Tobias nodded and looked down at his charge with a look of helplessness, "Lead the way... Please."

[[OOC: Due to lack of WT on MSN, so I can tell him this is continuing, I can assume his character took off (unless WT posts after me) sometime after Otis left.]]

It wasn't too long before Otis had found himself in the town, and asked around where some medical assistance could be found, he decided to keep the cause of it subtle as he did not need the village in entire panic. The old Cat returned into the tavern with a Doctor of the village, a old fox male with a large sack at his side for supplies.

Seeing the tavern in a bit disarray he turned to Otis, "What the-" Otis stopped him. "That isn't important right now, I need my friend over there... his wounds stitched. The doctor would look to the 'Humanoid' clearly frowning. "You want me to help a Overlander? The cause-"

Otis stopped him again. "It doesn't matter, I'll compensate you. Now it'd best for you to hurry before the people who did this return."

The doctor was a bit taken back by this but knew the Cat probally had a good reason.

The Doctor would then find himself closer to Drew and work on stitching the wounds....

"Right." Seven turned about face and walked ahead, taking one more look at Tobias and Henry. She felt helpless and weak, not being able to really do anything to help.

Crickets chirping softly in some nearby bushes seemed to have a sort of calming effect, though it did very little for the ferret except remind her of reality.

She would occasionally twiddle the crescent moon and star-shaped pendant on her necklace with her fingers; strange how it almost seemed to glow in the pale moonlight...

Soon enough, first signs of daybreak started to show over the horizon. Seven figured they'd spent the past hour and a half or so walking.

"It shouldn't be too long now," she stated, albeit with some hesitation and uncertainty. "I can probably estimate about another three or four hours at best."

As the doctor began to sew Drew's strange wound, the young man looked on how the old fox worked. He was beginning to understand the strange fate he was resigned to on this world-how he would be looked at with fear and contempt no matter where he would seem to go.

Drew's wound was strange to-thanks to his body's inhuman metabolic rate, his wounds would always regenerate quickly. But this wound-hell, the blade basically cauterized the flesh when it impaled it. These...Orderlings...were a serious force to be reckoned with.

Soon, Drew's wounds were patched up, and he stood up, stretching his arms. A slight tinge of pain still remained from his wound. For the first time in his life, Drew Mears had been scarred. He was sure this would not be the last.

After the working of Drew's wounds, it took awhile to explain what happened for the most part to the doctor so he could inform the town for the most part. It managed well due to Otis' behavior and how he handled the manner. The doctor was content that they had driven these... white-cloaked beings away from town. Even though it was apparent he was worried about them returning. With some hesitation, he managed to explain to the other villagers what happened and over-exaggerate how the old cat and Overlander saved them from these new foes.

A Overlander!

You'd think with Robotnik's force that no Overlander would be rightfully respected, even a little. Upon a while, he returned assuring the villagers understood and thanked them both. Upon that, Drew and Otis would retire for the night in the Inn while the other set of Heroes steadily approached the village. By morning, perhaps... they both would cross paths.
Morning came soon enough, the first floor for the most part (and only part damaged) was in decent condition besides a thin coverment of the hole in the wall that was made during one event in last night's battle. The first floor was a little active, as the tavern had been restaffed with the few that had died the previous.

Otis leaned on the wall of the room Drew and he hand bunked themselves in, sharpening his sword before putting it back in it's wooden sheath. Drew seemed to stil lbe sleeping, but he couldn't blame him. He took quite a beating....

Even at that, the tavern and the village itself was already apparent to the group that had been traveling a long time. Kaze and Company had reached the place.
