Was there any? Admitadly I was young and a bit more naive at the time I read it, but the only hints of romance I remember were Amy Rose being after Sonic (although he wasn't really interested) for a while, and maybe having a thing with Lightfoot later... And I got the idea that Shortfuse had a thing going with the bird, but that's about it, TMK. I think this is a shame, as looking at Archie now (before the past few weeks I was completely unaware of any sonic comic beyond STC) the romantic interest is vastly intreaguing, but perhaps because it's aimed at an older audience. Reguardless, I think STC could have got a lot from this sort of thing, but please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
I think Tails has had many CRUSHES, but no real relationships. There have been stories that show he enjoys female attention, though that's probably more to do with wanting to be famous.
I've always thought that the population of Mobius is as stable as as a ping-pong ball on the top of mt. Everest, especially where their heroes are concerned.
Did Tails actually have a birthday, ever? Or any of the characters for that matter (particularly Tails becausse he was so young.) It's a shame, I think that should have been mixed into character developement. It'd be nice if it didn't have to have been done in a jump like Archie (or so I understand... looking through SHQ's scans there seems to be an issue where they're suddenly adult with children, and it's my understanding that that's how things go on), although I can see much of the neccessity of that (especially if nothing interesting happened over the years, just soap-esc. stuff.)
