Just defeated Tales of Symphonia 2 and am ready for my next challenge. Thinking of going back to revisit Metal Gear Solid while I wait on No More Heroes 2 and Ace Attorney Investigations.

After that, nothing much to look forward to. I guess Lunar re-re-re-remake and Birth By Sleep, but that's about it. I hate boring season.

Finally put the final nail in the coffin and put Crisis Core and Sonic Chronicles on the shelf. They bore me, and I have no desire to finish them. Also pretty much sick of trying to collect all of the coins in New Super Mario Bros. Wii.

I think the next game I'll tackle on my backlog of games is Dragon Quest IV, followed by Dragon Quest V.

Shamefully, I have known Earthbound for maybe 12+ years, but have never played it...until now.

Bayonetta. Its like watching an anime version of the animated bits of Monty Python. Only with less boobs.

Also its really, really good.

Finished my second playthrough of Dragon Age Origins. Gave my life at the end this time. Now to put the game to rest until the expansion comes out and on to Mass Effect 2 when that comes out!

I've got 3 more chapters left of Bayonetta. Definitely enjoying the game, although I doubt I'll go and play it on anything higher than easy.

EDIT: Beat it. Awesome ending . Might try my hand at a higher difficulty, but that's it. Working on Platnium right now, building up for SoulSilver in March.

The new Assassin's Creed II DLC comes out this week, so I should be spending 3-4 hours on that. I'll probably join my buddy for some Borderlands co-op.

It's worth playing the hard difficulties.  UNLOCKABLES ALL UP INS

In fact, I'd be playing right now if my 360 hadn't turned into a paperweight with 3 flashing red lights!

Because of this, I raged into MS Paint and this is what I got.

Not so much 'love' as it is 'a veritable treasure trove of hilariously douchey facial expressions'.

As for the 'what am I playing now?' question, I'm switching up between Team Fortress 2 and Audiosurf.

Man Lightning Look-Out is a royal pain. It irritates me I have to go back and complete the bonus levels. Oh and Koindozer Barrage (Or whatever it's called)...that level can go burn too. I've got so many SNES games that I played and then quit playing once I got near the end...need to go finish them all.

Actually a lot of stuff.

Still working on Platinum, going to Eternia City right now.

Played some MW2 multi... getting slightly better... or maybe just lucky.

Actually got a buddy of mine to play Borderlands... He might be getting the game to own, as he was having a blast playing it. One of his buddies dropped in and unloaded a bunch of awesome weapons (possibly some modded ones ).

Going to be starting on the Assassin's Creed II DLC here in a minute. Looks to be pretty good =D EDIT:... looks can be deceiving... Although it was only $4, that had to be the shortest DLC ever... and it didn't even announce it was over >=(

Finished Final Fantasy II the other day after slugging through the incomprehensible level up system, but overall it was enjoyable. Continuing onto Final Fantasy III now on the DS, and playing a bit of Star Ocean whenever I feel like a break. It's all about the RPGs at the moment.

No More Heroes 2 just arrived in my mail, playing this now. :3

I've also been playing Fire Emblem Sword of Seals (a.k.a. The Sealed Sword, a.k.a. The Binding Blade) again. Finishing up the first Western Isle battle, so far I've lost Dieck to Arena Abuse and Wendy to a Myrmidon w/ Armorslayer. But I've resolved to continue the campaign against Bern, no matter how many of my compatriots fall in battle.

They'd want me to finish the fight. ;_;

Hah, I'm too fastidious to let any of my compatriots die. Speaking of which...

Currently doing another pass through Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, finally unlocking the majority of secret storyline made available after the first run-through. Because I didn't know when to do it, I won't be getting the surprise revelation for Soren's heritage, but I've at least acquired Pelleas (dark magic is awesome) and will soon acquire The Chancellor. Simultaneously, I'm re-running Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon to get the unconventional characters (Norne, Etzel, Athena, et cetera).

Just have to pick it up from my mom's house since all my packages get shipped there and I haven't had time to pick it up since its all the way across town. Soon though

haha thanks

I'm gonna have Mass Effect 2 tomorrow for sure and then need to get Darksiders which will last until Final Fantasy XIII. Might not be that order, but those two are the next games I'm getting after Mass Effect 2.

The wife and I each have a game going on right now. I think we're trying to out "best game ever" the other.

She is playing Ocarina of Time on our N64 and is currently beating the Spirit Temple for the fourth time (she is copying saves before going in. She loves that temple that much).

For me, a housemate and I exchanged leaving gifts for our forthcoming move, he gave me a copy of Final Fantasy VII and I gave him the Sonic Adventure 2 10th Birthday Boxset. I harbor no regrets for this decision and since receiving the game yesterday I got all the way past Cloud's flashback, trying to explain the genius twist held within to Tricia.

Rightfully so, Tricia hates me playing FFVII and my increasingly nostalgic enthusiasm is making me seem, to her eyes, like one of those annoying FF Fanboys.

I am ashamed.

final fantasy 7 the new one on that psp craig? if so is it cooler than the original or what?
i'm thinking of buying a psp, i want ff7 if it's better, and i just totally gotta have "star ocean the second story" that was one of the coolest games ever.

as for what i'm playing now, i'm still playing sonic 06 for the xbox <crying> still can't win... and draw to life: the next chapter

The FF7 on the PSP is actually not Final Fantasy VII, it's called Crisis Core and is an entirely different game featuring the characters from FFVII. I've never played it.

