First of this is a semi serious RP. Anyone who has seen the teen titans tv series knows it can get serious at times, but is wacky fun at others. I hope this will be a blend which is fun but allows for good roleplaying opportunities.
The time is present Day, the place is the united kingdoms (England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales). The purpose of this RP is definately not to make fun of England (as I and friends live here and we will say mean things to you if you do). You don't have to be british to take part in this RP(but it helps), but in most cases you character does. If you wish to discuss a character who is not from england I can be AIMed at BFFG1@aol.com and e-mailed at teh same. I will be limiting foreign characters as that isn't the point of this RP.
There are a few simple rules
1: this RP is not to make fun of the British
2: no power players please
3: no carbon copies of other characters (I don't need a black and white english wolverine called badger)
4: please ask other players if they are comfortable with you RPing their character in you posts (I am not for example, caus I'm driving the plot 😛 )
In your opening post I would like character stats (I'll post a template) and a short opening post, when enough people have joined or no more people are going to, I'll get the ball thoroughly rolling. Note people will not actually start as members of the titans, I'll mention this as part of my opening post.

description: Tall, looks about 19 spiked white/blonde hair with about a foot of hair tied back, wears white leather clothes with lots of zips and buckles along with fingerless gloves, boots and a trenchcoat and small pieces of armour (vambraces, shoulder gaurds, breastplate) all metal is silver. Merlin also carries a thin white staff slightly taller than he is made of a very strong substance out of habit

powers: has powerful magic, can fire light energy and create jewel like focus points. Can create solid objects from light such as a sword, which he is moderately proficient with. Also has the ability to create small teleport gates. Even though he has mostly lost he ability to transform can still turn into a white falcon and a dragon made out of shining white energy
personality: very nice and accepting, occasionally slips and talks in thees and thous, if you get him angry though he is big into vengeance
backstory: The merlin from lengend lived backwards meanin he aged in reverse , remembered the future and forgot the past because of the way he lived. Merlin survived to this day by being trapped in stone for thousands of years. he has gained the ability to learn forwards, so he can remember a lot of the past now, but he still has memory lapses.
Merlin was released in america by the current titans on a mission and neglecting to join them, instead accepting their offer to lead a UK branch of the titans. This was a year ago, after building titans tower and learning what the present day is like, Merlin is setting out to build a team.
Merlin ocasionally sends reports to Robin and will do so until the Team is complete and has been strong for several months. However Merlin still keeps strong contact with Raven as he is quite enamoured with her.

Description: Psyclone dresses in a full royal blue bodysuit which spares his hands and head.
He wears gold bracers and a gold chain brooch, which fastens his long blue cloak to his shoulders.
His hair is of a rather dark shade of brown, and his eyes a deep royal blue, matching his costume.
Powers: Psyclone possesses powerful psionic abilities, derived from his metahuman DNA. As a result,
he can use telepathy to communicate through thought alone, read minds, and even plant suggestions,
although he prefers not to manipulate people's thoughts. His psychic powers also allow him to use
telekinesis to levitate and manipulate objects (throw cars, turn doorhandles, etc). He also uses this to fly.
Whenever his powers manifest, he is surrounded by a thin blue aura, a glow which also appears in his eyes.
Prsonality: Psyclone is a calm, polite, rational individual, or at least he tries to be. Unfortunately,
he isn't that good at coping with stress, and has a habit of blowing his top when he's had a bad day.
He also has a highly inquisitive nature, which often comes off as annoying.
Bckstory: Psyclone was born to a middle-class English family, and developed his metahuman powers
at the unusually early age of five. For the most part, he had tried to keep his powers a secret from the outside world,
but alas, as his body began to mature, his powers only grew stronger, and eventually,
he used them in public without thinking. Since then, he has abandoned public schooling and typical
employment in favour of becoming a superhero.

