OOC: okay peoples this is pretty much a ressurected rp from the oldest board artail had. I didn't like they way it turned out back then. so im gonna see how it'll go here. And since all my stuff on it were destroyed by a stupid lousey defaulted piece of poo disk. i have to start from scratch so there'll be some changes.

Okay and Rules. This is a good ol fashioned rp no mech's, not so much magic, erm, lets keep the high tech guns to a minimal, what else bugged me about endangered *thinks* okay i think thats mostly it. no powerplaying as you all know.

The plot is basically they are out in the middle of the forest somewhere miles and miles from Knothole. And just for the fun of it nobody will know where knothole is. Except for one and i've already discused it with him.

IC:

Hiding in the bushes a young orange furred fox lay wait while her prey neared the trap she set up. Her blue eyes sparkled in anticipation as she waited patiently for a good hour before it finally came out of his burrow at the smell of food nearby. The rabbit sniffed around as it hopped slowly closer to the carrot sitting atop of a hand woven net. The fox licked her lips hopefully waiting for the right moment the yank the rope and catch her dinner. She brushed her long bangs from her eyes so she could see better but accidentally hit a branch. The rabbits ears flew up as it looked around for any danger. The fox stopped breathing and watched almost sighing happily when the rabbit went back to sniffing around the carrot. When it hopped onto the net she roughly yanked the rope causing the net to fly up around the rabbit trapping it in the net. It tried to escape by flailing around inside the net but it was no use. The vixen jumped up happily almost loosing her grip on the rope and ran up to her prize. She grabbed the net and pulled the rope off of the branch and walked back to her little encampment.

She grabbed her starting stick and piece of wood. With her knife she carved out a little knot in the wood. She put the stick into the shallow knot and with the stick in between her hands be began to rub her hands together causing the stick to spin. When her hands got to close to the wood she moved them back to the top of the stick and did the process over again until the wood began to smoke. She grabbed some dry grass and put it into the knot and blew on it until it caught fire. She added more to get the flames going higher. And then she put some smaller sticks on it to get it going. After she started the fire rolled up the sleeves of her jacket and cleaned her dinner. Skinning it first and then she cut it open and pulled out the inners. She cut it up and set it inside a pan over the fire to cook.

She took a pan and walked over to a small stream and got some water to boil. Beside the fire she cut up a bunch of vegetables that she had found in the forest. Her grandmother had taught her which plants were eatable and which were not. The pot of water had come to a boil and she poured the diced veggies into it. She stirred the rabbit meat so it would cook evenly. When it was done she added it to the mixture and it all smelled so good. She placed the pot in the middle of the fire to boil. She got into her bag and pulled out a leather pouch. She pulled out some spices that she made herself and sprinkled it into the pot. That would give it some extra flavor. It was now starting to smell delicious and she could hardly wait to taste it. She grabbed her stirring stick that she had found and made into a wooden spoon and began stirring the stew. The wind was carrying the scent away from the camp now. She set the wooden spoon down and noticed her boots were untied and leaned against the tree to tie them.

She relaxed after she was done and waited for the yummy smelling stew to cook though and be ready to eat. She wrapped her two tails around herself as she waited. She was fourteen now it had been a whole year since her grandma died. Since then she made it her mission to find her family. All she had was a photograph of them that her grandma had given her. It was a picture of her mother and father. She didnt even know what her little brother looked like. Her mother and father hadnt had a chance to show her or her grandmother. She wondered if they were even alive. She had to keep looking though. If she gave up now the irony of finding out later that they were alive and she had a chance of finding them would have just been stupid. She stopped thinking about it. She would worry about it later after she fed her stomach. She looked over at the pot. She always made so much food and never ate it all. She shrugged to herself. Had she had a way to save it she would have. It would have saved on spending more time catching more food.
