I still wonder what has happened to Lily, she went missing two weeks ago, and still no one's found anything. People, kids really, have been disappearing all over the county, far more than usual. My parents are paranoid, they don't want o let me go out for too long, and they take me to school by car. But I'm not afraid, not that I'm complaining or anything but it can be a bit annoying, they are being over-protective!
At the moment school's boring...I miss Lily...can't think of anything else to write in this STUPID LOUSYJOURNAL!!! Thank goodness the Teachers never look in these things...

Jenny looked around the classroom, everyone else was working away at their journals, some weren't, doing doodles, passing notes, talking on cell phones while the teracher was out of the room, the usual. She looked absent mindedly out the window and started. There was something wrong with the air...
A black jagged line formed out of nowhere, then split open into a gaping black hole, sparking with random flashes of colour. Out of it stepped what could only be described as trolls, big, green, muscular. Wearing only loincloths, in their hands were clubs and axes, 3 were carrying nets and sacks slung over their shoulders, the last one came out armed with a tall formidable looking spear, he stood by the portal and ordered the others about, he was obviously the one in charge.
Jenny didn't know what to do, so she just pointed and cried, "Look!"
Most people turned to stare out the window at once, the others did too when they heard the gasps. Then one of the trolls began walking towards the classroom, a stupid grin on it's fairly ugly face, Jenny heard it grunt something under it's breathe which sent a shiver up her spine;
"Lots of lovely childrens for master, lots of 'em, yes yes...Garg fetch childries an' take 'em back to Zaela!"

OOC: Okay, you start at the school, you're a human aged from 12 to 16 years old. All you have to worry about at the moment is running from trolls, all will be revealed soon. All you need to know right now is that you soon won't be here on our Earth for much longer, you will be on planet Zaela, in another dimension. Where technology and magic work side by side. If you go through the portal then you change, recieve powers(transport magic(levitation or movement), fire, lightning, water/ice, vision/ghost(to se things beyond walls or leave your body to travel around invisibly to see things, but can be woken by somene touching your body) and gain animal attributes. You have to join to find out the rest, when you meet Lily....

Name: Lily Anderson (AKA Lily-A)
Age: 12
Gender: Female
Appearance: Blonde hair down to her shoulders, blue eyes, pale skin, fairly tall, thin.
Changed appearance: She is cothered all over with light white fur like a short haired cat, and has vague grey stripeS on her cheeks, arms and legs. Her eyes are goldy yellow, she has a long tail with a slight bulge on the end, and her fingers are tipped with clack claws, her canines are a little sharper. But otherwise she looks the same as when she was human.
Abilities: Is more graceful agile and good at stealth and balance, was already a faily good hacker of sorts but that is enhanced in that world with a not so good control of transport magic (what is used in computers on Zaela insted of wires, moving information from place to place).
History: Lily was a normal student until she was taken, she was just walking home when she got snatched by trolls, she ended up on Zaela but managed to escape from her cell using her abilities. Now she's trying to stop Lord Drazah from completing his plans by rescuing people from his henchman. She has a little HQ of her own hidden in the forest and has a kind of portal made from stolen information, she also has a magic powered computer which she uses to store information and search the web, she is trying to gather forces to fight Lord Drazah, but so far her rescue attempts haven't gone to plan.

Lily-A came out of the portal and landed gracefully on a tree branch, her white fur made her stick out against the green foliage, she looked and saw that the trolls were already here, Lord Drazah had beaten her again, but maybe there was still a chance.
She jumped down from the tree and went in an arch around the trolls, moving quickly she ran to the window of the nearest classroom and cried;
"Run run! If you want to live! Flee from the trolls! Get out of the classroom and run!"
Then she moved from window to window, crying her message until she came to one as she shouted it she saw her friend staring at her in shock. Maybe...she needed someone to help her.
"Jenny! Run or come and help me stop this! There is much you don't know but I'll explain it all once we're somewhere safe!"

