Since Doctor Sonic emailed CITV, I too have also sent them an email about the recent editing Sonic X has received. I said about the 20Min time slot, fans not being happy about this, and also that Not all fans have access to Fox Kids [where apart from EP3 every other episode has been UNCUT].
And those fans are missing out and want to see episodes uncut, not with bits missing.
I received a reply earlier this week…Here’s the reply:
Hello
Thank you for your e-mail about Sonic X.
You’re quite right, we occasionally make edits to episodes of Sonic X
(and other acquired programmes) in order to make them fit into CiTV’s
schedule. (The actual time available for CITV fluctuates according to the
number of commercials and promotions we are asked to transmit).
Whilst you’re aware of the existence of edits in the programme, because
you’ve seen the uncut episode on another channel, our editors always
ensure that there is a continuity of storyline.
As you’ll probably be aware, Sonic X repeats continue for the rest of
this week. Thereafter the series is not scheduled for transmission for
the rest of the summer. I have had other e-mails from fans asking about
the likelihood of further episodes being broadcast, so I will write to
you again when I have a response.
Hope these comments are of use. Thanks for watching, and for taking the
time to write.

This email is both good and bad. Calling their edits “occasional[ly]” is completely wrong going by ep10 premiere [the repeat was uncut!] and ep03 repeat.
The good thing is they mentioned that other fans have asked if further episodes would air. This is good, since I didn’t
mention new episodes. Congrats to all those who emailed them, at least they know we want more! [I mean, we have only had 13 of 52 episodes!]
Lastly, they said they would write back to me when they have a response. [New episode dates, I’m guessing.] I doubt they’ll actually
do that, but you never know.
I urge UK sonic fans to email ITV and ask for new episodes. Remember to be polite! ^-~
I used the same email as posted by Doctor Sonic: webmanager@citv.co.uk
Its up to us to get the whole series aired. Preferably, uncut.
