1. Chao will sometimes play with the ball if you throw it.
2. Give it animals or drives corresponding to the type you want it to become. Red animals/drives = power, green = running, purple = flying, yellow = swimming. If a chao’s already evolved into one type, you can alter its looks by focusing on another type during a certain period of its life (ie. a Flying-type chao that’s given red animals/drives after it’s evolved will look different than a Flying-type that was given yellow animals/drives). After it reincarnates, you can make it into a completely different type no matter what it was originally.