Appearance: Long brown hair and lightly tanned skin, hazel eyes, average height, slightly muscular.
Changed appearance: Humanoid body mixed with shaggy grey/balck wolf fur, has a dog like tail and pointed furry ears, patches of fur on her arms, legs and very thick chest fur on her torso, lighter on her back. She has strong elongated fangs and black claws on the ends of her fingers, but not her feet. the rest of her is as it was before.
Abilities: Can jump higher, is stronger, can swim better, tracks things a little by sent, her hearing has increased, and her eyesight has sharpened but colours aren't as bright as before. Can bite things and claw them but can't control any magic.
History: She is best friends with Lily Anderson who went missing two weeks ago, she is a good student and likes adventure, though she is due to have more than she might be able to handle.

Then Jenny was distracted by the troll coming up behind the cat-girl who looked like her friend,
"Look out!"

OOC: Ooohhh...it's so creative I can't resist!

Name: Kim Durret
Age: 13
Gender: Female
Appearance: Shoulder length, dark brown hair with caramel streaks, black glasses, blue eyes, pale skin, fairly tall
Changed appearance: Large fox ears with reddish fur and silver/black wings, a fluffy fox tail, and longer nails.
Abilities: (when gone through portal) Has blades over her knuckles that can be retracted, can fly very fast, is very intelligent
History: Kim is a straight-A student who loves to sit at the computer all day. Due to her "geek" status, she tends to stray away from others, not trusting anyone else aside from her best friend Maria. She has a habit of being oddly aggressive when annoyed and would rather be left alone to do her own thing. Group has never been a strong point of hers.

IC:

Kim sighed as she went to wash her hands, unfastening the latch on the stall door. Turning on the faucet, she ran her hands under the cool water, soaping up to get the germs off. After rinsing the soap off, she ripped a paper-towel for herself, only then glancing at her reflection in the mirror. Kim frowned, scrunching up her nose.
"Huh...I look ok, I guess......"

Tossing the crumpled up towel in the trash, she sighed once again.
Naw...who am I kidding? I'm ugly as hell. (OOC: keep in mind this is her opinion, she's not really 'ugly as hell')

"Now, hurry on up to class..." She whispered while flinging the door open.

Turning a corner, she opened the door to her computer class, taking her seat next to a girl named Jenny. She didn't know her. Just her name. Relaxing her fingers, Kim adjusted her glasses and set to work on her entry for the day.

April 1 (10:15 AM)

Man, this April weather sure is annoying....I mean, first, it's cold! Then it's hot! With all these changes, my headaches are getting worse. Mum says I'll have to get special medicine if this stuff doesn't stop...

She paused.

Just another reason for the popular dweebs to pick on me. But anyway...my parents are starting to take some extra precautions lately. Why? Dad says it's all about the disapearance of that Lily girl...no idea who she is. In any case, it is getting a little rediculous. But I understan--

"Look!" Jenny shouted beside her, pointing to the window.

Immediately, Kim gasped, nearly jumping out of her seat as she spotted the trolled waiting outside.

OOC: looks interesting.

Name: Zackary (Zack for short) Holmes
Age: 13
Gender: male
Appearance: Zack is a fairly tall person for his age and a little bit on the scrawny side. He wears the color black often, usually a simple t-shirt and a pair of jeans with black sneakers. He has dark raven hair with bangs that reach over and cover his eyes from time to time. He also has pale skin and green eyes.
Changed appearance: Zack pretty much stayed the same though he looks sinister with his eyes being completely black.
Abilities: Mental abilities: Telekinesis (creation of barriers and throwing of objects with once own mind) and telepathy (mind reading, mind speech).
History: Zack is a pretty normal person a C/B student who only gets As in art class. Because of his choice of wearing dark colors (mainly black) other students at the school think of him a bit like an odd ball.

BiC:

Zack was sitting 2 desks away from Jenny, on her right. This was the part of the class he didnt mind all that much since it always gave him time to work out a few good sketches while the teacher went out for her usual coffee down at the teachers lounge. He already had filled most of his journal up with some pretty good fantasy like sketches and was now working on an Angel like figure. As he doodled away he took some time to look up to make sure it was still safe to draw, he had gotten in trouble for drawing in class several times in the past and didnt much like the long lectures. Once he was sure it was okay he continued on.

Look!

The voice shouted out but the young artist chose to ignore the warning thinking it was something unimportant and rather trivial. Maybe there was a fight going on out side, Zack really didnt much care and continued to draw. When several of the students around him gasped and screamed Zack took a quick glance to find out what was going on. His eyes widened in horror and if it was any more possible he seemed to get paler too at the site of the trolls.

