Well in two weeks the 360 will take over again...then 2 months and a weeks after that the Wii will become president.
What's most shocking is that the Wii still hasn't met it's demand yet. The bastard's still selling out every opportunity it can get.
Which is annoying to me, personally, who has tasked himself with the mission of purchasing one before Christmas.
Purchasing one? A US one?
If you'd like, I can keep a watch for one if you'd like.
Thanks for the offer, Mickey B, but the fun is in the hunt, plus I have technology to aid me in my hunt >>;
I don't know about that Mr Craig. There are quite a few preowned ones down in Hastings Gamestation and possibly Game. They'll be gone by Xmas though.
But yeah. Bloody good year for Ninty. And to think Wii was a risk.
lol, Craig actually hit a nail on another of my nicknames ... Good hunting then!
John, I'm confident Craig isn't looking for a UK Wii... I think he's turning Japa... American.
As HS suggested, though, in the light of Halo 3's release it'll probably fluctuate for at least the next two months.
Of course it's likely that after that the Wii will still be on top. I can't quite fathom why it's selling so well. (that's not an invitation to explain btw, just a random mumble)

Oh yeah. >_> Still...
Well you see THS allow me to explain the Wii's massive success. It all begins with- *stoned* But yea flucuation is indeed going to be happening up until the new year. I wonder if Sony will get on its horse[or in their case...rocket] in '08. Tekken 6, MGS4, and maybe GT5...i'm not sure on GT5. Sony's got to have some trick up their sleeve, really. I'm just not used to this.
Yeah Sony does its called " AY Sega! We wanna be like Youuuu-hooo!"
The only problem with Sony is they are trying to make their PS3 not just a gaming system but and entire entertainment system, the whole TV box idea they have and among other things is what is really hampering them at the moment. Yeah sadly Sony will eventually start selling PS3s and like usual it'll come out on top; that is unless of course Konami finally gets its way and gets MGS4 on the 360 as well.
For the rest of the year though, the 360 will be on top for mainly Sept and Oct. However the Wii will come back for Nov and Dec. Halo 3 and Brawl are going to be the 2 biggest games of the Christmas season.
And possibly Super Mario Galaxy. Maybe...who knows. *shrugs* But yea Sony is trying to make a home-based PSP. Not working Sony, sorry. The PS2's success came basically[if not solely] from its funcionality as a DvD player...and this trick should not have been attempted this generation as well. Sony's learned I think and will be ready with the PS4. *bricked*

Not the way things are going.
Sony may still come out on top over time, but there's no chance of it being such a wash out like it was last generation, both Wii and 360 are proving far more successful than their predecessors.
It'll be a very close race at the very least.
Nintendo can, financially, be called the winners at this point, though. 10m console sales at a profit will be hard to catch up to.
But technically the Wii isn't a next-generation console and shouldn't be considered as part of this console war so Xbox 360 still wins
Bah. Next-Gen is just an excuse for infinite FPS games full of bloom, brown and sunglare </fanboy rant>
Seriously, though... right now 360 is kicking the crap out of everything, at least in the UK this is the case.
*slaps Spiner* Oh shut up! That's like saying the Dreamcast wasn't a part of last generation...because it was. It was I tell you! And for me...it's still a part of this gen...generation!!1 *wails*
360 over Wii in the UK, you say Craig. Interesting note there.
