A new batch of info and images pertaining to the Korean game Rockman Online is released today. Most notable of all is that the game is more definitively using the Rockman X
series, and so far stars Rockman X and Zero. However, there will be
other NPCs. The game will employ 3D graphics but maintain a 2D
perspective, much like Mega Man X8 did. The game is being
described as an side-scrolling action-RPG, and is meant to feel like
the original games. NeoWiz plans to releases screenshots of the game
soon, which will also introduce more characters.
More info after the link.
So, Excited?
Happy?
Legends 3 PLZ?
Well this is interesting.
I don't think X and Zero ever looked cuter.
This looks really cool!
Now's my time to shine!
Eeep. Well this is interesting. Instead of getting a Megaman 9 treatment, X series gets ... some Korean published 3rd party MMO that's likely never to get published outside of the country anyway? Hopefully we're not missing much.
Now's my time to shine!

Late last week we broke the story
of Rockman Online’s latest developments, and gave the details. However,
there was one detail I was remiss in pointing out at the time. Given
that I don’t know Korean, and machine translations are sketchy at best,
I didn’t feel confident about putting it out. But after looking into it
more, and getting some consulting from some Korean associates, I will
now lay this out, but as a rumor.Apparently, Rockman Online is intended to tie the classic and X series together.
At least according to the reports that came out, such as this one
on This Is Game, where a line calls Rockman Online “A side-scrolling 3D
action game that connects Rockman Classic and X.†Of course, that
doesn’t necessarily mean tying their stories together, but what else
would it mean? Mechanics-wise, the series are rather similar. At any
rate, if this is true then forthcoming media should show it. According
to the news posts, the next updates will show off more characters, so
we will probably see soon.
So it looks like that Blues was rolling around in color paint just to fit in (Jackson Pollack would be proud)!

Every MMO needs a healer class, mate.
What's wrong? Cinnamon's cute. Besides, she and other CM characters were confirmed a couple of months ago.
Augh, where did my post linking gameplay videos even go? I know I posted here about that last year.
Good to hear they haven't entirely forgotten Command Mission, though. If nothing else, Command Mission gave a more distinct glimpse at life as a Reploid.
EDIT: http://sonichqcommunity.y...Let-us-change-that There's my post, it's in the other Rockman Online topic.
Damn. That first video was awesome. Well except for Zero smiling, which was kinda weird to see him so... happy. The movements and flow of the characters were so flexible (rubbery) and with such impact that is was a delight to watch.
As for the in game footage. I'm liking what I'm seeing so far. the "2.5D" looks clear and crisp. This game could be really great, if they don't get sidetracked.
Also, Is this game in HD?
