Specks of light intruded his blured vision as he slowly came around. He took a deep breathe and tried to sit up but he couldn't. Where was he? What happened? His mind raced for a moment as he tried to think of his own name. "Tylor..." he breathed in a whisper. "Tylor Black..." He raised his hand up and held it in front of his face. When his eyes finally adjusted to the light, black blurry image of his paw was all he could see.
Tylor let if fall back to his side and tried to remember something that would explain this. He thought back and remembered how he had gotten into this pod. The Energy Plant in Sector five had a meltdown and he just happened to be patroling there. He had survived but he had Burmitisis Poisoning. He had been taken to Mobotropolis General Hospital. The doctors told him that Cryogenic Suspension was the only option that he really had and so that's what he did. It was only a few years later did they reawaken him and tell him that a cure had been found but he had to but under cryo in order for it to work, it had to work slowly or it would run the risk of killing you.
Tylor didn't know how long he had been lying there before his sight finally cleared. He found himself in a basement. But it looked more like a cave by now with fallen rocks and formed stalagtites and stalagmites. He sat up and decided to get out of the Cryogenic Suspension pod. Just how long had he been asleep that they would simply store his pod in an old broken down basement. As he looked around he noticed other pods. Most of them had been burried by rocks and others crushed completely by them. He was in complete shock, how could the hospital let them get in this condition? Something wasn't right.
Tylor walked over to the three other pods that were still in tact. If he had more hands he could unbury the ones that were covered maybe they would find someone alive. He walked over toward a second pod and looked at the controls. He found the emergency open button and pressed it. Then proceeded to the other two and pressed their emergency open buttons as well. After the white fog poured out the pod doors opened up. The ones inside slowly came around like he had.

Rules:
Okay peoples rules time, our most favorite tradition in an rp. There are no powers in this rp I've decided. Only limited supernatural stuff but that'll pop up later. Anyhoo there is little to no technology at all in this rp. Except for the pods which we will leave as soon as everyone wakes up. There are weapons but nothing to extravigant. I'm talking about Bows and arrows, axes or hatchets, stone daggers, and spears. There will be only three survivors, four if i make an exception but no more than that. The rest will have to be tribe members of the natives of this time. Two survivors are already taken so two or three remain.
There are three tribe members you can be.
1. A normal furry
2. A mutant furry or human (and i don't mean mutant as in cool powers, stuff like they have four arms or three eyes or tenticals, stuff like that)
3. A Human
Other than that yeah, so just follow the rules and the plot and you'll have a good time.
OOC: I'd like to be the human but I don't have much time to post now because I have to be off to work soon...
Stasis Pod 5 emergency re-animation process engaged
Life readings nominal
Disengaging life support
Draining Bio fluid
~~~~~
A small kitten, possibly ten, spilled out of the stasis chamber coughing as he gasped for air. His black fur still wet from the fluid that kept him preserved for so many years. He clawed at the hard floor before his eyes shot open. The sparkled in the little light that reflected off them in this dark place. Craigs ears twitched slightly hearing footsteps move about. What was going on? He wondered quietly to himself as his senses slowly began to return to him
Reanimation process engaging.....
Then another said figure was drained from the life-pod. THe figure was a dark grey colored rabit with black tipped ears. His teeth stained of a long since preserved tobacco addiction and his eyes full of knowledge. This was Jack Warteze, a thirty-seven year old head engineer of the former technical plant which had its meltdown a millenia ago.
The rabits sight blurred, and he coughed up as he was on his knees. "Man, what in hell happened?" he snarled as he held his forehead with his left arm. "Chrise..." he spat out.
OOC: I take that back...I'll be one of the tribe members of this time because I can't think of a suitable character as one of the survivors in the pods so someone else can take it...
One of the pods was practically kicked open by its occupant, unwilling to wait for the slow door to complete its task. A dark blue echidna with steely gray eyes hopped out of the stasis tube and yanked off the cream-colored hospital gown that was on him. He shook the remaining cryogenic fluid out of his fur and looked around intensely. Somehow, he didn't expect to see a cave when he woke up. Something unplanned happened.
