    I have a question , of course [cough] Why on sonic x sonic runs but Amy and the other do not well eccept knuckles on episode 5 next to the end when he defeats Eggmans robot.But on sonic advance and all the other advance games [Big breath]!!! kNUCKLES,AMY,TAILS,AND CREAM do run fast and I mean fast as fast as sonic. Well Why doesnt Amy and all the other characters dont run as fast as Sonic does? I like sonic encyclopedia ALOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    hi, can u tell me whether the sonic archie comics are released in the UK please? i am a big fan, and would love to start reading the comics. thanks.

    For the most part, they are not. A few people that post on the message board have either an import or comic shop that does get the Archie comics, so they buy the comic directly from the store. It is possible, but not likely. The large majority of people that get the Archie comics in the UK do so by requesting it from a comic shop via Previews (which would require you to place orders a few months in advance) or via online shops, which are listed in the store section of the site. I can’t vouch for any of the UK ones in terms of reliability, but I do know that Ace Comics is recommended all the time. –True Red

    Ive ben tryng 2 go super sayianjin but i can’t seem to do it. I collected 7 emeralds and got 50 ring but it does seam 2 b working. i tied 2 fly but my mom told me to get off the roof…but my hair isnt shanniny or n e thang so i don’t think i am n e way, who dew u make it wark?

    how old is amy truly? in somepoint didnt she wish on an emrald to make her self older? so isnt she really like 8 or somthing?

    In Archie, she is the same age as Tails (a little younger since Tails was born before her). She is physically about the same age as Sally & Mina due to wishing on the Ring of Acorns. It has never been said where she is mentally and that is the constant source of speculation. If Archie continues on its path of making things as similar to the video games as they can where they can (and based on the way she has been acting & looking since Sonic ), Amy will probably be considered 13, a year older than she is in the video games to coincide with the year jump. –True Red

    There are only 6 emeralds in Sonic 1. You need 7 for Super Sonic, therefore Super Sonic doesn’t exist in Sonic 1. –True Red

    Hey, Fullmetal here. Got a few questions for ya. (1) In Sonic Adventure 2 Battle (or whatever you want to call it), how many different Chao eggs are there?
    (2) What does the Cardboard Box do?
    (3)I’ve read somewhere that Sonic was originally a rabbit or an armadillo. Is that…true? ~_^ Thanks.

    1) Twenty-seven counting the default kind and excluding the types obtained through the GBA.
    2) It’s a hat for chao.
    3) The original concept was of a blue rabbit. Later when the rolling idea was thought up the species considered were armadillo and hedgehog. Obviously we know which was picked.

    Can you post any more fan art because I’ve only seen fan art as recent as 7/18/04 or something. Are you not allowed to post any more? And another question. Is there an easier way to defeat the gaurd robos in Sonic Battle when you’re doing knuckles’ episode. I just can’t seem to defeat the robos at the hotel. Is there an easier way? Remember this question is about Sonic battle.

    1) Concerning fan art, read rule #11.
    2) While I’m not sure how you’re doing it, the easiest way I found to defeat the Guard Robos is to use Knuckles’ special attacks, mainly alternating between his air power and ground trap.

    Yes, Archie announced that it will be making a Sonic X mini-series to come out in the summer (winter for those in the southern hemisphere) this year. No, they are not cancelling their current series. –True Red

    Both names are accurate. In Japan, he was named Fang the Sniper, but outside of Japan, he was named Nack the Weasel. He’s been in three games, all of which are listed in his Sega profile. –True Red

    I’ve read Tails’ bio on your encyclopedia, but I’d like to know if Tails has ever seen his uncle Merlin in person or been contacted by him ever. This is driving me insane!!!! I also have a few other questions. Today’s date is 12/19/04 and I missed the Sonic X episode last Saturday (12/11/04) where Charmy and Vector appearred. PLEASE GIVE ME A SUMMARY OF THAT EPISODE OR TELL ME WHERE I CAN SEE IT!!!!!! I love the Chaotix and I’m mad a missed it. g2g thanx 4 ur help ^_^

    1) In Sonic #95-97 he met Merlin. He was never told that Merlin was his uncle.
    2) The two worlds seem to be merging (Sonic & co. with Chris’ world) as many from Sonic & co.’s world start appearing, including the Chaotix, which has been looking for Cream as part of a case. They assume that Sonic kidnapped Cream based on stories they find of Sonic with Cream. Meanwhile, Sonic runs into Eggman who is supposedly trying to tell Sonic that he’s turned over a new leaf when someone appears behind them. The Chaotix arrive at Chris house and see Cream. Eventually, a fight breaks out and Sonic arrives with Vanilla, Cream’s mom. Cream is very happy to be reunited with her mom and the case is closed. Other things happened (mostly funny) but that was the major stuff.

    The Sonic Encyclopedia pages listed Sonic’s Complete name as “Olgilvie Maurice Hedgehog”, however Sonic the Hedgehog [Archie Adventure Series] NO. 53 seems to reveal his full name as “Maurice Wentworth Hedgehog”. I have not, as yet, seen Sonic the Hedgehog [first installment of the first mini-series]. Could someone clarify this for me?

    No, Jules clearly stated in Sonic #53 that Sonic’s middle name is “Maurice” (which is something Sonic himself said only to Sally in the original Sonic mini-series for Archie). Re-read the comic again. Antoine assumes that Maurice is Sonic’s first name, but Jules says that Maurice is Sonic’s middle name. Then Jules is about to say what Sonic’s first name is, but Sonic cuts him off. Ken Penders revealed on his message board that he gave Sonic the name Olgilvie Maurice Hedgehog. Olgilvie has never been said within the comic, and considering Sonic’s dislike for his first name, probably never will be. –True Red

    The music director for Sonic X’s English version is John Sands. The Japanese theme is by Hironobu Kageyama and Hideaki Takatori.
    Jun Senoue most certainly did the music for Sonic Heroes, as he was its sound director. Crush 40 is his band – he’s its guitarist. Ted Poley, while not a member of Crush 40, lends his vocals to “Lazy Days – Livin’ in Paradise” (SA), “Escape From the City” (SA2), and “We Can” (Heroes). Many of the vocal themes in Heroes were created by Jun Senoue in collaboration with other artists.
