Whose name ever saw print in the comic? Either by getting a letter or picture printed, winning a competition, or something like that.

I still remember that thrill of excitement one breakfast time as I opened up the latest issue and saw my name on the inside front cover in the list of competition winners of those jacket patches. Can't remember the exact issue number, I think it was either 91 or 92.

My name appeared in a UK issue, in a letter. I think I was asking why someone hasn't made a device to copy Mega Drive cartridges to give to your friends.

Unfortunately, I hadn't quite realised that this was slightly illegal :)

If anyone recalls that letter, and has a scan of it, that'd be awesome.

Since the posts have gone, I might as well mention again that I hold the joint record for the most letters printed in StC 😉

I still haven't been able to get to my collection and count up. I think her first name may've been Helen, but I still can't remember it fully.

If I can get your names I can happily look up and scan them for you. I never got my pictures or letters printed but I did recive a few letters back from them with free gifts for my efforts.

Once I sent in a blueprint of a Knuckles action figure (which I still have today) the scary thing is, the sonic adventure series 1 figures which were made a few years ago by resaurus had a Knuckles figure with the same dimensions moving parts and accessories as my idea. You can literally hold it up to the paper and it matches the shape...if STC were still alive, I could perhaps investigate and sue :insane

I remember that letter about blank Mega Drive cartridges pretty well.

I would go hunting for it, but I wouldn't have a clue where to start looking amongst those 200-odd issues and never really get the time to look in each one individually.

Gawd this is going way back!.I was the first guy to get a Knuckles drawing printed in STC(Slightly disturbing that I still draw him from time to time even now...).

Hi! I once had a letter posted in the mag, was probably amongst one of the earlier issues. I'd love to read what i wrote, but unfortunatly I threw the issue away for some random reason! Argh! I'd love to read what i wrote, I was about 9 so it was probably a load of random rubbish! haha! So if anyone's got earlier issues of the magazine and wouldn't mind quickly looking through the letters pages, i'd be most grateful. I'd love to know what issue it was in so that I could go on the hunt for a copy. I could email anyone any details if they needed them. :]

I had a letter printed post ish #100. I wrote in asking what happened to shortfuse following the EMP. The ext issue, they printed the story showing what happened to him. Nice timing, eh? :D

Fab! At least you can remember what you wrote though! Hehe! Aww man, I used to love those comics!! Did they keep the same prize for the letters page throughout all the issues? I think I got a sonic binder and stationary set (or something along those lines) when I had my letter published. What did everyone else get? :jester

I was supposed to get either a sonic and knuckles "hog tag" or a s&k mug. However, they wrote saying that they were out and sent me a sonic 2 jacket patch and a badge instead.

I don't think I ever got my name printed, even though I sent in tonnes of fanart.
I did E-mail Richard Elson with a picture though, and he actually replied, does that count?
