If this has already been covered, I apologise. Lock this topic if so.

I've heard of, and even seen, screenshots and reviews of a Mega Man anniversary Collection for Gamecube. Does anyone know if this game exists, if it's been deleted, set back or what. I would appreciate any information. Thanks.

Yes indeedy I am European. British actually. I can assume then it does exist. Hope it isn't an America only release.

Thanks for the confirmation, Shadow Hog.

I hate to break it to you, but... it is. Capcom of Europe seems to think there isn't a demand for Mega Man (of the classic variety, at any rate), so they won't release it.

MMAC DOES have an "Easy" mode, ya know. For everything but Mega Man 8, which wasn't ever that hard, and the arcade games, for which you have Free Play.

Suck it up.
Megaman was never THAT hard,
except for MM1...
To this day I've only seen the ending to that game three times.

Don't let it bother you hypershadow, it's just a petty thing. Anyway, I heard there were hidden mega man games in anniversary collection. Is that true? I heard it from a sort of reliable source.

Yes - Megaman: The Power Battle and Megaman: The Power Fighters (or some such titles) - two Megaman one-on-one "fighting" games which were in arcades in Japan in the mid-90s. They pit you against a selection of bosses from the Megaman games, and you can play as Megaman, Protoman, or Bass, though I've failed to see any difference in gameplay between the three characters.

I think in Power Fighters you get Duo too.

Mega man one-on-one fighting? I can just picture their being fatalities! Blown to bits by a charge shot. Mauled by Rush maybe? That could be an animality in fact (though I thought the animalities in Mortal Kombat were really dull and desperate ideas).:cuckoo

so were the brutalities... people just randomly puched at high speeds until they exploded... WTF?

I can also safely say I've never wanted to use friendship on any, I repeat, any MK characters because they have most likely been kicking my head in for the past 10 mins. :insane

Is it 3D one-on-one like Sonic The Fighters or 2D?

2D, no fatalities, no punching or kicking, just regular old Megaman weapons ;)