Look out!

That same voice shouted out and Zack immediately saw what she was pointing out. On of the trolls coming up fast behind, what looked to be a cat person. He didnt stop to dwell on what it, despite the fact it seemed to look familiar to him. He quickly shot up from his seat, tipping it over in the process and ran toward the cat person. Im going to regret this I know I will he thought silently to himself just as he reached Lily, shoving her out of the way of the charging troll. Then everything went black

OOC: Ur...I'm sure there was a window or soemthing in the way but we'll say it was open.

IC:
Jenny leapt up as the troll hit Zack around the head, the black haired boy fell through the window and was promptly caught by the troll, who proceeded to drag him away.
She grabbed at his foot and tried to pull him back in, bt was instead dragged closer to the troll, she cried out in frustration as with a grunt, tug and twist he was pulled from her grasp. The green behemoth tied Zack's hands and feet together with some rope, then slung him carelesssly over its back. Then it looked carefully around the classroom vefore smashing the window with its fist.
Jenny jumped back and started throwing pencils and stuff at it, knowing this was probably pointless but she had to try.

"Here, pencils won't work!" Kim shouted, picking up her chair with much difficulty.

The girl tossed it toward the monster, staring in horror as it broke upon impact. All the troll did was chuckle. One of them took it a step further and climbed through the window, into the room. Most of the students had fled, save the odd few who had tried to fend off the creatures. Kim turned around and ran behind the teacher's desk, looking for something that might be of use. All there was were pencils, pens, markers, and the like....nothing useful.

Oh man, oh man, oh man.... Kim bit her lip, staring frantically at the troll that was in the process of grabbing more kids.

"Shiznit..." She muttered, grabbing the teacher's keyboard and ripping it from its ports. "I know I'm durn well gonna regret this!"

Sprinting up to the monster, Kim used the keyboard as a sort of axe, jumping up and ramming it into the troll's neck. The troll sent out his arm, sending Kim sprawling across the floor, yelping.

"Owwww..."

IC:
Lilly was pushed out of the way by a boy she didn't remember the name of and watched in horror as he was grabbed by the troll. In anger she (I should have mentioned transport magic is basically telekinises. Soz) lifted one of its weapons with transport magic, and threw the spear with force at its stomache. It stopped chuckling and groaned instead.
"Oi. That not nice, that 'urt!"
The troll turned slowly towards Lily and grinned evilly,
"Here kitty kitty kitty."
"Oh shutup." She cried in an annoyed tone, she was fed up with that remark.
With brisk spurt of speed she darted past the troll and leapt gracefuklly through the window. A troll was already in here.
"Hey, need a hand?"

OOC: Um..I'm pretty sure Zack is unconcious right now. xD

IC:

"Erg...aaaAAAAHHHH!! Lemme go, ya big green oaf!!" Kim screeched, as the one she had attacked picked her up by her legs.

Her head was beginning to throb from being held upside down, which made her vision somewhat blurry. She parted her hair to see Lilly. Desperately Kim tried to wave her arms for help, but the action made her head hurt worse, and soon enough, she had her hands tied behind her back.

"Oooohhh...LET. ME. GO!!!"

The troll chuckled again. "Ain't 'sposed to do that, girly..."

"Watch it, buster! I'm no 'girly'!" Kim narrowed her eyes.

OOC: I KNOW I'm gonna regret joining this (I'm in too many as it is, but it's just too good to pass up)

Appearance: Wild red hair, almost unaturally blue eyes, has just left her 'awkward stage' and is now quite attractive (Boy, am I creative...:P But just wait...:P) she constantly wears animal-print (Faux fur, NEVER real, she dispises when even her parents friends wear real fur) clothing; mainly stripes.
Changed appearance: Semi-anthro (aka. can walk on four feet or two and has hands that can double as paws) Thylacine (Or tasmanian tiger/wolf)with same eye color and a firey hair
Abilities (when gone through portal): undiscovered as of yet...possibly fire
History: Quite rich,is under the delusion that she's a princess (But not a 'typical' one) from some far off land, and sometimes talks in a strange way, (for example using 'thee,' 'thy,' and 'thou.' and referring to herself in third person) for which she was sometimes ridiculed (Though, with her take-charge, tomboy-ish attitude, no one would make fun of her to her face), Slightly know-it-all-ish and eccentric., Has a penchant for unknowingly stumbling into troble.

