    1) I heard that the anouncement for Sonic Adventure 3 was really a remake of SA1, if so then when will it be released and what systems will it be on? 2)Are there new characters in Sonic Advance 2? 3) What is Ristar like ( I heard it was going to be on Sonic Mega Collection)?

    1) Dunno the date of release, but it’s on GameCube like SA2 Battle.
    2) Refer to the news page.
    3) Ristar is like Sonic, only you play as a little star guy who can grab enemies and bonk his head on ’em to take ’em out.

    1) Knuckles never absorbed the ME in any universe.
    2) Earth= games, Mobius= comics.
    3) Not likely. SA2 doesn’t really have anything to mess with.
    4) Sonic’s dad was a victim of Robotnik’s tampering of the Roboticizer, which was created by Uncle Chuck, who was trying to make it so he could live without the pain of his major injuries, during the Great War. Sonic’s mom was roboticized by Robotnik, who used Jules(Sonic’s dad) to throw her in.

    Nope, there isn’t. Those races are designed for Hero Chao versus Dark Chao and Dark Chao versus Hero Chao. Normal chao should be able to race in either one.

    In the UK Sonic the Comic, yes. From what I understand, Super Sonic came from Sonic being pushed too far and going insane, at some point Super splits from Sonic to become an evil force type thing.

    1) Nope, Sonic Advance 2 will be out soon, Phantasy Star games too.

    4) Not really, if they’re only on one system people wouldn’t want to buy a whole new machine to play ’em, Sega’s multi-platform so most of their games are released to most current systems, making more money for ’em.

    Is the name of the King of Mobius ever given in SatAM? I know that Archie calls him Maxamillian Acorn, but is it given in SatAM? Is Sally’s last name ever given in SatAM? The reason I ask is that SatAM sites use these names but I don’t here them mentioned on my episodes (though they are USA Network versions). Thanks, BrmSort

    Where is the Sonic Story based NOW?

    Back in the day, Sonic lived on Mobius and Robotnick was one of the only humans living there. I left the Sonic universe for a couple of years *slaps hand, but when I returned to SA2:B on the GC, it seemed Sonic was on Earth, there was no mention of Mobius and they even call it Earth I think in a few cut scenes. Where is Sonic now and if it is earth- is there any explanation as to why he’s there or is it a new storyline?

    In Japan, the series has always taken place on Earth, and the world was dubbed “Mobius” in the translations. The games recently adopted the original names (hence the change of Robotnik to Eggman) so now, in the SEGASonicverse, it’s Earth, while in the Archie/SatAM/AoStH/SU versions, it’s Mobius.

    No, neither Sonic nor Tails are in Super Smash Bros Melee. The total number of playable characters in SSBM is twenty-five, and none of them belong to SEGA. One magazine (EGM, I believe) published this as an April Fools Day joke.

    I have 2 questions 1)How come I go to the midis on one part of the sight,it goes to midi player, but never plays? 2)It would be a great addition to the sight if, on every part of the sight, a midi automatically played(y’ know, like the midi from Sonic Crackers played automatically for Q & A,midi from Sonic 3 & Knux played automatically for the News Archive)

    2) It’s already been done, and midis aren’t really ment to play automaticly, they clog site loading, that’s why we have a music randomizer in its own window. You can still see the remains of that old style in some pages.

    In sonic adventure 2 it said in my book that Big the cat was in evey stage but I cant find him can you tell me were he is in evey stage.Thanks Sonic HQ

    In the Dreamcast version of the game, Big makes several cameos in the levels. For instance, check the grid on the floor of the platform during the first Sonic-Shadow fight. However, if you have the Gamecube version, he’ll only appear in certain cutscenes if you tap A as they’re playing.

    1) No, just an SA1 rerelase for the GameCube. SA3 is in the waaay far off future.
    2) I dunno. Possibly.
    3) That’s a major no. Thoes systems have gone the way of the Dreamcast.

    1) Try used game stores.
    2) The engine was made for Genesis/Megadrive and not the Game Gear, besides, I think Sonic Labyrinth is older than Blast.

    Please answer these questions I’ve sent them before but for some reason I have to send it again in order for them to be answered…Please Answer 1. How did the whole Sonic gang survive the ordinary ending in sonic advance (where they fall from space) while Shadow died in SA2? 2. Are they coming out with a second “Sonic Mega Collection” with the remainder of the “good” Sonic classics? I really liked CD a lot so I wanted to know. 3. Will the games in the Mega Collection be exactly the same (No SA special-moves, etc.) as before? 4. Right after Sky Rail with Shadow in SA2B, in the cutscene following, I saw Big the Cat behind the stone door. How do I see him again? Are there other places where Big shows up? 5. Is the Metal Sonic found in S&K an up-grade of the Metal Sonic in CD? 6. Will Teddy Tails and the Knux Robo from Sonic R make another appearance? 7. Was “Sonic the Hedgehog the Movie” made by Sega? 8. What are all the evolutions of a chao in SA2B and how do I get them?

    4. Big appears in some of SA2B’s cutscenes if you tap A as they’re playing. However, it (apparently) seems that you have to select the specific scene to see him, rather than just play through Story mode.
    5. No, it’s an upgrade of the one found in Sonic 2. Scans of Japanese sources (the official Sonic Jam guide) have revealed that both are called “Mechanical Sonic.”
    6. That would be great, but probably not.
    7. Sonic Team was involved, but I’m not sure to how much of an extent.
    8. There are 78 total. Experiment with different animals/drives before the chao evolves its first time, and after it goes into its first mating season.

    About Sonic Mega Collection…

    According to SHQ news, Sonic Mega Collection has the feature for playing as Knuckles in Sonic 1, 2, and 3(like the S&K lock on feature). But the original idea for playing as Knuckles in Sonic 1 was scrapped years ago when S&K was about to be released, due to a minor bug in the gameplay which froze the game. If this is so, can you really play as Knuckles in Sonic 1? Gracias.

    As far as I know it’s like Sonic Jam, so the games are untouched. You can set S&K to play the Special Stage minigames for Sonic 1.
