If you’re like me and you tend to spend your days listening to lo-fi and chilled out versions of videogame soundtracks, then you’re in luck, as a new album from Funk Fiction has given several classic Sonic tracks a new chilled vibe and released them to streaming services.
‘Sonic & Chill’ is a 14-track album from LA based composer Funk Fiction a.k.a Pejman Roozbeh, and features relaxed beats along some recognisable melodies from Sonic the Hedgehog’s past hits.
The album, from the Game Chops record label, covers music from the golden-era of Sonic’s Mega Drive heyday, with songs from Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic 3 & Knuckles all receiving funky remixes.
