You say that Sega won't put Archie Sonic Comic charcters in Sega Sonic games, but most of the Freedom Fighters were copywright of Sega and some of the characters from the Comic appeared in "Sonic Spinball" for Genesis. Correct? If that's true then why can't or don't they do the same with the other Sonic games?

Sega of Japan reveals that both games will be available on the same day.
Sega of Japan has announced that both Sonic Mega Collection for the GameCube and Sonic Advance 2 for the Game Boy Advance will be available on December 19 in Japan. Sonic Mega Collection includes several classic Sonic the Hedgehog games, including Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic the Hedgehog 3, Sonic & Knuckles, Sonic 3D Blast, Sonic Spinball, and Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine. Sonic Advance 2 lets players assume the role of Sonic, Tails, or Knuckles as they travel through several new worlds.
