In the Chaotix Communication room Sonic is talking to the Freedom Fighters to explain the events that happened involving Super Sonic. However he’s cut short by Espio. The chameleon explains about the Black Asteroid, formerly the largest gemstone mine on Mobius, where they will be taking the frozen Super Sonic to before setting off a gravitation bomb that’ll seal the entrance shut. As Sonic questions if it’ll work the ship bumps into something. It’s passed off as nothing to worry about, as this section of the Special Zone is full of debris. However this is far from the truth as Nack the Weasel boards the ship in his micro size as they reach the entrance of the asteroid. Returning back to his normal size he manages to shrink Sonic and the Chaotix down, causing the ship to crash since Vector can’t pilot it at this small size. Nack manages to capture most of them before they can escape but he misses Sonic…