Kendra McDoogleshire, otherwise known as Stripes (a semi-accepted nickname), That-Crazy-Girl (behind her back), or Princess Kendrithenzia of Zarabindi (in her own mind)had had the extreme misfortune of being outside when the portal opened. Well...I supose this is what Her Highness Kendrithenzia gets for skipping that dreadfully boring study session.... She thought absently to herself. She sighed. I supose this is where the Princess has to come to the rscue and save all these commoners She thought, though it was not as haughty a thought as one might think it was, had they been able to read her mind. She actually quite enjoyed the possibility of getting to kick someone's rear that truely deserved it.

She approached the chaotic scene, walking tall and proud. Addressing the nearest troll that was trying to stuff a trembling little kid in a sack, she spoke, "I say, ugly, what in the name of the High Zarabatha do you think you are doing?! Release that child AT ONCE!"

The troll turned a jowly, rot-toothed face toward her, growling, "Durr...Who yous callin ugly, Lanky?"

"Why, you of coarse...LANKY! How dare you! I'll show ya lanky ya big oaf!" She said, lapsing back into what she called 'common-talk.' She took a clumbsy swing at the troll's face...and ended up on her rear.

The beast chuckled and advanced on her, grinning.

Kendra was immediately on her feet, ready for a fight, her princess dementia momentarily forgotten. What she didn't see was the other, far more burly troll that was sneaking up behind her. With surprising speed for something that brawny, he had thwacked her upsided the head and tied her arms behind her back. She was immediately out cold. The big troll then proceded to stuff her in his sack, which he then slung over his shoulder.

The first troll stood indignantly before him. "Hey! Dat was gonna be my pris'ner! Givat here!"

The large troll just shoved the other one aside and made for the portal silently.

The troll turned to face her and screwed up his face in concentration;
"Hey, have I seen you before?"
Temproarily distracted Lily leapt up and kicked the troll in the face, landing back down safely, he swayed for a bit then fell over, knocked out cold.
She grinned,
"One down and-oh heck I think I broke my foot!" she'd tried to get up and almost fell over from the pain, the trolls skull had been thick.
"Oh darn it!"
She pulled her self up with a desk and then levitated herself off the ground with transport magic,
"Great. At this rate I'll be watsed before I can save anyone"
The cat girl then looked to the girl she'd just freed, getting up from behind a pile of desks she'd fallen behind, she dusted off a few pieces of splintered wood and turned to her,
"Thanks."
"No problem, look, I'm not sure how many of you I can save. But please, I ask you, help me to fight the cause!"
"What do you mean?"
"The trolls, help me fight their master, this sort of thing has been happening all over the world, and so far I'm the only person who knows what's really going on and tried to stop it, or really been able to for that matter."
She seemed to remember a name...
"Please Kim."

Jenny felt so helpless, behind the troll she saw another girl get grabbed, that Kendra girl.
She stepped back as the cat girl that reminded her of Lily jumped through the window, helping Kim with the one inside. Jenny wasn't sure what she was doing but she had to try soemthing.
She jumped through the window, landing awkwardly and getting up and running, heading for the portal. She suddenly turned and shouted,
"Hey! You trolls! Come on you cowards! Come get me I dare you! You stupid ugly great brutes!"
"Ugly! Stipid! Why you little snack I'll get you for that!"
Jenny turned round to see the leader heading right towrads her, and several others awell.
"Okay, that went well."
She started running away from the troll who with long strides was starting to gain on her,
She sneaked a quick glance behind her and saw that most trolls were now following her,
"This can't be good." then she tripped, rolled and picked herself up again, but now the troll leader was closer...much closer.

Zack groaned lightly in pain as his body was dropped to the ground. The troll that had captured him seemed to have keeled over thanks to the help of the cat girl. He had no idea how or why or even what was going on around him at this very moment. For right now however he was simply wondering why his arms and legs were bound while dealing with a serious pulsating pain in his head.

