Nice @ Craig. Edgeworth arrived at my Uni mail box yesterday, so I shall be picking it up soon.
In the mean time, I've been playing through Bioshock 2. Definitely enjoying it, although not being able to backtrack kinda bites... I don't know if I'll bother replaying it to find all the audio tapes.
Yeah, AAI is awesome. I'm up to the fourth case (it's a flashback case, like in T&T. I'll just let you guess as to the cameos) and it's been great so far. I read a review that had one specific point I agree with: it's much more satisfying playing as the cool and collected Edgey compared to the green and awkward Polly. Though, Kay isn't near as fun as Maya or Trucy. Her meta banter with Gumshoe is hilarious though.
Beat Mass Effect 2 for the first time the other day (haven't had much time to play games lately so thats the reason its took me this long.) But loved it and have already started over with a new Shepard.
Playing some AvP. Just working through the campaign at the moment. The aliens feel a little more disorientating to play than in AvP2 but that could just be from not having played in a while.
Also, Borderlands. Phasewalk = Win.
im currently drowning my sorrows with pokemon platinum, a replay of assassins creed 2, a replay of mass effect 2 and bioshock 2
i seriously dont know what to make of bioshock 2... it's fun but... it seems a bit shallow
Just beat the second DLC for Assassin's Creed 2... Very disappointed with this and the first DLC. Both were extremely short, didn't add much to the overall story, just not fun to play at all... and neither added extra achievements to the game. The good thing was I spent less than $10, but the bad thing is they should have been included with the game itself, or given away for free.
Still working my way through Bioshock 2... I think I've already missed stuff, don't know if I'll bother replaying the game.
Well I'm trying (emphasis on the word trying) to play Tekken 6 Online but it's the most painful thing. Sometimes I'll win good and then other times, I can't win for anything. Steadily growing to hate King/A King players because they spam throws and I can't break those online...:/
Let me reiterate that Ace Attorney Investigations is, indeed, awesome.
AAI Case 5 Spoilers:
A major obstacle toward the defeat of the big bad of this case is that
it's an international affair, and the baddie has extraterritorial
rights that will allow him to walk away, without you being able to do
anything about it. This immediately called Lethal Weapon 2 to mind for me, and I was thinking of it throughout the case....Then, Agent Lang busts in to save the day with:
Agent Lang:
Ambassador? Your diplomatic immunity.... has just been revoked!
I just about died.
Beat Bioshock 2 on Tuesday. Ending was pretty good, I went for the completely good ending. I played 2 rounds of multiplayer before turning it off. Just wasn't fun =|
Finally got around to playing Hotel Dusk. It's been fun so far. I love the style; it's slick, very cool, fits the noir feel quite well. I'm up to and past the circuit breaker puzzle. That one stumped me because I know what the DS is actually capable of detecting; I didn't expect the programmers to find a way to work around it.
Also, I beat AAI. Very nice ending, and I loved that cute hint in the closing toward the future form of the Yggdrasil Yatagarasu.
STOP TEMPTING MEEEEEEEEEEE!! ;_;
I'm gonna play AAI... uh, eventually. But I've got Dragon Quest V to keep me busy for a while.
Just to spite myself, I decided to play Sonic Spinball and Bubsy and see how far I could last.
Bubsy: I got as far as the canyon level before the large stockpile of lives I had amassed in the hill and carnival levels got whittled down pretty darn fast, especially once I got off the train part and had to explore the canyon levels, which are far harder than even some of the later levels are even say the last level. Soooooo many stupid things that can kill you, most of which are pointy. You will jump into stupid deaths and were the land sharks really neccesary? My patience gave out after this.
Spinball: I set the speed as high as I could and then decided to play. First level went okay but second level...ugh. It took me forever to undo just one cork so I could get the second emerald and with the speed pretty high, I often would careen into death. Whatever, Spinball is a stupid game. I do remember playing once and getting to the last level, ugh.
I finally hooked my Wii up, and started playing through NSMB. Just awesome so far. Made it through world 2 before stopping tonight. I also ordered a used copy of NMH2 from Gamestop, so I should be playing through that soon.
Just beat case 2 of AAI. Definitely not enjoying it as much as the court room drama that the core AA games deliver, but it is fine in its own right. In PKMN Platinum I'm just about to beat the 3rd gym leader. Doubtful that I'll finish it before HG/SS come out, especially with AAI on my plate as well.
I recently returned to Pokemon Platinum. Recently got my tenth win against the Elite 4 and purchased the Piano for the Villa. Now I am attempting to premier ball the runners.
