Theory on whether Sonic X can or cannot fit within the continuity of the games.

Nytloc here, I have a theory considering whether or not Sonic X should be considered part of the SegaSonic cannon.

Sonic Adventure: Sonic Adventure was released in the U.S. in the middle of 1999. It had stunning graphics and great gameplay. One thing really bugged those who played some of the older Sonic games. Humans were quite common in this game. The only human known to anyone who played Sonic in the earlier games was Dr. Ivo Robotnik, Sonic's arch nemesis. Why the sudden huge change in the human population? Why is it that some of these places look like places out of the older games, while others look completely different?

Sonic X: Sonic X was released in 2003. It first takes place in an unknown planet. During the first episode, Sonic is caught up in Ivo's malfunctioning base, thus sending Sonic and all his friends (And a ten mile radius.=p) to the planet Earth. Everyone was put in a seperate place on Earth, and the Chaos Emeralds did the same.

Season 2: Season 2 of Sonic X shows the Sonic Adventure, Sonic Adventure 2, Sonic Heroes, and Sonic Battle storylines. These games are a very important aspect of the SegaSonic Cannon. Season one's first episodes tell how everyone is on the planet Earth during the duration of these games.

Cream: Cream the rabbit was first introduced as a playable character in Sonic Advance 2. Sonic Advance 2 came out in the U.S. far after Sonic Adventure, but the first season (The one before Sonic Adventure happened on Sonic X.) showed Cream before her game debut. I have a small theory on this. Have you ever noticed that all the levels on the Sonic Advance series look similiar to the older games. I beleive that the Sonic Advance series took place on Mobius. The level build is similiar to Mobius, and Cream is revealed at the right time. You can argue that Cream was never shown in the Sonic Adventure or Sonic Adventure 2 games, but think of the Chaotix. The Chaotix were shown years ago in Knuckles Chaotix. Many people thought that they were to be never seen again. Then, out of nowhere, Charmy, Vector and Espio of the Chaotix came back on Sonic Heroes. Does this mean that they simply did not exist during all the games in-between? I don't think so…

*The Robotnik Family: Sonic Adventure 2 revealed the only known members of Ivo's family in the SegaSonic Cannon. Maria Robotnik, his cousin, and Gerald Robotnik, his grandfather. We all know that Ivo was first shown in Mobius, during Sonic the hedgehog for the Sega Genesis. So how did Ivo get to Mobius if his family lived on Earth? The easiest way to explain this would be through Chaos Control. (The man-made kind that Ivo uses on Sonic X's first season and Sonic Advance 3.) Chaos Control was shown to teleport Sonic and friends from Mobius to Earth, so why could Ivo not use it to go to Mobius? It is the only way that I can think of to make the SegaSonic Cannon in itself a continuous idea. * Ivo may also be known as Robotnik, or Eggman. It all depends on the name you like.