"I have a bad feeling about this...", he mumbled to himself. The echidna shook his head; he felt like he had been sleeping for years. ...Which was to be expected.
Tylor looked around at the three that emerged from the cryo pods. "I don't know exactly what's going on but I know that this isn't Mobotropolis General hospitals method of storing Stasis pods. This room is to unstable... I'm afraid something must have happened on the surface and we have been trapped in this bomb shelter for quite a few years. Or it could very well be that we were mearly forgotten about... Either reason we have to see if anyone else is still alive in these other pods, i would appreciate any help you could offer, but by all means take your time to recover from stasis lag. By the way my name is Lt. Tylor Black, Mobotropolis P.D." The black wolf finished waiting for the others to introduce themselves.
"Jack Warteze, Head of Engineering and Mechanics at the plant which had a meltdown." the rabbit said as he introduced himself, slowly getting to his feet.
"Yeah, looks like hell happened here...." he mumbuled as he examined the surroundings.
Craig struggled a bit but managed to get up on his feet; Still a bit wobbling having not walked for so long but doable. He flinched slightly when the echidna busted his way out of his Cryo pod, which was strange really. The young kitten wasn't known to scare that easily at all really. When Taylor introduced himself the young feline just stared blankly at him for a few moments before tilting his head to the side ever so slightly. He couldnt really talk at this point in time, though the vocal cords were there and in top working order. Craig just wasnt the type to speak really
OOC: I may join. I just have a question, would my characters Mega count as a mutant since he had been experimented on or does he look too normal?
OOC: Can I join?
IC:
"Huh?" she felt an intense pain at the top of her head and she winced, her memoryn started to flood bak, and her vision too.
She forze in shock, a sharp rock was protruding through the glass inches next to her head. She shivered for a moment, knowing she'd come pretty close to being killed. She pushed at the rock but her body was tired.
"Help! Anyone there! I'm trapped in hispod, I can't get out! Hello?" She yelled, spitting out the cryogneic fluid.
TBC
ooc: okay we have the max amount of survivors. One more than what i would have liked but thats fine i guess. As for Mega, there would be no one within the years of his life to experiment on him anyway, all the mad genious's were wipped out in the war so no. I'm going to tell everyone the rules for mutants again. They do not! have super powers, they are mutated as in extra arms, eyes tenticals, more than one head, and the ones that looked like they are aliens from another world sorta thing. You can have abilities that goes with your mutant body. ex: you can juggle with three arms. uh you can jump a bit higher than a normal furry can. you're a bit faster than them, but not like sonic speed though.
Tylor looked over at the yelp that came from the stasis pod that was burried. It looked like the wall had given out just before he woke up and landed on it. He walked over toward the pile of rocks and climbed up them trying to dig down to get to the person trapped. That was his job to make sure the public was safe. The rocks were about the size of basketballs and were quite heavy. "Hang on in there!"
The echidna casually walked over to the pile of rocks and began aiding Tylor in removing them. The dark blue echidna seemed to have an easier time moving the large stones.
"My name is Midnight.", he said as he worked.
Tylor nodded toward Midnight and kept on pulling the rocks away from the pod until he could see the glass. And then the keypad. The pod was damage and anitiated the emergency awakening program, but the rocks kept the door from opening and the damaged the fluid draining system.
IC:
She heard movement and then a bit of light started gleaming through she felt a surge of hope and tried to heave at the glass to push off rocks, they shifted a little from the force of her attempts, but only a little.
She was then aware that she seemed to be running out of air to breathe, she turned her head a little and to her dismay saw that the fluid wasn't draining.
"I don't want to die like this!" she thought,
And started hammering at the glass, her clawed paw starting to make a small hole,
"I'm a jaguar and my name is Seana, I remember!" She thought wildly, glad to know her name and see the light growing wider, and her hole too.
TBC
OOC: Ok I can just have Mega's weird looks as a birth defect. And as for mutant furries, would weird things like large fangs, retractable claws, and wings count as well? And are the tribes people savage or friendly? I just want to clear things up.