Don't Be Nervous Talking to Girls. It's an indie game[from Canada my roommates and I believe] that ive totally fallen in love with. It's so...realistic. I fail at that game just like I do in real life. XDXD!
Currently Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition. After that I imagine I'll try a new type of character on The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion again.
Done with Mass Effect 2 for the time being. Still deciding if I'm gonna get Darksiders or FFXIII next. Both I really want to play and will have to play only one, then the other at a later time. I am intrigued by playing a new FF, but not sure if I'm in the turnbased rpg mood, and feel like playing a more action/zelda style game. So, pretty soon, I'll have one of those and will be having a blast.
I don't ever remember Earthworm Jim being this tough. Miniboss of the first stage is super annoying. I try to get out of the way of his charges and fail, losing gobs of life while I'm at it.
I give up at that and try to beat Sonic and Knuckles while getting all the emeralds on the first try. As soon as I got to the fifth one, I began to make a comedy of errors when I had only a few blue spheres left. This continues for the 6th and 7th ones as well, ugh.
Ended up just starting a new game of God of War 2. With the new one coming out, felt like going back and playing this bad boy. Gonna still get Darksiders/FFXIII after though.
Just finished Heavy Rain. Game was epic from start to finish and one of the greatest gaming experiences I've ever had the pleasure of having. Definitely ranks in my top 3 games. Loved everything about it.
Wow, thats good to hear. Might have to give that game a look when I get done with my others.
Still on God of War 2. Just used those giant horses to get to that island.
Went home this past weekend so I got in a ton of Blazblue. It's ridiculous how much more I enjoy BB than SFIV. Like...really BB should win every award that is possible to win as far as fighting games are concerned.
Beat Dragon Quest IV and am now playing V. It's so much better in the story department. I love the plot so far (though this game really, really guilt trips you into which girl you should marry; so unfair!) and I love how it actually is connected to IV, with all of the references.
Still only about halfway through, though.
Started playing FFXIII annnnnnnnd...I want to punch Hope in the mouth. He whines too much, angsts too much and...AUGH!
Heh, been awhile since I posted here! Anyways Just got FFXIII about ten hours in. I'm really digging the battle sysyem it's so intense! Still wondering why the hell there's a chocobo in Sazh's afro? Oh well!
Still wondering why the hell there's a chocobo in Sazh's afro?
Because the moogle in his pants is a complete slob.
Beat God of War 2 late last night. Now gonna get my check tomorrow and buy me a new game. ^_^
Currently Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition. After that I imagine I'll try a new type of character on The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion again.
Good luck with that, I'm a massive fan of both, but Oblivion just doesn't seem to cut it after you've played Fallout 3. I might get passed that and enjoy it again one day though...
HG. Nuff said.
See ya in 45 days :O. Not. Leaving. My Sofa. Not even for internetz!

I have to agree with that... I started Oblivion after I beat Fallout 3. Played 30 minutes worth and quit =|... Can't wait for New Vegas in the fall though
In about an hour I'll be playing HG. Unfortunately Gamestop here doesn't open until noon. I only got 5 badges in Platinum, but eh good enough.
Tuesday and Wednesday I was playing FFXIII. Definitely agree with the Hope hate. I'm not a fan of the XP/Leveling system, but eh I'll live. This is my first console FF game, so it should be interesting. My buddy has it now, as we split the cost. I'll get it back in a couple of weeks when he is done with it.
Just got Pokemon SoulSilver. Life is beautiful.
I LOVED Gold/Silver so I need impressions!
Haven't even reached the first gym yet, but I'm loving the remake so far. Actually I've spent more time playing with the walker than anything else.
I hit platinum on Saboteur Saturday. Now I have to pick another game to get started on.
Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks
Mirror's Edge
Farcry 2
Dragon Age: Origins
Battlefield: Bad Company
Splinter Cell: Double Agent
Kengo: Legend of the 9
IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey
Fallout 3
Blazing Angels
Watchmen: The End Is Nigh
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
Suggestions?
Out of that list, I'd go with Fallout 3. Or hell, maybe give Watchmen a quick try. I hated it and gave up after an hour or so.
I beat Mass Effect 2 late Saturday night so I've gone back to finishing up my replay of Kingdom Hearts I.
Playing Dead Space again for the heck of it until I get a new game in the next few days.

You can't go wrong with Mirrors Edge or Fallout 3. Both are really good games (ME being my favorite game this gen). Go with either one for sure.
I havn't been playing much, thanks to studying but I just recently bought Power Stone for Dreamcast. Its definitely one of the best fighting games I've played; second to Marvel vs Capcom.
