Still playing Motorstorm: Pacific Rift. I decided to do some practicing in Time Trial mode. I took a gander at my place on the Leaderboards and saw that I currently hold one of the top 50 times on Scorched Volcanic with the bike. I'm pretty pleased with myself. I also got close (a 56 and 60) on a few other tracks.

Finished God of War II. During the final battle I do believe that was a pretty big plothole there:

Ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

To be honest that really irked me when I played GoW2 as well and I wish it had some explanation but don't expect any. GoW3 is mostly manly awesome gar experienceness. Don't expect a deep story here, Psx.

As for me, I have just finished playing Dead Rising 2: Case Zero for the second time. Leveled Chuck up to level 5, got me some cash and combo cards ready to transfer into Dead Rising 2 when it comes out, mmyes.

Looks like I WON'T be playing my PS3 for a while: yellow light of death. I am now convinced there is no such thing as cosmic justice. If there is, it better be saving up for a HUGE payoff later on. Don't know what I'm gonna do about this now; I want to keep my backwards-compatible model.

Working on finishing Crackdown 2. Glad I didn't buy it. The enemies, especially the Cell equipped with seeking rocket launchers, are way too cheap imo. Maybe it will be more fun once I unlock the jetpack thing...

Wrapping up Scott Pilgrim vs The World. Beat it with Scott, Kim, and Stills, now playing through as Ramona. Just 1 achievement away & it is complete...

Then waiting for Sonic Adventure to hit XBLA. Probably getting Dead Rising 2: Case Zero first.

DJ Hero.

Yep, I'm a little late to the party, but Toys Backwards-R Us had the game+controller bundle for $20 and how the hell am I gonna say no to that?

How is it?  Totally worth it.  Great music to listen to and it's loads of fun.  Also, no stupid plot where DJ Jazzy Jeff turns into a werewolf to fight a demon or anything; just music and scratching.

Oh and a friend of mine let me borrow their copy of NMH so i'm playing through that. Holly Summers here I come. ^_^

Sale's over, unfortunately.  It was a two-day sale only.

I think Best Buy's still retailing the bundle for $40, though.

There's actually 6 characters you can play as in Scott Pilgrim, 4 standard plus two "hidden". Of the secret characters, one is an unlockable and the other (apparently) is DLC and currently unavailable at this time. It'll probably be up around the same time that the retail disc version (which as far as I know includes everything) hits stores.

All of that will actually be hitting stores to coincide with the DVD/Blu-Ray release of the film.

I'm playing Metroid: Other M and I'm actually almost done with it. I'm about to face

! It's a really fun game and I recommend it though somethings do get aggravating. I'm hoping I can beat it tonight so I can have my gaming time open solely for Birth by Sleep tomorrow.

Aqua. Please stop grunting, sighing and AAAHing at me. Your character is actually pretty awesome, but your voice actress is doing everything in her power to make you seem like a suckier version of KH2 Aertih.

Oh, and... Birth By Sleep is the perfect battle system for a KH game. Has less of the awesomeness of KH2, but it trades off with functionality, which is a nice trade in my book. I may well USE my spells this game.

I've been playing Tales of VS and Valkyria Chronicles II.

VC2's main hero (Avan) has the most annoying laugh in a video game ever IMO.  Yes, even worse than the infamous laughing scene in Final Fantasy X.  At least that laugh only happened once. >.>

God, I want to stab Avan in the throat so bad. >.<

Pretty much taking back UFC 2010 today. It's fun in small spurts, but playing through every major competitive & career mode shows off how unbalanced and unpolished it really is.

I want Spidey: Shattered Dimensions. =(

Red Dead Redemption- such an awesome game! GTA+Western=Badassery! I'm having a blast playing single player and always getting sidetracked with tons of other things when I try to do missions, lol. I've crossed into Mexico already and trying to get a lot of the costumes and collectibles. Also will be playing online as soon as I finish the singleplayer.

Beat Aqua's game of Birth By Sleep and was dumped onto the splash page. Given that I don't want to do the intro and such all over again to pick between Terra and Ventus, I'm not so enthused to go back to it.

Also, I have to say I'm disappointed with how meatless BbS is. I beat the game quite soundly at level 30 with Aqua, the final boss didn't put up much resistance at all, my attacks drained his lifebar effortlessly. When level 30 is overleveled for a final boss, you know that your game is too short.

Hopefully the final story will prove I am no where near complete. But I tell you one thing, I'm not bothering to level grind with either Terra or Ven. If my MAGE can whoop butt without difficulty, my heavy hitters should have no probs.

The game gives you the option to skip the introduction and go straight to choosing your character after you've been through it once. Just remember not to save over another character's save or you might lose some data that will unlock the game's final story (I think it's having all the Xehanort Reports that triggers it?).

I'm playing BBS of course. I'm playing Terra first, as Nomura suggested, and just started his Dwarf Woodlands; I'm having a hoot so far though it took me awhile to get use to the command controls. As far as it being meatless, I surprised to hear that as I've heard it's supposed to be heavy on story and the best of the KH games.

I've been celebrating the Dreamcast's 11th birthday. I got mine in 2000 so its more of a 10th for me. I played games that are special and I remember great things about.
In list form:

Sonic Adventure- I started a new saving and played up to the Nights pinball table. This was where I had first seen Nights. I remember it being a very mysterious and freakin' awesome experience, the music and characters are perfect. Nights is actually THE reason I tracked down a Saturn a few years back.

Phantasy Star Online- I bought this in I think early 2006, so no online playing for me. Though I really didn't need it to love this game. Some great times of staying up late or on some occasions waking up early to play. I played as a character I made about a month ago; leveled up a bit and dungeon crawled for a few hours.