OOC: I'm guessing (just guesssing) that the tribes could be either. Savage or friendly. *shrug* Here I come...
IC:
A caped figure walked over the land, climbing the hill to where the cave lay. No one had believed her, said she was crazy to assume such things. But then again, what did it matter? People were telling her she was crazy everyday. A falcon screeched overhead before swooping down to her shoulder and perching, eyes whirling. A black gloved hand reached out and stroked the bird on the head, and the figure smiled beaneath the hood at her pet chirped happily.
"Ah...Luvan, coming back to me, eh? And I thought you said you were tough." The calm voice of the stranger aroused the bird, causing him to ruffle his wings. Luvan pecked the woman's hand lightly, causing her to chuckle. "Now, now..I never said that."
Her brown boots made soft thudding noises on the rocky slope, fore-warning any who lay ahead. As she got closer and closer to the cave opening, her ears flicked back and forth beneath their covering, hearing voices...pounding, and the tossing of rocks.
"Well, then...I see I was somewhat successful." And with that, the stranger tightened her hand around her weapon.
"Move to the right side of the tube, Seana.", Midnight said calmly, picking up a large and sharp looking rock from the pile.
The echidna waited for her to do as he commanded and smashed the rock through the left side of the glass, creating a decent hole. He reached in, grabbed her arm, and hoisted her quickly out of the hole and away from the suffocating tube.
ooc: different tribes can be savage or friendly, depends really on which one you come across. Most of them speak their own languages and not the normal mobish. They praise their gods and whatnot. And they are smart but they just don't understand a lot of things. They are not schooled well and do not know how to read or write in our sence. They have their own methods of writing but there aren't any books from the old world left. There are still some who know the old language and teach it to others but there are very few left. Oh and another thing. There aren't any huge machines that can make cloth. All clothing is made by hand and leather from animals is also used. And this is like the indians yes tribes will kill an animal and use every part of it. if you are in doubt just think about what ancient tribes would wear, say, and do.
IC:
a child around the age of 13 watched the group wearily, ever so slowly making his way back to the cave entrance where he had come in. He wore nothing but a cloth shirt and leather pants. His friends must have taken off when they heard that wall colapse. Good thing he wasn't under it. He was startled enough and coughing trying to make his way through the dust that he bumped into one of the shiney things and made it beep. And then someone came out of it. He was shocked and amazed. What kind of thing gave birth to an adult? He finally came apon the exit and took off running as fast as he could. "FACIO FACIO!!! ALIENUS GENS!!!"
IC:
The woman looked up as a child came bolting out of the cave, screaming in slight panic. Luvan screeched and took off into the air, startled by the kid's sudden appearance. Not wanting to risk questions from the child, the stranger slunk behind a giant bolder lodged in the side of the hill. Her tails flicked noislessly back and forth in silence.
What on earth is the child doing? SHe narrowed her eyes. Moreso...why is he here?
[Hmph. Well, I have very little idea what this is about, but nevertheless I feel complelled to join...
Er, wouldn't it be 'currate'? You don't do Latin, do you?]
"Ton!" cried Mila wretchedly through the airborne debris, "dona auxilium mihi!" The young girl struggle, but the cinderblock that pinned her leg to the ground was too heavy, and finally, with a whimper of pain, she gave up. "abest..." she muttered to herself at last.
[If I made a mistake as far as storyline goes please tell. If I need to translate, the same goes.]
Craigs ears twitched to the sound of some one screaming and looked toward the general direction as the others helped uncover one of the stasis pods. It was still dark within the cavern but people of the feline variety had quite exceptional night vision. A few moments of wondering the kitten emerged from the cave and out into the sunlight of the outside world. A confused expression came across the young lads face as he looked around. Nothing was out here was as it should be
OOC: Ok I'm finally posting. Mega will come in later, but for now, I am going to use a new character who is a mutant furry named Nexus. I hope that he looks mutated enough for you.
IC: Up in the trees sat a strange green hedgehog. He was just enjoying a meal of rabit flesh when he heard a loud scream. He quickly picked up his spear and jumped down from the tree. He continued to move forward as the scream got louder.
