Good evening friends, Tristan here. In today’s report, Peter Moore testifies before Congress, a Genesis/Sega CD hybrid called the WonderMega hits EBay, and something that has hit home for all of us here at Sonic HQ brings a wonderful turn of events.

Sonic fan, Thought to be Killed, Alive!: If you’ve been on the Mobius Forum lately, you would know the sorrow that has poured out from forumers as we believed that a forumer by the nickname of Tails was killed in a car crash very early this week. That appears to have all been a misunderstanding. The mother of Tails had misidentified a body coming from a crash involving a car looking remarkably similar to her son’s as it being Tails. She then notified SHQ forumer LianneKa Echidna of the news. Now, Tails is back at the forum, alive and well.

Peter Moore Testifies Before Congress: After an FTC report was released claiming that video game, music, and movie companies deliberately market ‘violent’ material to teenagers, Peter Moore of Sega of America traveled to Washington DC mid-week to adress a Senate committee in favor of the entertainment industry. A key point he made is that half the readers of popular magazines are aged eighteen or older. We will continue to follow this heated debate on video games and violence up in the US nation’s capital.

Rare Hybrid Console Sells for $200: The Wondermega, released by JVC in the United States under the name X’Eye, was sold on EBay by a gamer from New Zealand for just over 200 US dollars. The WonderMega can play Mega CDs and Genesis cartridges, and is also a karaoke machine.

And that’s it for now, I’ll be back next week.
