Mega Man Zero ending as me?

Everything about the megaman storyline(s) confuses me these days. I think it's even starting to confuse Keiji Inafune too.
MMX is screwed up, everything else is fine.
True. But there are still questions about how all the series are connected. And I think more should be done with the classic MM series. I felt like they left me hanging with some of the heavy things that went down in MM7 (like Megaman trying to kill Wily) and when MM8 came out it was kind of disappointed.
But yeah, MMX is the only series that's really messed up.