Mila froze. Had she just seen movement. She narrowed her eyes, trying to detect something, but was distracted by her leg. It didn't hurt, exactly... it *burned*. Breathing harshly, she began to sob like the little girl that all times but ones like shes she most certainly wasn't.
Craigs ears twitched some more hearing a light sobbing noise come from back inside the cavern. He turned his head and looked into the darkness before entering the cave once more. A thick cloud of dust was still looming in one area and he could hear some scratching. The crying also became louder as he moved closer to its source. He moved cautiously toward the noise before he could make out a silhouette of a person pinned under a large rock. Moving closer a few more steps, making sure not to make a sound, he could start to make out a little girl that seemed to be close to his own age
[This is getting really painful - just say hi already, jump on her lap, it's not like she can do anything to him!]
Mila continued to sob quietly, although with less violence than before.
[If I don't get some interaction, someone *will* die. And quite painfully too...]
ooc: so i've been found out, i know no latin but at least somebody figured it was latin XD. I used an online dictionary to translate so bare with me, so im gonna use another language since this one is a little hard to translate all the words i need.
Ic:
"Shalu!! Shalu!!" the boy yelled out as he entered the village. He found a taller cream colored creature before him and he came to a quick halt to avoid colliding with her. She was an unnatural looking creature with cream fur and a thick teal mane that went from her head to the tips of her forked tail. She had a patch of white fur on her face and chest. The one on her chest resembled that of a crescent mark but a bit wider. Her feet were a bit bigger than they should have been but at the end of each toe was a sharp claw. She wore a simple short hide cloth over herself. "Shalu! adsumus in antre cum ... delatus est et Mila est haesa sub saxum... et gens alienus... exiit ab reis ferrorum!" the taller creature brushed teal hair out of her face and hushed the child.
"Mane Ton..." she ordered and she walked out into the forest. the boy obeyed and stayed in the village. Shalu on the other hand had a child to rescue. And there were stange people about in this cave that Ton had been talking about. There was a little bit of talk that the Keng's have been sighted in their territory again. She neared the entrance of the cave staying on Ton's scent that he had left behind when he ran away.
"I've got a really bad feeling about this..."
Midnight picked up a rock, the first weapon ever used by Mobians asides from bare fists, and tested its weight. It would do if things got ugly. Better than nothing.
"I think we should get out of this cave soon."
Shalu spotted the creature behind the boulder and decided to just ignore it only until it decided it wanted to attack. Her attention was on finding the child and getting it out of there. Who knew what they would do to her. She held out her bone dagger made from the bone of a giant Saber cat tail tip. She crept slowly into the entrance and along the wall. Keeping an ear open for anything. She could hear voices up ahead. She peered around a rock wall to see the small group in the bottom of the cave. And like Ton had said there were strange metal things in there. She heard the whimpering of the child and looked around for her.
Midnight suddenly looked up, his keen senses detecting the newcomer.
"Who is there?", he asked the shadow-covered stranger calmly. He let his arms hang limply and unthreateningly at his sides, but was ready to spring into action at the slightest sign of danger.
"Shalu..." the girl whispered, spotting her fellow tribesmember. "Shalu, esne ipse?" She snapped her head around nearly 180 degress, making sure they were alone.
[is it you, yourself?]
The mutant hedgie approached and noticed a strange cave along with other tribes people who were at an awe by the sounds from within. He completelly ignored the child and growled, pushing the others aside as he entered the cave. With his eyes glowing red, Nexus examined the empty stasis pods. He didn't pay attention to the other furries. The machines seemed starnge to himso he threw his spear right at one. He then finally noticed the survivors. He growled and began to approach them.
"Adsum mila. num es sana? aliquisne te vulneravit?" Shalu replied still not revealing herself. She snarled deeply when the mutant hedgehog pushed pasted her whipping her tail agitately.
['are you in good health' 'are you not uninjured?' 'has someone hurt you?']
Tylor looked at the creature. "what in the name of the gods is that thing?" the black wolf asked really wishing he had his piece at the moment.
