Anyone have suggestions for Wii titles? My sister's getting a Wii for Christmas, but that's not going to stop me from playing. But, most of my family will also be playing the Wii, too, so any good game suggestions of all titles and genres would be helpful (also, lulz, already getting Brawl, so no need to mention that). I don't care for likes or what my personal preferences might be, just wanna hear some good, solid titles out there.

No More Heroes man. Do it! 😛 And hmm...if you're a big Madden fan you can't go wrong there...i'll never go back to playing with buttons...how lame is that crap? Also...Mario and Sonic at the Olympics is a fun party game, with some individual initiative to play alone as well. If you are a big 2D Fighter fan...KoF Orochi Saga is awesome as well as Tatsunoko vs. Capcom[if you have a Japanese Wii or are willing to hack your sis's Wii ]

You just need one of those Free Loader things to play Japanese games. I was actually thinking of getting one of those for Let's Tap, but I decided to wait and see if they bring it to the States.
For recommendations I would say Nights Journey of Dreams and whatever the Mario soccer game is called. Sorry I havn't played it in a while and it had a weird name. Both are really good games. If you do get Nights, make sure to have a GameCube controller. The nunchuck is horrible for Nights; its extremely difficult to keep your thumb on it.

Mario Galaxy is pretty awesome. The physics are amazing. Once I get some time a little later, I'll think of some more.

Mario Galaxy - Need I explain it? I've had my copy over a year and still not finished everything in that game, and not through lack of trying.

Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn - Tactical grid based RPG, sequel to a Gamecube game and heavy in plot, which may detract it's value. Very difficult and has a harder mode if you enjoy. VERY good plot, but such a direct continuation to the first game, you may feel lost.

Tales of Symphonia 2 - Inferior to it's predecessor, but it's possibly the best EXP based RPG you can get on the Wii right now.

Resident Evil 4 - The ability to aim with the Wiimote really adds a lot to the game, and you get the PS2 exclusive mini-games, too. Nothing much else, though.

Twilight Princess - FREAKING HUGE GAME. Take nostalgia out of the equation and it is hands down the best Zelda in all terms but sidequests. Plus the Wii version has Wiimote fishing and the ability to target and move at the same time, useful for bosses.

Metroid Prime 3 - I'm not an FPS fan, but this is an FPS. It uses Wiimote controls. That's kind of cool. I think A is the shooting button, so you can't use the Zapper for it, though.

Zack & Wiki - Puzzley Piratey adventures. I have never played it, sadly, but I read that it's good.

No More Heroes - Great arcade themed slash-em-up fun. Lasts 8-12 hours with minimal replay value, the "sandbox hub" is too big for the absoloute lack of features and minigames it has and the humor is a very very specific which many don't get.

Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles - Arcade shooter with some nice little additions, follows the plot of the first 3 games and 0 somewhat, though is an insult to 2/3, ranking system is ludicriously hard to deal around, fun with 2 people but best alone. Wesker and HUNK's solo missions are worth the cover price. Barry does not appear in game =/

Wario Ware - ONLY if you have a ton of people, it's really small and not fun alone, but with 4-12 people it's amazing.

Mario Party 8 - Same as Wario Ware, multiplayer only.

Mario Kart Wii - As good as Double Dash, but worse than DS in my opinion. Very fun for multiplayer, the mine track can go screw itself. You can control with Gamecube controller if you don't like using your Wiimote as a wheel.

BRAWL - It's Smash Brothers Brawl, dammit.

Craig's list reflects the best the Wii has, though I'd add Super Paper Mario. I haven't played it bu it's gotten good reviews.

Craig just to point something out, you can change the controls in MP3 to use the B button as shooting. Yes, Paper Mario and don't forget some of the VC titles like SMRPG and the like.

The backward compatibility for Gamecube games is also an option if you haven't gotten one yet.

Heck, it's pretty great even if you have a GCN, it's great cuz you have one system for both games. I played both Metroid Prime 1 & 2, BG&E, and Billy Hatcher on my Wii.

Donkey Kong: Barrel Blast

Don't listen to all the negative BS, it's a decent racing game that requires more skill than Mario Kart

Oh yes. I've been playing it non-stop for about a week and I've loved every moment of it.

Bully: Scholarship Edition is also a whole heap of fun. Like GTA but set at a school.

Any of the Lego games, if you haven't played them.
