I've been meaning to ask mega man fans this question a long time ago, since the days of the Sega Saturn. in mega man X4, the animation was wonderful, the art, the style was excellent.
is there a mega man anime series with that kind of art?
I saw the old show long ago and I've seen a bit of the new mega man. they don't look like the animation from the game.
so is that it? are there only two mega man series.
yeah, there are only two.
they created the animations just for the game. something they should have done with X 5, and X6.
that's a shame, i loved the story on X4 and the animation was wonderful. it's the only mega man game i actually finished. thanks anyway.
If you want more animation, X3 in the Megaman X Collection has some anime clips.
^really? Should be awesome if it is anything like X4s. I really loved how X4 had that added throughout the game. I think X5 and X6 would have done was better if they continued with those animated cutscenes instead of the picture ones we got. Also some other stuff that they changed in them.
I'm surprised in all this no one's mentioned Maverick Hunter X. There's over 30 minutes of animation in that game, including the short OVA Day of Sigma.
was maverick hunter X even out in 2006? (could've been, i'm not sure.)
2 years old this month going by the US release.
I'm gonna have to check that out as well. I love in X4 when you got to see Zero & Sigma fight towards the last part of the game. I would play the game over and over just to see that part.
Although Maverick Hunter X's Day of Sigma OVA contradicts what happened in that battle between Zero and Sigma - I won't spoil how exactly, but just so you're prepared a bit for it.