The one I am playing is the old 1997 classic.

Since the 360 is out of commission, the PS2 has been getting lots of love recently with 'God Hand' and 'God Of War 2' seeing the most playtime.  Gotta appreciate the modern classics...

Mass Effect 2! Finally have it in my grasps and am loving every minute of it. Loving not having to clutter through inventory anymore. Just great all around. Gonna be playing the hell of out this when I get the time.

oh really? i thought that was just a new name to attract newer gamers. cause i saw the opening intro looking the same.
well good luck with ff7 and do a miracle and kill all the weapon robots this time
also dont waste your money on cloud's villa there's no bonus intro for doing that.

I had been playing Grandia on the PS3 for a bit. Pretty much blazed through it but also spent a good time power leveling or exploring some of the hidden dungeons. Of course once you go through those, the rest of the game is just trivial, as I was able to defeat almost all the bosses in the final area before they even got a hit in (And even if they did, it barely hurt Justin, aka too overpowered for his own good)

Guess I should FINALLY finish Lunar 2 and see just how annoying Zophar is.

Lesson learned with Cloud's villa, and this is a Emerald/Ruby run, so I'll let you know how that goes.

Seems the past decade has had me forget a lot of things, I'm not so good this run. At Temple of the Ancients and level 30, no one is 3rd limit tier yet and only Cloud, Barrett and Red XIII are worth a damn.

Well, those 3 are the only characters worth a damn in the first place. But I promised myself I'd make Tifa a viable unit in this run.

you're still in the beginning so don't worry about fighting so much and remember you need EVERYONE!
in the last battle the fist part you fight jenova in teams remember?

you could just power up the 3 main characters you like and level up 2 more characters10 levels behind.
as for leveling up, just get 5 lvls at each event and you should be on the right track. there's so many events it's a good strategy.

btw remember some materia are in a one time place, like the space event where you can get ultimate bahmut who you must never forget to get.
so research where the materia locations are from guides online.

and may HOLY be with you

ahh good ol FF7, brings back memories

Well, really into Mass Effect 2. Loving it so much. Recruited everyone except 1 last person it seems on the character chart. Gonna do all their side missions n such before I continue on the main objective. Good stuff indeed.

Finished No More Heroes 2 a couple of days ago.  I'm still a bit miffed over the final boss throwing me out of a window.  >.<  Other than that, I really enjoyed it, though I'm still debating if it's better than the first one or not.

Now, I'm trying to finish Bayonetta before I start playing Bioshock 2.

Sounds like a good "play"list you've got there. And even though...i'm like months away from playing Desperate Struggle something in my guy tells me I just won't love it quite as much as I love the first. Sure the game will be more polished...better in every way, I doubt it'll top the initial insanity and absurd craze I associate with 1. I'd love for 2 to try it though.

lots of stuff!!!

Been sucking significantly less at MW2 online. Like to point where I can even get kill streaks!... also if it is a domination game, I typically end up 1st or 2nd on the team.

Also been working my way through Starship Defense on the DSiware. It started out okay, but the levels get frustratingly hard quick. Unfortunately you start out each level with the same amount of money, and there are only 3 basic attack towers.

I've also continued my run through of Pokemon Platinum. Snagged the wifi pichu from Gamestop last week, so I'm looking forward to unlocking the event in HG/SS.

Finally my copy of Bioshock 2 finally arrived today . I'm surprised at how much I've forgotten about the series.

I got into Zelda: Spirit Tracks, and it's pretty fun on the DS. Then shortly after Mass Effect 2 came out, it stole me away. ME2's upgrade system is much less cluttered than ME1's inventory system. Also I like how you can import your character from the previous game. I didn't change my character's face from the default though, as it was too memorable to leave behind.

I got Mass Effect 2 for a buddy of mine, so I popped it in my 360 to give it a quick try, even though I hated the first one and Dragon Age. I boot it up, pick a female character, get through the boring opening where I just had to move around, got my one achievement point for finishing the openning... and it froze =|. I restarted my 360, and I had no save data. Took the disc out, replaced it with Bioshock 2, and I haven't looked back.

Grant me the strength to return home today without stopping by a store to pick up Edgeworth.

Give me that strength, it is all I a--- what do you mean I have to go to Best Buy on the way home to get a phone?

---grr...

*is still playing Final Fantasy VII. Having obtained KotR, Omnislash and all the other chocobo/GS items at the earliest opportunity on Disc 2, I am now fighting Emerald Weapon and returning to Midgar*

Doing Golden Chocobo sidequest without W-Item is difficult, but rewarding. Doing the sunken airship sidequest without visiting Northen Crater to get multiple ribbons is also annoying.

I'll try take on Emerald and Ruby sometime in the near future.

Edit: Got bored trying to level up KotR materia to make Barrett's Ungarmax limit strong enough to blow the crap out of Emerald without 15 minute cutscenes. Started Edgeworth game.

It is adequate so far, too much investigation not enough tense court action. Infact, so far the cross examinations have been cosy little chitchats with nothing riding on them. I want life or death epicness.
