Determined to find out more information about the legendary-and possibly not real-eighth Chaos Emerald, Fang, Bark, and Bean make a trip to Angel Island. But trespassers looking for an emerald are going to have to tussle with the Master Emerald’s guardian, Knuckles! Meanwhile, Sonic and Tails follow their own lead on another mystery…

Fang is dodging Knuckles's traps in Mushroom Hill, Fang would gloat about him being a Hunter but Knuckles is hunting him. Fang thinks on where Knuckles could be hiding which Fang would head over to Sandopolis and would say how ancient treasures could be there but Fang refocused himself. Fang would eventually spot knuckles under a pillar. He would call his Marvelous Queen as a distraction while fang lands a sneak attack on the echidna leading down a large pit. Meanwhile, Sonic and Tails would fly the Tornado and catch up with the disappearing ship but the ship would disappear before they got a chance to fight it, Sonic would be angry wanting a fair fight as Tails mentions he will study more at his workshop. Fang would be annoyed by the Hyudoro as Knuckles would attack him causing another fight. They would fall down another pit which would be where Bean and Bark were tied up at, Fang would blame them saying he worked hard to get to Sandoplis. Knuckles and Fang would continue their fight with the Marvelous Queen setting the other two free making a three on one. Fang would ask knuckles about the Eight Chaos Emerald, Knuckles would assume he means the Master Emerald similar to Sonic. Fang would imply that Knuckles is keeping info from them with knuckles replying in calling him delusional. The Fang Gang would fly off with Bean saying not to waste him and Bark's time or they will leave fang would retaliate by tipping the Marvelous Queen over the ocean, with the two deciding to stay. The Fang Gang would head over to a Island Eggman has tried to conquer in the past. it would start to rain in Newtrogic High Zone, Fang saying about his gain, but Bean would ask him what do him and Bark gain from its Fang replies with it being a benefit to the whole gang. With the lab starting to flood due to it being destroyed. Eggman would rescue them and would be taken away.
