if you go to stage 2, there is a place where you use drum and try to go downward, but i seem to not get there...how can i go through? i used all of my 10 minutes to go through, but i cant. is there another way?

On Sonic Heroes with Team Chaotix in Mystic Mansion I can't get past the bit were your'e in a circular room and there's a door and above the door is a target switch and when you enter the room
there is a locked up upsidown switch.How can I get past the room?
