"The Return of Chaotix – Part Four"
Writer: Nigel Kitching
Artist: Richard Elson

Sonic's recapping his origin story again – but this time, it's to Kintobor himself, whose newly twisted timeline means that the whole accident never happened.

Armed with an untested anti-Metallix device, Sonic and the Chaotix decide to utilise the Omni-viewer's apparent ability as a time travel conduit to return to the past and rectify whatever was changed – even if they have to fight their way through an entire time stream of Metallix to do so.

The anti-Metallix device turns out to turn them against their own, so fixing it to one of them soon sorts out that little problem – but Sonic's presumably so distracted by everything (it surely can't be that he's not very bright, can it…?) to figure out why the rotten egg that one of the mangled wrecks contains seems familiar…

"The Graveyard – Part One"
Writer: Nigel Kitching
Artist: Nigel Dobbyn

With Knuckles safely trapped in the very cave he was trying to reach, the Spirit of the Kohenyu Herd explains why it's taken such a strong dislike to him.

It seems that the ancient echidnas – not knowing how few of the creatures could breed – hunted them to extinction, and that Knuckles must now be held accountable for the ignorance of his ancestors.

“Brute Force – Part Two”
Writer: Nigel kitching
Artist: Carl Flint

In a notable continuity slip, Brutus reveals that he is manufacturing his own secret army from the Misery Zone (see `The Unbeatable Foe`). With his own badniks complete, he launches an attack on the Cotton Factory Zone, with only Johnny Lightfoot to stand in his way!