Age: (Resists temptation to say "unknown"... again) 18
Nationality : I'm from that country... you know, the one with the people. Who talk English properly.
Description: Giant mutant-lizard-landshark-armoured-tank-spiky-glowing-eyes-big-claws thing. About 8/10 feet tall.
Powers: DNA manipulation- the ability to alter his DNA, either temporarily and quickly, or slowly and permanently,
to increase his strength and powers. However, is stuck in the form he's currently evolved to.
Current form powers: superhuman strength, superhuman toughness, armoured skin, slow regeneration, weak telepathy,
high reaction speed, steroids/endorphins that can give temporary strength/speed boost but tire him later,
ability to digest/draw nourishment from pretty much anything, poison/gas/disease/whatever resistance
personality: Fairly irritable (due to being stuck as an 8-foot reptile), fairly serious, but rather enjoys
smashing things and people.
Backstory: Bioengineered weapon/secret laboratory/gripping escape/lost memory/seeking purpose blah.
Name: Impurity
Gender: Male
Age: 15
Nationality : English
Description: Tall and blonde haired. Medium build. His suit is a black sleeveless
traditional-super-hero-body-suit-thingy, with a navy blue strip down the left part
of the front. He also has black gloves, and black boots. His eyes are black,
and seem very deep, when you stare into them.
Powers: Impurity has power over shadows, which is very useful for distractions and
tricking enemies. He can also form objects (Although he has limits) from shadows-
he mostly uses this power for weapons.
Personality: Tries to be friendly to people, but isn't very good at it.
Quite a few people think he's an uncaring jerk, but he isn't. He quite enjoys
gardening. Likes animals a lot- if he wasn't a superhero, he'd want to grow up
to be a vet.
Backstory: When he was very young, he got severely injured and needed a blood
transfusion or else he would die. For some mysterious reason, odd DNA had gotten
into the blood he was given, and it caused him to develop these powers. It's not a
great backstory, but it works, doesn't it?

Name: Liam Gallanagh (I'll edit back with a superhero name, which shall also double
as stage name, when I think of one)

Age: 19
Nationality: Irish
Description: Liam is tall, standing 6'2", and incredibly lanky, with blue eyes and long,
brown hair styled in the fashion of 80's hair metal and heavy metal bands. As of the start
of the RP, he is wearing a tight, garish, pink, spandex cat-suit with silver trim; bright,
golden boots; and a matching gold cape.
Powers: Liam, when using a played musical instrument as a focus, is able to concentrate
and reshape the sound waves produced into beams, blasts and waves of either sonic or
electromagnetic energy at his discretion. The amplitude determines the strength of these
attacks and the technicality of his playing the accuracy. When he is lacking his trusty
Gibson Flying V or any other guitar to use as a focus, he can, alternatively, play air
guitar (which is by far less accurate), or summon a guitar made of energy (which requires
energy to maintain and thus weakens his attacks). As far as mundane abilities go, he is
fairly agile, but also pretty weak physically. He has some melee combat experience, mainly
from drunken bar fights.
Personality: Overall, Liam is a fairly friendly, happy and optimistic person, although he
can get irritable when he's been drinking. He is fairly intelligent and very confident,
even arrogant and extravagant, and curiously polite and chivalrous towards women. His
interests include music, litterature and history.
Backstory: Liam was born originally in an obscure Irish village and moved to mainland
Britain a year ago to seek fame and fortune. Though an exceptional musician, he has no
academic or vocational qualifications to speak of and as such had no hope of anything more
than a meager existence otherwise. He is currently struggling to make a living, with his
main source of income being his position as lead guitarist of a local classic rock covers
band. No-one (as far as he knows) but he, however, is aware of his extraordinary powers...

The rain seem to bounce before it hit Merlins trenchcoat, he sighed as a flash of memory told him it would stop in about 3 minutes. He also knew a villain calling herself Black Plague would appear here and wreak havocin a shot while. He counted silently and people started screaming after a short wait. The rain had stopped and people were running from a woman who, strangely was floating slightly off the ground, she was wearing a ravens mask and a long cloak of feathers, as well as a lot of black leather which barely covered her curved hips and generous bosom. The woman cackled evilly and shook her waist length black hair as she pulled a small vial from her belt, holding it between her long laquered fingernails before throwing it to impact on the chest of a young man. The potion smashed and instantly the man mutated into a huge half rat creature with terrible claws and fangs. he slowly trooped to her side along with several others she had already turned.
"Fools, you cannot stop the Black Plague!" she yelled as her rat-ogres turned over a police car with little effort.
Merlin sighed again and waited for the heroes he would recruit to appear before doing anything.