Nexus grinned at the wolf. He mimicked in a strange way "Zat zin zeh zame fo zeh gods ziz zat zing?" he spun around and came closer. "Hrmmm....." he muttered as he continued to approach them. What are these strangers? They seem.... odd he thought to himself.
The price the mutant hedgehog paid for rushing in, making a lot of noise, and randomly throwing dangerous projectiles in the general direction of the awakened survivors was a big, heavy rock thrown solidly into his forehead with a thud that Midnight found quite satisfying.
With that one threat taken out of the picture and given a splitting headache (with the possibility of a concussion), Midnight returned his attention to the shadowed figure who spoke a language that the echidna didn't understand...but he did pick up the inquisitive tone of it, as well as the feminine sound of the speaker.
"I don't understand... My name is Midnight, and I mean you no harm..."
Maybe he shouldn't have thrown that rock. Too late.
Nexus got up and began to growl even louder. He poked out his claws and yelled, "OUUUU-yeh! OOOOOOOOY!" he rushed over and picked up his spear. The hedgehog then stomped towards the echidna. "Waz the big idea? Grrrr..... ake-teh is-they!" he then picked up the rock and threw it back at Midnight.
"Shalu," she sobbed, "egeo auxilii... Pes meus sub saxum est..."
Obviously it wasn't a good idea to anger someone like Nexus. He began to flap his wings and hover in mid air before charging. "AAAAAAAAAAARGH! ANGER! FRUSTRATION! IEEEE-DEH!" the two gray markings on his forehead began to glow a red color which was signaling his frustration."No ow-treh ocks-reh at NEXUS!"
Midnight watched the rock sail through the air calmly, dispassionately, almost detatched. At the last moment, he merely tilted his head to the side and let the rock fly past him harmlessly. Straightening back up, his grey eyes examined the mutant critically through half-closed eyelids with distain. He gave the air a quick sniff and he crouched down, intense eyes never leaving the hedgehog, like a predator ready to strike down his helpless prey. In that moment, he looked more like animal than Mobian, his dark blue fur making him blend into the darkness like a bruised shadow, only his eyes visible.
"Don't start something", he growled quietly, "that you can't finish."
"Can't inish-feh? HAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAA! I an-ceh inish-feh." he charged with his mouth right open, ready to bite and with his claws readu to slash him. Normally Nexus wouldn't be so vicious, but when angered, he goes wild. He crashed inot the ground, Midnight blened in too well. Now he was really ticked.
Her ear twitched hearing the childs cry again. She could no longer wait. With the other distracted by this unorthidox mutant. She could complete her rescue and get her back home.
"Mane, venio ad te iuvandum." She moved into the opening and jumped up onto a boulder. Jumping up and over the group using Nexus as a sort of stepping stone onto another boulder and down beside the child. There was a rather large chunk of rock pinning her down to the ground. She inspected it quickly to find the best way to get it up. She braced herself and put her hands in a couple of good spots and proceeded to try and lift it off of her leg.
['wait, I am coming in order to help you']
Nexus groaned. He didn't like to be used as a stepping stone. He continued to search for Midnight. "HEEEEEEEEEEERE ad-keh! RAAAAAAAAARGH!" Nexus completelly ignored the res of the group. He wasto busy trying to take his anger out on Midnight.
Midnight chuckled darkly as the mutant tripped over his own feet in the darkness and was then used as a stepping-stone by the mysterious female. He calmly paced in a slow circle around the fallen hedgehog.
"If you keep this up, I won't even have to fight you."
"Evil ad-keh hurt Nexus!" the hedgehog was too angry to quit so he continued to try and find Midnight. Each time he crashed.
Midnight sighed and shook his head, wondering what the problem was with the mutant. No self-control, no use of his mind, just shear, mindless rage. It was no match for Midnight's calculated skill and stealth. He picked up the hedgehog's dropped spear.
"I'm not in the mood for this crap."
With that, he wacked the crazed hedgehog over the head with the spear, breaking the wooden weapon. If that wouldn't stop the thing, then it had a thicker skull than Midnight thought.
The echidna walked off in the direction the female went. She seemed to have some sense in her head.
