Remember the Summer Special that had bios of the Freedom Fighters (Tails, Amy, Johnny and Porker)? I'm almost certain that the one for Johnny mentioned that he had an attraction to Amy. And of course, there was the occasional hint in the actual comic every now and again...
I'm sure I've read somewhere that Kitching was trying to put an Amy/Sonic/Johnny thing in the comic somewhere...
And as for homosexual couples, come on. We all know Knuckles and Porker had to get up to *something* up on the Floating Island.
Yes, several of Kitching's old scripts do say he was thinking of a Johnny/Amy/Sonic triangle, though it never progressed past a vague idea.
Also... allegedly, Lew Stringer's pitch on the Amy/Tekno & The Dimension Ring stories was entitled "Lesbians In Space". A in-staff joke, or a hint of something between those two? Well, clearly it's a joke but let's pretend it's not and support THE ONE TRUE GIRL FOR AMY!
As far as I can remember all it got as far as was SOnic joking that if Johnny Hitched up with Amy then she'd finally leave him alone...
Can't remember anything else in the main strip though...
...didn't Robotnik have an eye for Amy at one point...?
I don't think it was very long-lived...as I recall she beat him up...
Then again it may be a dream I had once a long time ago...
Can anyone prove me right (or wrong)?
Wraith
you are most certainly wrong...
unless you mean the many cases when he would say "Why my dear rose..." followed by his plan.
but that isnt affection, otherwise he also has a gay desire to be with grimer, sonic, porker lewis, and comander brutus also.
Sonic's too much of an insensitive prick to be interested in romance. =] I like him in Sonic X because he is actually capable of fully letting his guard down once in a while.
Brand new here but I thought I'd give an answer to Dariens question on the scans since I've read nearly all of the Archie Sonic. Yes there are a couple issues in which they are adult and have children. This actually is not part of the true comic. They decided to do a spin off, of sorts. They had a side story called Mobius: 25 years later. It was just an imagining of what it MIGHT have been like when the Sonic group was older. Sort of a parallel future universe thing. Consider it a fun little side story of what what might have happened but it actually has no relevance really to the comic as it is.
Oh, right, sorry I didn't see the "04" there, my bad.
Don't worry about it. Welcome to the Mobius Forum.
