Greetings all!

I was just thinking about the Sonic books published in the UK by Virgin and thought we could play "spot the cultural references" (clearly I have too much time on my hands!).

To start the ball rolling, in Silicon Warriors there's a piece of dialogue that comes straight out of the Princess Bride (If you wish her dead, by all means keep moving closer).

In Castle Robotnik, we have homages to various horror movies (Friday the 13th, Hellraiser, Nightmare on Elm Street etc.).

Anyone spotted any more? I'm sure they're there!

Apologies in advance to those folks who have not yet had the opportunity to read these books, but I don't think cultural reference spotting will be spoilers. At least I hope not, correct me if I'm wrong.

Wow I didn't know anyone actually remembered these things! I thought I was the last one. :smile

Umm, well of course in castle robotnik you have the jurassic pork thing XD and umm... Capone the rat is obviously a vermin version of Al Capone. Speilbot, Eggor... and in Silicon warriors, you have the charactors from Road Warrior (street fighter) making an appearance...I can't think of any quotes right now though...I'll go have a look *goes off to re-read them.*
