to clear out invetory). Next, I heard the demo's bland--I just got the full game since I heard great things about it and the level design is out of sight.
Dancing Stage Fever.
I lost my soul when I lost my heart. Forgive me ;.;

(Is still waiting for UK release, due Feb)
I think I'll get the PS2 version, for obvious reasons... but I've had my eye on the game for months.

Yeah, I figured that since I know that the 360 is not completely backwards compatable with Xbox games, but I thought I heard on Attack of the Show that you could download a patch that allowed any XB game to be played on the 360.
Just finished playing the Psychonauts demo, which was pretty interesting/unusual/strange... All in a good way. Ran fine, looks great, and played nicely on my system as well. Seems like it'd be a pretty fun game, and considering that the PC version doesn't cost much, I think I will most likely go ahead and order it soon.
Anyway, I'm probably going to play through that demo once more, then go back to Mario Sunshine. See if I can keep from chucking the controller at my TV during some of those "secret" levels.
You know the secret levels were the best part of SMS, but it would have been less frustrating if they hadn't got rid of the long jump.
And Rayzor I think they were refering to how MS would work on emulation software that is downloaded via Live for non-BC Xbox games to run on X360. I doubt that they would bother fixing that up with a game that bombed as horribly as Psychonauts. =(

Exactly! I've reeeeaally been missing the long jump... >_< I have liked several of those secret levels, but there are a few that have come close to causing there to be a controller-shaped dent in the wall...

I wonder why that is? Pretty much every review or comment I've read about it has been good, so it seems kind of odd that it's done so poorly. Even GameSpot made some comment about it doing a lot worse than it should have.
As for the Xbox 360, I thought I read somewhere that they were eventually planning to try to get just about everything working, so it might be a possibility. They're probably putting priority on more popular games though.