Lily waited for the girl to reply, getting nervous becuase she was taking too long, she heard something behind the ruined desks and went to investigate, the boy who'd helped her was waking up.
"Hey are you alright?"

Peachy Zack replied groggily. The teen then pushed his bangs off to the side so he can get a clearer look at who was speaking. Needless to say he was surprised to see a Cat girl. The whole thing didnt seem possible; then again Trolls coming out of a swirling mass of light was quite all that natural either

Kim paused for a moment, almost on the verge of nervous laughter...this whole thing was crazy! Within the first few minutes of this fight she had been asked to "aid the cause". What cause? she wondered. I'm nothing but a crazy average girl...

However, something inside her urged her to stand up straight, and look toward Lily firmly.

"I have no idea what the heck this is...or how someone as average as myself can help, but if you're who I think you are...." Kim paused once again, going out on a limb. "...Lily, right? Well..I guess.....I-I guess I'll try to help."

OOC: Sorry, my post from before was eaten. ><

OOC: That's okay, my original post was eaten and then later regurgitated, so I know how you feel.

Lily heard her reply with relief, she finally had an ally.
"Thankyou, now,nyou'd better stick close to me, we'll have to get out of here pretty soon, can you help me gather up anyone left?"

"Aw hell!" She cried as she scrambled to her feet and ran again then she felt a pang of fear as the realisation that a large shadow was looming over her. Then she was grabbed by the shoulder and lifted up in the air.
She attempted to struggle free but he simply threw her into a scak and tied it up.
Now truly helpless she still struggled and with a sinking heart realised she wouldn't escape.
She started to call for help, but then she was struck buy the troll, now dizzy and with a rather large headache she shut up, there was a rip in the cloth.
She turned to look through and bit her lip, she was being taken towards the portal the trolls had come through she sat watching in horror as she was taken closer and closer then she was infront of it.
"Okay grirly, you get to see your nu 'ome now." Garbled the troll.
And with that it chucked her through the gate.

With a thump she landed somewhere on something hard and cold like stone. the sack rippled then disappeared, she was in some kind of medieval style dungeon cell.
She felt really ill and sleepy, Jenny wondered if there was such a thing as being portal sick.
Drowzily she crawld to a corner of the cell and collapsed, dimly aware of a sign on the cell.

In red paint with rather dopey looking hand writing.
"Where the hell am I now..." she mumbled as she fell unconscious. In the cold place which the troll had said was her new home, or at least that's what it sounded like anyway.

"Umm...ok, sure." Kim looked around the ram-shacked computer lab and bit her lip. Other than Zack, she didn't see anyone. Must've run for it.... She thought. Prolly what I shoulda done.

Then a thought struck her, and the girl ran over to the window, just in time to see a sack being hurtled into the portal. With a tiny squeak, Kim's eyes widened.

"Oh no! They got someone!" She cried.

IC:
Lily swung round and groaned at the sight of the triumphant looking troll she saw another troll heading for the portal as well, she judged the distance and knew it was to late for whoever was in the sack too.
"Darn it. Okay, I'll have to speed things up, their portal's going to shut down soon, meaning so will mine." She looked back to the boy,
"Look, I know this is weird, but please come with me, I'll explain more on the way, but at the moment I need you to come with me, otherwise the trolls will get you, by now they'll have got anyone who didn't escape in the first few minutes. Which could be quite a few depending on how quickly the rest of the students reacted."
Suddenly taking a run and jump through the window she turned back to the others,
"Quickly, there isn't much time."

Zack slowly stood up, wobbly at first but managed to steady himself off. The teen gave a nod and swallowed. He wanted to help but he wasnt all to sure about this whole thing. Needless to say however, he quickly followed the feline once she dashed off toward the portal. She was fast, by the time he had made it to the window she was already standing there waiting.

Zack stopped there and looked back into the class room then back at the cat girl. There was still a huge part of him that just wanted to run off and hide in the janitors closet until this whole thing passed.

Quickly, there isnt much time.

Zack then closed his eyes and took in a deep breath to calm himself. His eyes opened once more before stepping through the window and ran toward Lily, and the portal

Lily grabbed Zack's arm and wung him around, acing a different direction.
"It's that way. I've got my own portal."
Looking back into the classroom again.
"Come on Kim!"
