Chapter 1 Intro
------------------

In the depths of Space floats the skeletal remains of a star freighter. Over the top of the wreck we see other destroyed and ruined ships hanging or tumbling in space. There is massive electrical disturbance in the area, which dances and leaps between the wrecks. The feeling is that of a massive, grotesque graveyard, made more disturbing by the dense patches of cosmic dust. Through the dust we see the massive outline of a space station. It is like an enormous baroque Cathedral, with dozens or thrusting spires, porticoes and heavy inter-twined scrollwork covering it's hull and like a Church at night it has an eerie, almost mystical quality about it. Within' the depths of the station lights flicker and die as a dense mist rolls through the labyrinth of corridors. The only sounds that can be heard are the frequent clanking and chinking of moving metal. As the mist floats around the catwalks and corridors, several COM Bots emerged through the eerie mist and proceeded to escort a large, circular, stone object along the catwalks. One of the machines turned to another.
"Co-ordinates for device activation confirmed" It said in a digitised voice.
"Affirmative..."
One machine turned sharply, studying the wall opposite, plasma rifle in hand.
"Sensors indicate non-roboticized life within' sensor range... target acquired and locked"
In less than a split second a blue blur sliced through the wall and the waiting COM Bot on the opposite side. COM Bot components became embedded in the surrounding walls and a firefight ensued.
Sonic slowed to a halt, all COM Bots but one lay scattered across the mist-shrouded floor.
"It's over Iron Claw, nowhere left to run now!" He yelled down the corridor.
"You are right hedgehog, this is the end!"
Quickly Ironfist, the 1st COM Bot pressed a small slab on the side of the Stone device... it slowly began to emit a strange green light, humming only slightly at first. Within' several seconds the noise of the device drowned out all other sound, everything emersed in a deathly green ocean of light.
The whole universe shook, became distorted and then ceased to be.
There was only darkness...
