This is the RP Character Discussion thread. The point of this thread is to post roleplaying characters here and receive feedback on those characters. This will help newbies create characters that can fit into RPs, and oldbies can use this to refine their own characters.
This is NOT to be confused with the 'Post Your Character Profiles Here' thread. You do not have to post all of your characters here. This should also not be confused with discussion of official characters - like Sonic, Knuckles, Mega Man, etc. Those guys already have whole forums dedicated to talk about them, anyway. This is for original fan-made characters for use in RPs in this forum, although you can also post characters that you plan on using in other forums as well.

Posting rules: All of the standard rules for this entire board and this specific forum apply to this thread (i.e., don't post pointless characters that you have no real intention to play, no obscene or profane descriptions, etc.).
You can post opinions on other characters, ideas on how to make the characters more realistic or interesting, point out flaws or strengths that don't make sense with the rest of the character or cross each other out, and analyze characters.
However, there is to be no bashing of characters. That means that you don't make a one-line post saying, "That's stupid!" If you don't like a character, you're free to say why, but keep it inoffensive and constructive.
Important: You may not post a character in this thread until you have made a separate post that discusses a character already posted in this thread. When you have done that, you may post ONE character. After that, if you want to post another character, then you have to post regarding someone else's character again. You do not have to post a character to discuss other characters. DO NOT make a post commenting about someone else's character and in that same post put in a character profile for review. Please keep character profile posts separate from feedback/discussion posts.
If you don't want to hear opinions about your character(s), then don't post your character(s) here. 'Nuff said about that.
You do not have to follow a specific profile format. So long as you describe your character's appearance, personality, abilities/skills/powers, and where you think you'll use that character, then that should be all that's necessary.