Shenmue- Wow, I actually forgot how amazing Shenmue is! I bought this sometime near 2007. I played a savings I had that was a few hours in. It took just a few minuts to remember what is to love about Shenmue; the gameplay, music, and atmosphere. Definitely my favorite music in any video game. I played around for a while and reached the second disk.

Sakura Wars- I actually bought this last October. I was hit with a very strange nostalgia rush; I happen to love the 90's style anime put into the game. I played a mode where you get to walk around the theatre and watch cut scenes, play mini games, and listen to music. In fact if Shenmue has my favorite soundtrack then Sakura Wars is second. SW happens to be where I found a passion for Japanese, and I think that is one more reason why it is special to me.

I couldn't find my copy of Sonic Adventure 2, which happened to be an extremely nostalgic game to me. The great memories of passing the controller around while taking care of chao was really cool. SA2 is also the game that really symbolizes my start of becoming a serious gamer. I'll take another look through my tubs of games, but I think it might be gone for good.

Well, Rayzor. I started with Aqua. Starting Ven right now and hoping that it has a lot more. Given that there are major story events referenced at the endgame for Aqua, which she was not there to percieve, I feel Terra and Ven have the majority of the meat and Aqua is relegated to tying up their loose ends and doing the Disney quests.

We'll seem when I get further as Ven.

Yeah, I've heard that on the GF forums; rather you play Nomura's suggested order (Terra, Ven, and Aqua) or play Ven first, I've always heard you should save Aqua's story for last as she spoils a lot of Ven's.

I loved the hell out of the game, until the very end.  It wasn't the ending that ruined it for me, exactly, as it was very well written.  But there was 1 specific thing that greatly reduced the enjoyment after-story free roaming to collect the handful of things I missed through the regular game.  I'll wait until after you finish to give any spoilers, but chances are that by the time I tell you what it was, you'll already know.

Borrowed the Arkham Assylum GOTY from my work. Took down Zsasz and then stopped. I was kind of disappointed my save from the regular edition didn't cross over to the GOTY. Oh well, the 3D was extremely pretty. I was surprised how well it worked.

Looks like I will be grabbing Reach today. I have a ton of gift cards for Best Buy, so I'll be grabbing that along with my Big Bang Theory S3 (and my BAZINGA! shirt). I also ordered Professor Layton, so that should be shipping in the next day or so.

Continuing my love of all things zombie with the very lovely Claire Redfield <3 Not as sure that I'm enjoying it as the first one; I don't think there's as many destructible elements in the environment but I have to say I love how they've expanded the campaigns for each game (8 chapters for RE2 and 7 for CV compared to... what? 4 max for RE1 in Umbrella Chronicles?) and how they've properly followed the level designs from the actual games and the story too. I was really dissapointed how they changed the RE3 story in Umbrella Chronicles just so they could use assets from Outbreak, RE3 is my favourite in the series and it deserved its proper representation.

That said, what I'd absolutely love is a HD collection of Umbrella and Darkside chronicles for the PS3; Move would make most excellent use of the games. And speaking of Resi, I'd love to see a new Outbreak game. I never really played much of the other 2; I spent a bit on the first one but the controls were worse than usual and the loading times were utterly horrendous, not to mention that the online component of the PS2 was downright terrible. But a new Outbreak for Xbox Live/PSN; sort of like L4D but slower paced and greater focus on teamwork in combat and puzzles? Yes please!

Played some of the Reach campaign tonight... So glad I decided to get the game . Did co-op with two buddies, and had a coworker join us later. The game is gorgeous. The gameplay is great as well, although even on Normal I am noticing the enemies are much tougher. Absolutely loved the space battle level

Hopefully Prof Layton gets here before the weekend. I've been working through Brain Age's sudoku puzzles, but I could use something different... along with an engaging story

So, I finally took out the last boss in Crackdown. I did them in kind of an odd order, I guess. For 2 of the gangs, I took out the main boss while he still had generals left. For example, for the Shai-Gen, I took out Wang with 3 generals still left on the field.

The last general I took out was Cowel. He was actually harder than Wang was. I stumbled onto an easy way into Wang's tower (it can be accessed from the sides via neighboring buildings). Cowel's tower didn't have an easy access, so I had to work from the bottom up. But I got him, then I went and took care of the riot and was 'treated' to the end of the story line.

To be honest, the ending sucked. I know it was supposed to be this big twist, but that particular twist was not only painfully obvious, but has been played out for a long time.

"Ooohh.... So I've been working for the bad guy all a long?! I am soooooo surprised...."

I still have 2 skills (agility and driving) that aren't technically maxed out, but everything is 4 stars. I don't have all of the orbs, agility or hidden, but I don't really care. I'm not sure I'd go back to this game again.

That means I have to pick a new game from my stack-o-plenty to play.

I'm down to:

PS3:

- Fallout 3

- Farcry 2

- H.A.W.X.

- IL-2 Sturmovik

- Iron Man

- Mirror's Edge (played the hell out of the demo)

- Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction

- WWE: Legends of WrestleMania

360:

Kengo: Legend of the 9

9 games left in my unopened game stack. Suggestions?

I just found the whiny little brat annoying and distracting.  Hearing "Run, ya damned nag!" or any of his other annoying 'catch phrases' constantly made continuing post story mode unbearable for me.  I still have 1 or 2 challenges in single player to finish, but I probably won't do it on this character.  I might, at some later date, go back and start a new run, and be sure to finish everything before I finish the story mode.

Yeah. As much as I loved the game, though, I'm not sure it's really a good setting for zombies. It feels like the devs sat around asking "What's popular right now? Hey! There's several new zombie killing games coming out! What if we throw some zombies in as DLC?"

Playing through Mirror's Edge and Marvel Ultimate Alliance right now. Then moving on to Brutal Legend. Whoooop.