Also finishing up Sakura Wars 2. I think I only have 3 more chapters to go, so I went ahead and bought Sakura Wars 3. It should be coming in by a week or two.
Playing Farcry 2 right now, a fifth through accoding to the save file but have done plenty of side quests that didn't alter the percentage.
I have to say it's one of the most infuriating yet compelling games I've ever play. There's no such thing as certainty in the game; enemies take bullets like they're made of bricks and you can always be killed fast, what's more you'll sometimes get rundown before you even realise a car's coming for you.
Yet I can't stop playing. The game forces you to think, to change your tactics, to plan ahead for possible difficulties. You always feel you can find another way, and so far that's been absolutely true.
Edit: All said I've just found a reason to give up on the game.
Following a mission that a buddy aided me in I had to reach his position to save him in the middle of a gun fight. I found myself a nice place to view the battlefield from a far, allowing me to pick off all enemies with my nice sniper rifle. However, once all enemies were clear and I could see my buddy was standing and well I headed over, at which point the "Mission Accomplished" alert came up and asked me to save, after that I sought my buddy only to find his dead body. I looked up his profile in the pause menu and it said "Mercy Killed".
...
So not only did he die randomly and without reason it implies I was responsible...
What's worse is that this is the SECOND time this has occured.
Joy.
Anywho, we'll see if I continue playing or move onto one of my other games, like Star Ocean 4 or something.
I LOVED Gold/Silver so I need impressions!
G/S was my favorite version because it took the brilliant design of R/B/Y and added a lot of new stuff to it. However, since then, these new things have become standard, so a lot of the freshness is absent from HG/SS.
Ended up picking up Darksiders. Liking it a lot so far. Combat is pretty good. Everything is pretty solid. Should have lots of fun with it.
Psychonauts, borrowed from a friend. And Pokemon SoulSilver which I bought myself. I'm a complete Poke-newbie, so this is a new experience for me.
GAH, hearing the things about HG/HS is so painful. I understand why some of the innovations now aren't so new but it's...Pokemon Gold and Silver, gah. Now I need to get a DS again, thanks alot Nintendo...=(
Oh and if you have a PS3 and don't own Grandia, BUY IT ON PS STORE NOW. Game is awesome.
I started Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. I'm a Zelda-phile, so I couldn't help myself but start on my pile o' games there.
Darksiders- loving this game so much. Just got my horse Ruin which kicks so much ass and retrieved the third out of the four hearts I need for Samael. This game is just all around fun.
I have Heart Gold and it IS sort of different from the last couple of games.
I mean, sure, there were things you could only get at certain periods of the day in S/R/E and D/P/Pl but the last few games didn't seem to go all the way with it.
It's more prevalent in this remake. Plus the Pokegear and all it brings is back. (The radio thing has an effect on wild pokemon, I hear.) Plus you can have ANY Pokemon you own follow you around. Just put it first in your party and... yeah. You can check on it and see how it's reacting to the environment (Yeah, their behavior changes based on the environment.) and... yeah.
I mean, sure, the rest of the games had some of the stuff that was in Gold/Silver but they were... kind of watered down and less focused on. They seem to be back in full force this time.
There's also the Pokewalker which I haven't bothered with.
By the way, I just beat the 3rd Gym Leader, Whitney. My cousin said he's on, like, the 7th and we got the game at the same time. (Though I picked the GRASS-type starter and he picked The FIRE-type starter so the Flying and Bug gyms slowed me down majorly because I had to train new pokemon with a type-advantage to knock out Falkner`s FREAKING ROOST-SPAMMING PIDGEOTTO and BUGSY`S NIGH-IMPOSSIBLE TO KILL EVEN WITH A TYPE ADVANTAGE SCYTHER.
I definetly recommend this.
I played the hell out of Silver as a kid. You have no idea the nostalgia you're digging up describing the day/night mechanic and the radio effects. Yeah, I'mma gonna hafta pick up SoulSilver soon.
Finished up Sakura Wars 2. Boy golly that is a great game. The ending really sets up the 3rd perfectly, luckily I just bought that, and I'm ready to start it up.
was playing Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
Several months ago I played Dragon Quest IV DS up to what I believe was the final dungeon, but lost interest and never completed it. Few weeks ago started Dragon Quest V, loved it, married my digital waifu and finished it yesterday. Gonna go ahead and start up DQIV again and do right by it.
In between DS sessions, I bit the proverbial bullet and (finally) joined the Master Race... via Steam and a copy of Half-Life 1 Source. Finished it a few days ago, wondering if I should go ahead and get the rest of the saga.
